not destroy the work of [Music] God that's what I wanted to talk about [Music] today so what is the work of God uh a lot of you who read the Bible know about it but I want us to remind to remind you that's why we open Gospel of John chapter 6 and we're going to read verses 28 and 29 then they asked him what must we do to to do the works of God requires Jesus answered the work of God is this to believe in the one who who he one he has sent so the work of God uh according to what Jesus Christ said it is a faith or believe to in the one who who God has sent and it's called by the Lord himself the in this into the Son of God which is based on the Bible today because of the it it is a work of God the Holy Spirit works it works it out in us and he does it through people and now think everyone just deeply think maybe could this this work of God be destroyed also through people even like Apostle Paul said even through Christians the word of work of God could be destroyed I am talking about faith about the I'm talking about the faith which is based on on the word of [Music] God if it wouldn't be so the Apostle Paul would not have said do not destroy the work of God we can we can all spread it out and strengthen it is written that blessed are the feet of the preachers of the gospel and at the same time we have to be very careful [Music] so not we would not destroy the faith in somebody weak in [Music] faith First Corinthian 8 chapter 8 vers verse 11 I'm not going to read but you know I just wanted to show the an example Paul is talking about to the church in Corinth but he is talking to them with the same problem just like in the Roman Church and he said that we can have Knowledge from God but with all that knowledge sometimes we may not have love and the scripture warns about it so our knowledge put it on so our knowledge and also is based on the Bible and we know that the sacrifice to Idols is nothing but our knowledge without the God's love without without sound mind so this weak brother or sister for whom Christ died is destroyed by your knowledge can you imagine how seriously it is written we we congratulate each other we shake hands we we hug each other before even kiss the holy kiss at the same time we can destroy the brother or sister weak brother or sister with our knowledge without love think about it and your fre which is you know uh for example about the sacrifice to [Music] Idols it it can destroy the conscience of the Bak brother and you will become a hindrance to [Music] him and he will go back to his idols he's [Music] weak and he will take it with faith and will he will start worshiping idols and it's of course it's difficult for us to understand the uh the idols but let's take the alcoholic and he will he can be he can perish back to it because he's weak and he'll start sinning and it is written do not destroy with your food someone for whom Christ has died and God put on my heart to tell tell about it talk about it in before this great celebration we're going to celebrate so how is the faith destroyed in God's people how is it destroyed how can you destroy the work of God which Holy Spirit does in every heart with so much patience first let's open up Matthew Chapter 5 uh verses 5 to 8 yes seven 5 to [Music] 7 and it says that it can be destroyed the faith can be destroyed Through The Stumbling or um hint hindrances and I as I said very often those kind of um Temptations come through people offense offenses verses 5 to s Matthew 5 Matthew Matthew chapter 18 and whoever welcomes this child in my name will welcome me if anyone causes one of these little ones uh to stumble those who believe in me it would be better for them to have a large mil Milestone hung around their neck and to be Dr drowned in the depths of the sea and verse seven I want to do a little explanation it doesn't talk about the little little small children it's talking about the Christian people who are maybe adults but they just believed and they're weak in their faith and did you see what Christ [Music] said and it's it's it's a terrible thing that the Bible said that it it's better for to execute that person before he destroyed the faith in this new Believers Hearts wow to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble so such things must come so this those those hindrances those Temptations must be in this evil world but the main thing is about to the to the person through whom Temptation or comes go wow because we have to be very careful to the word of God so would not this the Temptation or stumbling would not come through any one of us and somebody weak in faith would perish he and he will believe the former faith that God gave him and with this face the righteous life in Christ it could be through your wrong behavior that you can be a stumbling block to to the person so the first the faith is destroyed in people through Temptations through stumblings uh second is to the false through the false teaching uh 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse one the spirit clearly said that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons uh not a lot of times but I saw that people who sincerely believed in God and then it happened to them that the false teaching came into their lives and they stopped living correctly in their families with the husband or wife and even some of them even left their family with eight children it it's reality because the false teaching came into their lives it says the spirit clearly says so in the later times if we live in those times some some will abandon the faith whatever they had is going to be destroyed in them and the second is from the false teaching we had to I want to tell you two examples from from the Bible Let's uh remember Adam and Eve they knew God they were remaining in God's grace in in in Garden of Eden but the tempter came so was there was no other people so the snake was there and the tempter came through the snake you know the devil is called um the old snake and he came to those Adam Eve who knew that they were not supposed to eat from the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil but but they started to listen to this false teaching of the de of the Satan and they stopped listening to the god to God whoever created them with whom they had Fellowship [Music] through the false teaching they St stopped believing in in the word of of living God and what happened they started sinning them and there this sin that they would not even look at it before started to be pleasant to them and the second example the church in galatia also the false teachers came to that church and they tempted some and they went stepped away from the faith and those the false teachers destroyed their faith they fell fell off from their Grace they fell off from Christ that's why it's very important not to fall into temptation which is a false teaching if it is in this church if you have brothers or pastors which Shepherd you I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ do not go to the internet if you have some kind of questions go to the pastors and talk to him remember the pastors have responsibility to Shepherd you and they will give an answer before God you see the eve did not seek counsel from her husband and that was a her problem that's why be very careful but at the end I wanted to say something else I said about the the word of God gives the warning signs when we travel by the road we see the warning signs and it's very important being a professional driver uh when you see this sign that says the it's going to be curved Road or icy Road it's very important to be prepared or you can slow you have to slow down because there is a danger ahead also in our spiritual life we have those warning sign signs in our [Music] life we know like like in in in on the road how many people died fall into the accidents with even kill other people that travel with them because they ignore those warning signs but at the end before we pray I wanted to to say dear brothers and sisters that God calls his dear Church every believer in him to be co-workers and and participants in the great work of God every one of us is called not to destroy but to build every one of us is called to help do you agree that this is a calling of God to the church if you agree say amen amen God called us so we can build each other up to help and and and to strengthen the faith in one another it's not only the calling of the pastors is the calling of every believer not to put down but strengthen the face of God to strengthen the weak because some people are very weak in their faith we have to uh strengthen them sometimes the people people are very tired in in we have to help them out to follow Christ until the end started to limp it will go away but some kind sometimes it happens and it's very important so we can support each other's Faith one last verse I'm going to read today it's Galatians chapter 6 verse two and it's whatever I'm going to say it's not a warning it's a calling it's a calling from God and for you and for me carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ the law of Christ which is to love and help one another if the brother and sisters has some kind of um difficulty Burden Burden so the law of Christ says we have to help him to carry that burden it's not with me didn't happen to me so I'm okay let him do it [Music] himself a law of love of God but the law of God is consist of the love and helping one another and the scripture says to for us to pray for one another if somebody asks you to pray with them even if you're tired still pray for them help them up in prayer for their needs the scripture calls us to be very attentive to one [Music] another maybe not as I want but what whatever my brother or sister wants or needs the scripture calls us to forgive one another and the scripture calls us not to offend each other but in Reverse to comfort each other because the holy spirit is a comforter and it even it was said in the Old Testament Comfort Comfort my people Comfort one another teach and admonish each other teach each other it's very important because some people do know do not know what to choose and give them good advice according to the scripture um feel compassion for one another Christ had compassion if we have all the same feelings as Jesus Christ had it even written obey each other it's very important and it's a strengthening of the Church of God in faith take care of one another just like God taking care of us also we have to take care of one another and just as I said before greet each other with the love of Christ greet each other be um friendly friendly friendly greet each other but not in evil but in good greet each other uh do not because you're going to be participants in everything that is good greet each other and and encourage each other because we we have the the the functions of love in the we see it in First Corinthians chapter 13 and it is written it not rejoices in evil in Li Li not truth but rejoices in the truth if we GNA behave in that way and there a calling from every page for our Lord Jesus Christ and in this way we're going to um strengthen the faith of God in one another and this is most important and this is Faith and it's even more precious than the gold which is cleansed by fire do you have faith do you have faith you have a great treasure and this is the word of God the work of God this is work of God so you can believe in in the one whom God sent God sent prophets and they did not believe them Christ said one time to Pharisees if you would believe Moses you would believe me also because I didn't come out of my own self God Sanctified and sent me Moses did not come uh in his by his own accord but God sent him but Satan hates the word of God and he tries to destroy the work of God and thank the god that God sent Jesus Christ to destroy the works of devil and he to sanctify to do his work of Salvation just think about it brother is if we going to live with God forever people think oh I have to go to work I have to get married I have to get something but God does a great work through his word the new Heaven and new new Earth getting filled on which truth remains and when the time comes wow all the angels and all the people going to say wow how does it happen that's the meaning of the life to live forever on on on the on the Earth where the truth remains how many years huh how many years how many years H new Earth forever no years that's our calling when God called Abraham he thought initially oh he's go from one land to another land but then he understood God did not call him for that and that's why he didn't Grumble because he didn't have uh this Earth this land was not even his own but he was glad because God showed him a city and he said your you your son your grandson and all your descendants who will believe just like you believe will live in that City that's why do not put any hindrances for your brothers and sisters with yourself with your ey and your your will but help them to come together to the God's kingdom amen amen let's stand up let's pray let's thank God for his light which is the word of God and we're going to pray that God will strengthen our faith so we all will come been a few years since I've been here in your church service but I see and I recognize some of you it is God's mercy and Grace as brother Vil said my name is sery you know I am one of the ministers in Ukraine in ch and here by the mercy of God I am here with you today the god that we believed he is so great and he has his work sometimes we don't understand to the end what he is doing and then we ask the Lord the question why but God has his plan and his purpose and what he does he does not make mistakes a couple of words I'd like to share about his Mercy about two years ago when the war started you know we had a few Brothers came from Romania they brought some humanitarian um supplies and just to tell you they still come today and they deliver it to up to this day and in one of the services and um one of the brothers stood up and said God showed me a vision I saw the angel of the [Music] Lord that was standing on the territory that you guys live in he spread his his wings like to protect or cover and there was a word I I picked this piece of property or land that it was a place or land of um it was in when Israel was in Egypt and they were in the their plot of land and before God took him out of uh Goan the um plagues were poured out on the Egyptian people but in Goan or in this little piece of land that was in the middle of um Egypt there was nothing there no plagues there was God's protection it was God's covering and the Word was said if you follow what the word says abide in the word prepare to serve other people then this this place this land will that promise or blessing will remain but if not based on the word of God the angels will take away the the the wings and it will be the same like in the other parts of this country brothers and sisters God is great and we thank God that in our town or a part of our place there is no missiles there's no destruction God is great and he does protect and I'd like to say this through the church that I'm I'm a minister in one of them as one of them through this period of time of two years about 3,000 people have walked through our doors who were running from the war in the in the House of Prayer we were able to accommodate 150 people to to live the kitchen was open 24 hours 7 days a week people who came they had to be fed a place to wash to feed them and to rest through the churches tens of thousands of um of refugees from Eastern Ukraine came and somebody might and somebody might ask why God why why is it this way brothers and sisters the people that came here or has migrated to this country to the West Ukraine they have met Jesus Christ that some of them have been baptized they became members of the church God is great praise him for that let us put our Hope on him and my encouragement for each one First Corinthians chapter 15 50 uh 5 amen amen praise God brothers and sisters I'm going to make a couple of announcements for this week today at 6 PM we will have youth service we invite everyone all our guest anyone who is wanting welcome and we will have translations so everybody could participate and everybody could understand and the youth is preparing for Christmas they're getting a program ready so we encourage enage everyone to be there as a a reminder Monday we have prayer service at 7:30 as we continue to pray for Ukraine for Israel with prayer and fasting um some of the church services closer to E uh to Christmas Sunday uh 24th I'm sorry uh 24th 24th we'll have our regular Christmas Serv uh our church service and then Christmas day Monday December 25th 12: p.m. we will have a service [Music] that same week the following Wednesday we will not have a church [Music] service in December 35 uh 31st we gathered at the regular time at 11:30 11 and then at 10 p.m. we will have a new year celebration as a church as a whole church and we will stay till midnight to celebrate the New Year we ask you to please please register CH on the church group you will get a registration [Music] even during announcements when we are talking you could do this and the fee for this celebration will be $20 per person just a reminder the first Monday we will not have a prayer meeting as a reminder we have a special Ministry nursing home after church service we have a Ministry where we go to nursing homes and if you have kids in Sunday school that you would join us Springs 2 p.m. by Publix after we come visit them sing with them we'll come back to church and we will have pizza and if you are coming please let Peter or myself Nick know also Monday the 2 5th we the more you love them so we want to see all of you I'm going to continue our service today and the theme of my sermon or my message will be make a choice in your life my wife really likes flowers when we were in Poland I was reading that in the Netherlands they had whole Plantation of tulips and I said we have to go to Netherlands I'll show her all the fields of the Tulip I went 800 kilometers and we came on the last day when they were closing down these Farms of tulips she was getting kind of upset because we came on the last day in the the Tulips started to die it's like there wasn't but the ones that were there she took hundreds of pictures hundreds of the ones so the first thing we did when we came back to America is she planted flowers where we live and she took a special Rose and she was cutting it trimming it and she cut off the last little stem and she planted it at the very bottom of that Rose and one morning we're leaving our home and she said I want to show you something look from that stem one flower there was just one rose that grew out of it just one and when I saw this I was thinking that's like a righteous person you cut him off and you probably shove him in the place where no one sees him but he grows there and he gives a beautiful rose we are the Righteous of God and no matter what your life is like and no matter where they place you maybe you sing on stage or you're a preacher but they want to take you and put you to clean in church or do something [Music] else no matter where you are you will give the fruit of God because you are righteous and the righteous does not matter what happens where it happens they always have fruit and my desire is for you to always make the right choice in your life and I'm reading the Bible and I want you to listen very carefully to Ephesians chapter 4 verse 29 you can read it on screen [Music] for [Music] and also we'll be reading from the book of deuteron my y b I lost my place where I had and also don't have much time you know you might think I came to preach and I forgot where I'm reading from it was open I just wasn't looking in the right place Deuteronomy 1 verse 19 listen very carefully [Music] and reading also verse 26 [Music] also reading verse 34 and also verse 37 this is a very interesting text I want to remind you one more time to make a choice in your life what do you say in your life I never would regret it when I was quiet I always would regret it when I said something from our words Upon Our words relies our blessing we look going to look at two places in the Bible where their words had a very big impact is the Israelites leave egyp Egypt you know they had a very difficult slavery they went through a great desert it was very difficult very hot and in front of them is the promised land and if Israelites maybe if they had binoculars they would see the land in very beautiful colors but they had an idea let's send some spies to that land you know because they didn't have the drones that fly above as we do now but they picked the best of the best so these 12 went into the promised land and they come back from that place and they report to the people what they saw so 10 of them saw one thing and they said and two saw a different thing and they said and can you imagine two verses 10 it's like you know a board maybe 10 voted and two vote against and you know what are you going to do and so they came and they what do they say the land is wonderful but we will never be able to get it and reach it never they have big things that's very fortified they destroyed all of Israel's Faith to nothing so even what you say in your homes it destroys your faith it destroys your family your relationships the things that you [Music] say you know just a couple words even one word can destroy the things the relationships you've been building for years but Joshua and another brother they said a different thing they said positive words they say God God is with us we're going to get to that land we're be we'll be able to take that land and can you imagine out of two million people that came out of EG you know what kind of news was did they take very hard they took the news of the 10 because what the 10 swed with their words the two could not destroy it because it's two vers [Music] 10 so I remind you one more time make the right decision in your life think about what you say about your family about your church because the church is God's and God stands behind the church think what you say about your health about your ministry we have a radio that's called uh I believe in Ukraine and the journalist of of this radio station I asked her where have you been she said I was at the very peak of the mountain range just [Music] yesterday I said did you get to the very top of the mountain and she said when she was going up to the top of that mountain she said I'm not going anymore I don't want to go I'm not going to walk anymore I'm just going to go to the [Music] mountain but she said once I read that everything that I say it has great power and if I say that I'm going to stop that means I'm going to stop and I'm not going to go any further but I said to myself you can my body I can do it and she ended up getting to the very top of that mountain and she said I was so joyful I could make it to the top even in my age I got to the top of the mountain so look at what you look say in your life if you bless yourself then blessing will come upon you and it's very interesting look at this story that I read they said these words God is looking bad upon us they automatically made God someone that's looking with anger upon [Music] them they say God took us out of Egypt so we could die here in the wilderness how many times have you said something like that in your life why did God let this happen you automatically give God the wrong characteristic because when you think God let something happen you think that God did the wrong thing and later God says because you have said this let it be like you have said and so they had to wander in the wilderness for 40 years but it's interesting the two people they entered the promis they said God is with [Music] us and when cev turned 80 years old and they came to this mountain he says to Joshua he said 40 years ago I walked among these mountains I saw the sons of Enoch and listen to what he says and my strength is the same as it once was give me this mountain I will take it this guy is 80 years old give me this land I will take it the man of Faith always speaks positively you know you're looking at a over a period of 40 years everyone around him is dying but he has full health he is healthy and he gets to the promised land how great of a joy was it for him I'm saying again the righteous grows in no matter which place he is no matter what situation you're in it's not going to destroy you it'll build you up because God is with you I'm reminding you again think about what you say when you have good words speak them as encouragement but you have if you have evil words that don't give the grace of God then just don't say anything but only speak healthy words full of life and faith I want to look at a few more stories but because of time I'll only look at One More Story there's a very interesting Book of Ruth Roman she's it's written as a story like as a romantic story and it's written in Bethlehem they had a famine and Amal and his um wife decided to go to a different place Bethlehem is translated to a place of bread and the place where they're supposed to have bread they do not have they have a a fam and they went to a different place and they moved away and their two sons they get married to the girls of that that place and that that tribe those people were [Music] cursed by God's law they did not they weren't considered God's people and they were cursed imagine somebody tells you that your family you are not allowed to go into the house of God not in any house of God all the doors are closed but A great miracle happens when this man of dies his sons die then Naomi takes her two daughter-in-laws she says it's a great big problem that a big big problem I tell you to go back to your people and it says that three of them were just crying three women that had a big tragedy happen in their life they were just weeping and crying no perspective of no future nothing they have nothing it's it's a land that they're not familiar with they don't know anyone they don't have husbands and we have that sometimes in our Liv you know it's a different people a different land a lot of problems and you don't know what to do and then one of them says her name is Ruth [Music] she says I will not leave you Naomi I will go with you how important of a friend that is to hear that from your friend I will not leave you I will not leave you but I'll be with you I'll go with you I don't know through what but I'll go with you and that is faithfulness and what did that faithfulness end with you know this story very very good but before the end I want to tell [Music] you that in your life sometimes you'll have the people that don't want to go with you and they leave you you know sometimes we don't like that feeling sometimes it hurts us it doesn't feel good when they leave you you know the biggest hurt it is for a woman is not when her husband dies but when she needs her the same in her life and her Ministry in the church everywhere is very difficult but there will always find those that will be positive in your life and so this story ends with a very interesting end that you know very well Ruth um gets married it it's just unimaginable how it happened she go she gets married to a rich man God just totally changed her life she can't even under imagine what will happen and her son she gives the name oette and oette he has a son and a say was the father of David and from David's tribe came Jesus Christ from the cursed nation of the people Ruth opens her door for the birth of Jesus Christ on Earth [Music] we don't know about the other sister-in-law Oprah what her name but the story talks about how blessed the life of Ru was why because she made the right decision in her life when you make the right decision to follow Jesus and you follow him in this life your end your story will just be amazing and [Music] phenomenal God will help you go through all difficulties in life everything will go through we have two more minutes for one story and then we'll have a prayer I cannot leave a Apostle Paul but they very clearly told Paul there where you're going evil is waiting for you his hands were tied together and Paul very clearly could have said God warned me I know what's waiting ahead for me God can tell me and I'm not going anywhere where he's tell me but he has a different Choice he said I want to suffer for Christ I have a chance in my life to suffer for Christ I'm going to suffer for Christ and Paul did not lose he died the death of a Marty and they have a special reward Paul made the right choice in his life if you make the right choice in your life if you serve the Lord you're faithful in [Music] church you do not destroy somebody's Faith Like Pastor Nikolai said before me but you lift someone up you encourage them you serve in the church the people you sing You Preach you sweep you do different things there's a great reward waiting for you you will never lose you will never lose you have a great future and a great joy let us stand for prayer [Music] [Music] very [Music] [Music] for [Music] foren please just take your seats for a few more moments praise be to our Lord dear Church before us we have one more prayer for our needs and for Thanksgiving I want to read one place from scripture praise be to our Lord and for all of us we're in this world we have difficulties who doesn't have any difficulties raise your hand we all have difficult times but in those difficult trials we have Grace amen who has Grace raise your hands we all do praise be to our Lord and the Lord said be incouraged I have overcome the world you know sometimes the trials we go through they don't stop they'll follow us until the end of our lives and the word of God says be faithful for a little just until death after death it will be easier there we will meet with our Lord and He will wipe away every tear from our eyes and we will rejoice with him to the end of the ages it's just important for us through all these difficulties and trials to stay faithful to God and thankful we have one sister yusa who has a very special Thanksgiving to God I invite her to come and share praise be to our Lord I Thank God and thank you for your prayers that I can see you again see your faces and that there's many who praise God and I see a few that already went to be with our Lord and I want to bless you with all the best and to hold on to the Lord I went through two operations through surgeries you know many know I had the operation because I had cancer I lived for six and a half years and it'll be two years since I had my second operation for cancer but I thank the Lord because God has plans for my life when I was supposed to go to my second surgery I asked God why is it the same thing again and God said I still have plans for you and you know I was thinking what am I going to share with people because I got in that same hospital where people are are are suffering the same problems and God told me just go and share with them so I went and I shared in the hospital with the people what I went through and I knew that you know if I live amazing I can share with the people but if not I'm going to go be with the Lord and God has been able to use me to testify of what he is doing here while I'm on this Earth and I thank you all for your prayers I want to tell you all so that you are filled with love so that you would love one another because in a church you can't be without that you know in Ukraine I don't have my children there I don't have family there but I have a church they would help me they would sit with me and watch and they helped me to the end until I left the hospital and even they led me home and I want to encourage and bless your church that you would be filled with love and you would be able to receive those people that need love and they would come here and receive it may God bless you all praise be to our Lord that's a wonderful testimony dear Church dear brothers and sisters let's be thankful to one another that we have one another as brother vasil said when we talk with one another more we get to know each other more and we love one another more I want to correct that a little bit that we're more intentional in love for one another because we're all different and you know we have always have an opportunity to be more intentional with our love for one another just as God made room for all of [Music] us if anyone else has any needs or thanksgivings you may share and also the team that's going to nursing home if you can come up we'll pray with you sister has Thanksgiving that she was able to come here and visit our church that God blessed her on her trip brother talked with his cousin yesterday and he's asking to pray for his wife Alina in California she just had a baby three months ago and she just needs some prayer for her health sister has Thanksgiving to the Lord [Music] sister's asking to pray for her husband who will be coming back and for sister Galina pray for her as well pray for brother's wife she's a little bit sick her son's coming from Ohio over here on Tuesday if we could pray for his travels stand pray and for for for for
