[Music] foreign God brothers and sisters it is an honor and privilege to be in this place today you know it is it is uh amazing to be able to share the word of God with believers you know and it is even more amazing to to be used by God to do what his what his will is for you and today I would like to share what uh has been on my heart for quite a while now and I've just been kind of uh uh meditating on it and waiting for a way to deliver the message yeah and uh I guess we can uh name this message the importance of the power of the Gospel and so I want to start off with sharing and examples a short story so there was a missionary that was gifted a car for uh his missionary use and so he uh he used uh he was using this car but there was one uh flaw in in that car so um every time he turned it off it needed to be jump started or uh or pushed started in order for it to to start the car because and so for for the whole time of his mission work he always had to find somebody nearby or you know find a group of people to push the car to get it to start and so he actually thought that this was a genius idea like he he really got it together and he was able to get the car going and do his mission works but then uh he you know due to old age and uh slowly was not able to continue that work and another uh missionary came to take over that that uh Ministry and so he showed him the the car he showed the new new missionary the car and uh the new guy just said hey open up the hood and he says he looks in there and finds a spot he sees that it's just there's a loose cable and he just you know moved it into place got in the car and started it you know and it seems so strange you know the the whole life of this missionary he he was working so hard to to get this car to start and yeah it was just a loose cable a loose connection that caused the the car to need that approach contact [Music] s and so um I would actually like to read from First Corinthians chapter 1 verse 18. yes so for the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved is the power of God and so in this in this uh place it's written that for those who are being saved it is the power of God and so in that in that uh car example the contact uh the cable that had the loose contact what exemplify faith or in other words our connection to to God and so and so um in this verse it says that for those that are being saved it is the power of God and so uh we we as Believers we would need to believe in the power of God in order for it to save us and for us to be able to step into the fullness of the promise that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings to us and so why what is my point in in sharing this foreign is because people nowadays are under heavy attack by the devil of the devil and they're under all they're struggling with all kinds of problems and issues in in this life and he the devil is hard at work killing stealing destroying people's lives in and outside of the church you know mental illness is at an all-time high divorce is is rising parents are struggling with children in their homes no matter what what methods or principles are applied the problem continues to persist s and it almost seems like the more information and knowledge that is accessible nowadays and there still aren't any answers you know I even uh somebody somebody actually told me you know that they were struggling with uh certain things and they reached out to a fellow believer for help and the response of the brother was uh or you just need to read your Bible more you just need to pray more problems you know maybe you need to start going to church even more than you are right now and and their response was how can I do those things if I don't even have the desire for it and so the question stands then where are the Believers that can demonstrate the power of God the power of God and his gospel through love to awaken the faith in the people to give them that passion to have a deep desire for God and the things of God so in other words in order to awaken their faith so that they would they would have a deep intense desire for seeking him and for for his power by grace to flow into their lives do we believe that there is power in the gospel to answer the problems we are facing today inside the church and outside Believers and non-believers you know we uh we oftentimes uh Jesus in his time here on Earth even when the disciples were with him day in and day out go there are so many times we see him that he looks to them and asks them do you not believe the question do you not believe it you were with me all this time and yet you still do not believe and so though the power of God being demonstrated there before their eyes day in and day out they were still confronted with unbelief and so we see that this uh problem of unbelief is can ver if it persistent there while Christ was present and so what does that mean for us today could it be possible that there is uh unbelief amongst us you know could it be that we don't fully believe in the power of the Gospel you know just just the simple fact that Christ was crucified and that is power enough in order for us to be freed of our mental illness illnesses our family problems our problems with our children Christos do we believe enough in the simple fact of what Jesus did for us on the cross that that is more than enough for us to walk Victorious and triumphant in our life of Faith here on Earth and why am I addressing this it actually uh came to me uh in an interesting way me and my brother Daniel we were outside my house in the front yard just doing a couple things yes and so um while we were you know doing stuff uh car drives by and just stops right next to my house and so I approached the car he kind of seemed to try to get my attention I approached the car and I said hey you know what's going on you I'm looking for this in this place do you by any chance know where it is so I opened up the maps and I looked and I I found it it was two streets down on the left side and I told him that's where he needs to go yeah but for some reason something was like stirring inside me and I I wanted to ask another question so I asked him uh what is it you know what is it you're planning on doing where are you going are you like a contractor are you gonna like landscape or what yeah and uh he responded he said oh no it's just uh somebody came to our church and I wanna I wanna help them with some some some of their yard work uh and so I I asked him um what church he's from and we had a short conversation on faith and he said he's from Assemblies of God they're in New Port Richey somewhere but in that conversation there was one thing that he said that stood out to me this this random stranger that just pulled up in front of my house and he said that that the god uh in the times we live in today the gospel is under attack and it's not just from the world but he very clearly made a statement that it's also coming from within the church and so and so what what exactly does this mean sure and I didn't understand it for a bit yeah and he's and and uh I began to realize that it's uh and by methods of which the devil is making people lack faith so unbelief and in the power of the Gospel and it's through methods of religion religion and worldliness and uh Pastor nikolai's sermon on Grace uh touched on this uh briefly as well spoke on how there was uh two two sides of it of falling from Grace yeah and one he mentioned was worldliness and the second one he mentioned in Galatians was uh when Apostle Paul was talking to the Galatians and he said that you have began in the spirit and now are becoming perfected by the flesh but what we see that's very clear in both of these uh areas the root of the problem is unbelief the people that are living in the world they don't believe in what Jesus did for them because they're living living lawlessly and ironically the other side they're living by the law so much so that they believe that they are being justified by it sure which in effect nullifies the gospel itself which is what Jesus did on the cross for us and the end results in both measures is falling from grace and therefore the power of God cannot be lived out or made manifest in our lives if we are find ourselves on either side you know and the reason why I want to touch on these these things is because I believe that we as Believers uh we are called to live a life of light and salt for the Earth correct we are called to be examples of the power of God here on this Earth in First Corinthians chapter 2 verses 1 through 5 it is written verses one through five and it says and I Brethren when I came to you did not come with Excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring the testimony of God for I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified I was with you in weakness in fear and in much trembling and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the spirit and the power that your faith should not be in the wisdom of man but in the power of God and so we see here uh in verse four and five it says that it was in a demonstration of the spirit or in in the end of verse five it says not in the wisdom of man but in the power of God and so we see here that it's it's the power of God made manifest or being demonstrated it's that is is what I guess you could say is the our our faith in the power of God and our connection to God by faith is what allows the power of God to to work in our lives and in the lives of others that we come in contact with I think the best way for me to explain this I'm going to share a practical example from our cell groups that we uh gather once a month twice so we have one that one time we gather at home and other times we gather outside in at like the tarpon Bayou or just Outdoors and so oftentimes we have people that join us um when we are outside they just seem to come by and uh you know we strike up a conversation they eat with us we have Fellowship s and so what I realized is that when I'm having conversations with these people these people start to open up about certain issues that they're going through certain problems in their life and so it gives us an opportunity to minister to them to share with them the gospel evil to let them know that whatever it is that they're going through that dark place that they are in their life that the power of God can bring light into that Darkness should ERS and so and so uh we end up praying with him talking to them and and I notice uh some of the times that the people actually have a uh a very obvious reaction to to the power of God you know maybe to that point of the prayer they may have been very distant in conversation very you know neutral in their approach to the conversation but then when when we pray and then when we talk to them after I start to notice that they almost as if truly experienced the power of God truly felt something more than the conversation brought and so this kind of uh touch this kind of is an example of verse 4 that Apostle Paul says in my speech in my preaching were not persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the spirit and of the power I start to notice that it is actually the power of God that brings this person's person into Faith the demonstration of it [Music] you know and so and so uh my encouragement to us today you know we oftentimes like the story I shared in the beginning you know our Christian Life is uh like the one in the mission the mission the first missionary you know we try uh to find methods to make something work the way it needs to work and it can work sometimes just but the second missionary was the one that found out that he just needed to fix the contact that connection so he he needed to apply the faith through relationship with God in order for that power to to be there at that first crank you know to not find ourselves in the world in a place of unbelief or maybe in a place where we're in the church but me being perfected by the law and in which both places end up in uh falling from Grace which is the power of God and so how then do we as Believers fulfill the uh the preaching of the gospel and and delivering this gospel to to the world if we find ourselves in those areas you know it says that by grace through faith right you have been saved you by faith through Grace and so it is Grace that bring that brings us into salvation Grace it's it's yeah the grace is the power by which we are saved and Grace is also the power by which we are healed by the power by which we are delivered the power by which we are made righteous made holy it is Grace and it is Grace that is the power that that makes this this happen this makes it a reality and it is our connection that makes that a reality in our life our faith the connection to God makes that Grace an active work and Power in our life but it doesn't end there I hope because we we are able to walk in this power in our lives in our families in our church and be a demonstration of the work and the power of God to the people around us and even if there are people out in the world that they are going through a heart they are going through hard times they have the the attacks of the devil against them but we can make a stand of faith and allow by Grace the power of God to touch their lives and by this in effect we are delivering the gospel to them in which they can be receptive and receive Jesus Christ into their life you know and I want to close on this as we go into prayer and uh I believe it was uh Pastor um from uh you know Pennsylvania that was here on Sunday yeah there was a there was a point that he shared in his sermon that I want to close on yeah yeah you know the he mentioned about the verse where uh it says there are many teachers but not many fathers of what what how can I relate this to my word today so we as Believers we can you know teach and and tell people and do things certain ways you know but it's actually a demonstration of the Gospel by love demonstrations and and by the revelation of the power of God into whatever area it is that they they need that that touch of God in their life if it that is the heart of the father and so I believe that is what he meant by this and in that example where I said a person came to me and said I'm going through all of these things can you help me a teacher a teacher would respond you need to read the Bible you need to do this you need to do that but her father would sit down hear them out and pray for them and ask God to bring in that life bring in that light into that place give them a hug and say I love you just like a father would love you and this is the revelation of the power of God that we need today in the church and outside of the church so that we would truly see through love the love the power of God made manifest in this world today let us stand to our feet and let us pray that that we would awaken in our faith and have a a desire in order to be this father-like figure in our faith today so that we could be that father for the people inside of the church for the people we we know outside of the church so that we could demonstrate the love of Christ to them and so that by Grace the the power of God be made manifest in their life life and so that they would be able to make a confession of Faith sure because there are many Souls out there today that are dying they're they're trembling they're in fear they're in depression they are perishing and God is looking for one just one person that would make that firm stand in their faith and we'll say yes Lord I will be the one I will be the one that will demonstrate the love of God to this person I will be the one that will sit there listen hear them out and and love them like you would love them and I will pray and allow the power of God the power of your Victory on the cross by your blood for that problem in their life to be solved so that those people that are lost they would be found so that those people that do not have a hope they would have a hope Lord let me be that person that will carry your gospel should be that will carry your presence and walk in your spirit to deliver to deliver the grace of God to the damage through the demonstration of your power by your spirit in order for all of mankind and their hearts to be reconciled with the father Lord let me be that person church let us make this Proclamation today in this place we want to be used by God in order to declare the power of the Gospel not just the gospel in its word Nepal foreign that all of our problems in our life touch the touch those problems that we think are so far far away the children in our families Lord that need you Lord fill us with the fullness of your spirit your love so that we could be walking Witnesses of your kingdom Lord Jesus let us be this light church [Music] Lord Make Us Alive make us a light Lord for this world today Lord let us be people that will change the lives of others in this world Lord for the goodness of your kingdom father God let the gospel be proclaimed Lord Jesus so that people would come back to you Lord so that their hearts be reconciled with you Jesus Lord I pray that your power Lord let it be our work in our church today Lord let us all as ministers as leaders in this church Lord let us be awakened to your spirit let us proclaim the power of God In This Place Jesus and all of us here together Lord as a church as members Lord let us find a place let us find a way Lord in order to to be able to demonstrate this power of God Lord let us come to your plan for our life your calling Lord Jesus that each and every person each soul lord would see you and see your love and see your power and so that we would fulfill the will of the father who is in heaven the way you had fulfilled it Lord Jesus let us abide in you and you and us so that we could truly be these living Witnesses of the kingdom of God here on this Earth proclaiming the gospel and the good news of your kingdom in Jesus name we pray amen your seats foreign in Ukraine that they would uh have their needs addressed the way they need them that way we could be a part of their of their troubles and serve them and brother Victor is a minister there and he will share on some of the things that they need there no Allah I greet you dear brothers and sisters I would like to send greetings from Ukraine from the churches to thank you for the prayers the material support the spiritual the prayers we feel it let us say please Praise Jesus foreign it just so happened that we had uh where people come from a war zone from a Hot Zone I mean they left their their livelihood and came in very different things and we had a Ministry in our church so people from like the White House so once or twice a week they would have 40 to 50 people on these lessons so they they went through this narrow path to become a particular day they found out about these people and they understood that it was truly so much and so they gave these lists to people in our church that uh are are serving this kind of thing the mission is that on one hand they have the gospel and then the second is produce we were making this happening and we agree that 40 minutes we will have a gathering and a way we spoke to them about the greatest name on Earth and in heaven where the preaching of the Gospel touch these people and the result was that they began to go on Sundays to church we made evenings on Thursday just specifically and this was a way to have Fellowship one-on-one so they could share their needs we heard them and to save them foreign that not one surgeon nor doctor can help them they are these are people that are beautiful and lawlessness [Music] your devil has taken away their livelihood their families and their and their jobs and we have given them this opportunity we have a place where uh tables and it's a place where we can prepare food for them at church and give them food and the gospel is preached and it's a part of the process Apostles Apostle Paul said one plan I'll share one example for one boy being down by sin the worst they had a little boy six months he went to work God baptized him in spirit and water and he became a Christian active members of the church brothers and sisters is when a sinner repents not even one healing the the Angels when a sinner repents [Music] because he said that the gospel go to the ends of the Earth God Saves he loves him and he continues to save I mean amen ities so we'll be having an
