so i'm a very curious person and i want to meet each and every single one of you i want to know your dreams your aspiration your career goals and while that may sound a little bit enthusiastic because we have a full house today um i still want to meet some of you more intimately shall we so from jacksonville when i come up if you would introduce yourself with your name um your home church and oh we don't have a gas thank you thank you so where's our orlando group our lander group is in the back over here so again if you can give us a brief introduction with your name and just share how god made it happen but you're all here today so i'm ariana and i came from um gray slavic church in orlando um how many um like 12 of us um i mean god blessed this trip yeah definitely blessed us we were all really excited to come here i just want to say we had a prayer team praying over this conference and over everything that's happening today so i am not surprised at all to hear um that it was a smooth ride and and and that god blessed you so may i see some girls from port charlotte or north port where are you raise your hand okay all right so i'm erica uh we're all from we're about a group of 13 people we came from fspc and our drive was also pretty smooth so glory to god oh first saw a pentecostal church thank you so much and of course let's welcome our local ladies i don't know bella you have anything to say she's um she's dying to say that she that we are all happy that you guys made it and we look forward to meeting each one of you more personally okay so before before we get started i want to go over a couple things just so you can be excited and anticipate what's going to happen next so in in a little bit we will have a prayer we will have a special introduction we will have our main speaker olga kluchet which i'm excited to hear followed by intermission and launch pictures fresh air all the things um we will have our countdown posted so please be back by 2 pm we just wanna point out that your your being here is not accidental that god has planned this day to be in your life and his holy spirit led you here and so the word of god says before i formed you in the womb i knew you before you were born i set you apart and that is in jeremiah 1 5. and so how amazing it is to know that god has a plan for a life in its entirety and to fulfill god's plan we need to learn his wisdom when we need his wisdom to guide us in our daily lives in our relationships in our friendships in our priorities and what is the beginning of wisdom you guys have all those banners in on your tables can we say it all together the fear of the lord thank you proverbs and so just a reminder so we have come here together to be encouraged to stand in the truth of god's word to learn for hope to be renewed for our hearts to be strengthened and to have a great fellowship okay so let's rise and pray our heavenly father i thank you for this day for your love for each and every person that is here thank you jesus we pray that your blessing that your presence may renew our hearts and our minds that we may seek you more than anything or anybody else in this world jesus please help us to be to grow in wisdom to grow in friendship to grow in love and to pursue your ways for our life in your name we pray amen i do want to introduce someone very special because when god gives someone a vision he's the one that sees it through bigger and better than they anticipate and i want to invite natalia to come and share what god does when we have a desire to serve him praise the lord this is a day that god made for us finally it's happening today as you probably already know um me and my name because she says natalia gregor through the invitation so um i just in advance would like to kind of like um excuse myself because my english is not that good couple you're gonna understand me i'm sorry but maybe i will need to translate it later if i get a little bit you know worrying about it but anyway i'm gonna say a little bit about myself you probably would like to know about it so um i was born in a big family it was five girls and six boys my father was a pastor and of course my mother that she has 11 of us and actually we lost the youngest brother and um it was not easy but my mom was very um good example for me and when i was in age 15 was age 15 today some of you okay in age 15 i lost my mother she was only 45. i was born like in the middle was five younger me and maybe for some reason i say this because if you still have your mama i just i think god will talk to your heart today okay because sometimes i know we have a difficult time not understanding each other but my mom was big big example for me when she was having 11 of us she was singing in a choir she was in charge of the sunday school i was in the back those days we didn't have those kind books and everything she bought them a little notebooks and she was writing by her handwriting for each child in the sunday school the verses or songs they're going to sing specially for christmas or special events and how she was um like host people in the house how she was kind struggling with her house so after second stroke so she passed away but when i got married i have two daughters why i'm saying this you're gonna understand later um and when my all the daughter was 19 and a half so she got married before she got married i was just like so like thinking like wow this is just for temporary time it's time for teenager girls and mother i lost my mom when i was 10 15. and my daughter is 19 and she's going away from home she's gonna have her own family and god will start talking to me that's how important to have a life together mother and and daughter when you're still in the in the house with your family because i know sometimes um of misunderstanding be missed like a very important communication or even just spending time together so i think this may be something um you just want to maybe heard maybe for somebody it's going to be like something slow like you want to think about it maybe you need to fix something so then first of all i think you have to appreciate your mom is alive and that's maybe um you want to learn something from her um so and god started talking to my heart actually my older sister um she had she had her daughter who got married also she's here actually from orlando my nephew um my knees sorry and um we was just seeing that something we are gonna miss and god will start talking to our heart to open like girls mission missionary and just have something for them so about 13 years ago we started to have a group four girls and we called mary and marta which is represent spiritual part and like a wife or like a lady in the church so actually we was doing a lot of stuff in 2019 we have celebration for 10 years as an anniversary for the missionary so and then about two years ago two years ago god was talking to me to have the conference which is we have today but you know what i was thinking so later just maybe three churches like orchards one of the orlando church very close with and maybe northward but then when i have meetings with our pastor and brothers they give me a list whole list with the all churches from florida and when i start kind calling and send the invitation and have a special even direct contact with with the leaders and actually god that's what the god provides for us i'm very kind and surprised and um a lot of you i have we have like a desire to come and um so of course i was praying and we was praying and thank god for a lot of the helpers from our church who made this happen because of course i cannot do that but with god we we had this happen and thanks god for our speakers yeah it's almost done uh we'll see if i want to if i miss something so i just want to ask you as already that question was for you so why are you here today i know maybe somebody said because we heard an announcement in our church or maybe our leader tell us or maybe my mother encouraged or my friends going i'm gonna go too but i want you to answer the question for yourself but i think the answer is because god wants you to be here and praise god that you are here and i'm going to ask a worship group to come on front and they're going to worship god and thanks for that day today and i want to for everyone just to open heart your beautiful name amen praise god [Music] and on this amazing note i want to welcome our olga our main speaker welcome well good morning wonderful ladies i'm really happy to be here today and i must tell you that you are so blessed that you have people in your life that want to pour into you and bless you like natalia and her wonderful team who put this event together it is such a blessing that from such a young age you are getting all of the wisdom that we're going to talk about today you're getting it from so many different sources and i hope and pray that you guys have amazing moms and dads who are also blessing you pouring into you so today we are going to talk about wisdom and as our main bible verse today is going to be from proverbs chapter 9 verse 10 the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy one is insight so we're going to kind of dive deeper into that but before we do i just wanted to give kind of a brief introduction of who i am some of you may not know me my name is olga i live here in florida palm harbor and i've lived here for what is it almost 16 years i can't believe it actually it feels like yesterday i just moved here but um i moved to america with my family back in 1992. i was six years old so that makes me 35 almost 36 but i'm still 35 today and i'm married to my husband sergi for 16 years he's the one that made me come to florida i never imagined i would live in florida i grew up in the state of new york and that's my beautiful family my husband my two boys nathaniel is seven and josh is five they are so fun this is such a great age and so we've lived here for the past 16 years and um so i actually met sergey in new york they used to live there as well and um we met started to fall in love and then he up and moved away to florida with his family at the time i was going to nursing school and so he moved away and i was finished nursing school we had a long distance relationship lots of phone calls and at that time there wasn't really a lot as much social media and i don't think we even no we didn't even have face time back then so it was mostly texting and we still had to do that click click click click click click you might not even know what that is um yeah so he was busy here in florida he was um singing in a worship group working and i was going to nursing school and as soon as i graduated we got married and i moved down here and i'm also from a family of six kids i have three sisters two brothers wonderful parents and uh yeah i just had a amazing childhood growing up so um that's a little bit about me and um as a side note i guess what i do is um i as you heard i went to nursing school so i'm a registered nurse and then i also started this hobby cooking and my husband thought it was going to be a good idea for me to post the recipes online so i'm like okay i'll do it if you're going to do all the technical stuff if you take all the pictures i am not good at that so that didn't work out i had to learn all of that by myself so now i take the pictures and do all the technical stuff too so very interesting how you can learn lots of things you never thought you would do but yes so that grew into my full-time thing so i have been actually doing it full-time i get to stay home with my kids and cook recipes post them online do recipe videos as well with that team over there so yeah all right so let's get started talking about wisdom is it working am i clicking on the wrong thing there another picture of my family all right so what is wisdom i think in general we all want to be wise right and i looked up the definition so wisdom in the dictionary it says it's a the quality of having experience knowledge and good judgment the quality of being wise good sense insight inner wisdom and knowledge what you know that you're like a well-rounded individual and that you're generally a smart person you're not dumb i know none of us want to be dumb we want to be smart and we want to have that in our life right and sometimes i think that we think that wisdom and we imagine that to be somebody much older and yes wisdom does come with age but not always they don't kind of go hand in hand it's not just going to automatically happen that just because you're older you're going to become wiser you have to be intentional about getting wisdom in yourself it's not just gonna pour in or somehow happen just because you're older in fact sadly there's lots of older people who are not wise at all and we don't want that to be us so don't wait to gain wisdom later it's not gonna happen and right now when you're young you are making so many important decisions that are gonna have a huge impact on the rest of your life you are making decisions of who your friends are how you do well well or not in school what kind of interests are you gonna pursue the relationships that you have the person that you're gonna marry that is such a huge important decision that you're gonna make and it's gonna impact the rest of your life it's gonna impact your family your children and all of these things are so important and it's important to start young when you are when you are still at the beginning of your life not to go through life make a bunch of mistakes and then just be like oh now i have to clean up this mess but then it's so much harder to clean up the mess even though we serve an amazing god who is a god who redeems who has mercy on us who loves us but he gives us in his word so many instructions and so many amazing things that you can do that will give you the right start in your life to give you that wisdom so don't wait start today because it's so important to start when you're young because when you have a solid foundation then the rest of that structure is going to be so much stronger so whether or not you have i got to get this right right up or down okay so whether or not we have wisdom is going to impact so many different areas of our life when we make those wise choices when we have good judgment it's going to impact our faith and it's going to impact our relationships it's going determine how much intelligence you have and what kind of good or bad judgment you have and it's also going to impact your life skills and i think all of us can agree that we want to have all of those things so your faith is not something that just gets passed down through your parents it's a real blessing when when you start out with parents who teach you the right things but just because your parents have a strong relationship with god doesn't mean you automatically will just like wisdom doesn't just somehow get absorbed you have to put in the effort to get it the your faith has to be your own personal relationship with god and it's based on a trust that you establish when you go through life with god and with jesus in having a personal relationship and you know what once you experience god for yourself i'm going to read a bible verse from psalm 34 verse 8 oh taste and see that the lord is good blessed is the man who takes refuge in him once you taste it once you have seen god working your life you have experienced his power his grace his mercy to you then it becomes that personal faith and then that impacts everything else in your life it impacts what like i said the relationships your friends how you how you interact with your parents with your siblings and right now what kind of relationships do you guys have who are like the closest people in your life give me some answers family who else friends absolutely at this age i think friends is a big part of your life right i definitely had a lot of friends at your age and we also have uh how many of you guys have a job so you have team members that you work with you have a boss you have uh maybe you have your own business maybe you're the boss and you interact with people in your neighborhood when you go to publix and get some groceries so all of these relationships whether they're very close and intimate like with your parents your siblings or they're just you know people you just see day to day and you just interact with them just a little bit here and there those relationships will establish like the people in your life are very important you're going to be going through so many things together and that's why it's important to choose wisely now maybe your family you can't choose but your own family that you build you can choose and i really hope that you guys have amazing families but if you don't then that doesn't mean that you are going to have the same type of family build the family that is built on the foundation of god's word and you will have that healthy safe haven in a family here on earth so like i said relationships matter and the bible says in first corinthians 15 33 do not be deceived bad company corrupts good character and the way you treat your parents and your siblings today is very indicative of how you're going to treat your future spouse and your future children so if you're happy with how you're treating your mom and your dad today if you're happy with how you talk to them how you interact with them if you're happy with how you interact with your siblings then that's how you're gonna be with your future family but if not if you would be kind of embarrassed for somebody to watch you talking to your mom then that might be something you need to work on because your husband is gonna be the closest person in your life your kids are gonna know how to push all of your buttons when you're tired when you're cranky when you're hungry and you're gonna need to learn how to still be patient how to answer them without losing your temper and all of these things we are learning now so like i said start now to build those relationships to be that person who has a positive influence on their friends are you a positive or a negative influence on your friends are you the one that's bringing out the best in the people in your life or are you bringing out maybe not the best in their life so one of the most important decisions that you're ever going to make in your life is who you choose to marry and lots of decisions like for example a career i can tell you the majority of people who go to college actually don't end up doing the thing that they go to college for that is something that you don't have to stress out too much about let me tell you if you are not sure what you're supposed to do with the rest of your life that is okay you're still young you've got plenty of time and just go for something that you are excited about that you're interested in but guess what it's not the end of the world if you have to shift pivot and choose something else and you know what i'm doing something i didn't even know existed back when i went to college so you know you could get opportunities later in life and interests that build upon your experiences so that is the decision that you know yeah maybe you'll lose some time and money but it's not the end of the world you can't you know if you move somewhere you and and it's not working out you can move somewhere else there's so many decisions in life that you know if it doesn't work out you can always change you can choose something else try something different and it's okay but the person who you marry is a lifelong commitment and choose wisely this is the man who's gonna be with you in good times and in bad this is the one who who's gonna be raising your children with you you're gonna make the rest of your big life decisions together so choose wisely and don't base your decisions on who you marry just on butterflies and your heart is racing although that's important too don't marry someone who you're not excited to be with but that is passing and if you have any red flags besides those butterflies in your stomach if there's red flags pay attention to them because it's important so i just wanted to kind of you know talk about that because it's very important one of the most important relationships you're gonna make and when you're looking for a spouse look for somebody who is going to compliment you and you can build your family on your faith and if you guys don't have the same foundation if you don't share the same values it is not going to work or you're going to be in for a life of stress and pain and i don't want that for you i want you to have a wonderful beautiful marriages in your futures so another thing is of course intelligence and good judgment so and some of this is based on being book smart but a very tiny tiny percentage and some of the wisest people i know in my life are actually not that educated but they are so wise and some people who are very wise and educated they seem wise but they actually aren't so some of it is about you know just having uh being smart and being intelligent but the intelligence is actually the ability to acquire knowledge and wanting to have the desire to learn it's not really about your iq and it's so important for all of us for us to be wise to be humble to be teachable and that means you're willing to learn and in proverbs chapter 1 verse 7 it says the fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge fools despise wisdom and instruction if you think you know everything you don't want to learn i didn't say it the bible does you're a fool and of course we want to constantly learn you know i'm 35 i'm still learning constantly and there's so many things that you you have access to especially in today's day and age with the internet you can look up anything on youtube and learn how to do it you can take courses you can go to college for something that you're interested in you can uh get wisdom from people who are already doing something that you want to excel in and and get their insight and get their experience so that is the most important thing to get judging good judgment is to be willing to learn and to be teachable and just to be always looking for ways to grow to learn to always be on the lookout for how you can improve yourself and your mind and one of the best ways to do that is in the word of god because all of the answers in life can be right here found right here to how to have a a solid faith to how to have strong relationships to have good judgment everything you can imagine it's all in here and lastly but not not least importantly is life skills and this is you guys are at a terrific age for getting more life skills it's important for you to know how to budget how to how to take care of the money that you have if you have a job maybe you're not making a ton of money but this is the perfect place to start it's not when you're making a lot of money but when you're still starting to make money and you're starting to learn learn those life skills learn how to cook you guys would not believe how many ladies write to me and they say when i got married i had no idea how to cook the things we had to eat with my husband in the beginning so you are going to need to know how to cook so if you don't know how anybody can learn how to cook you do not have to be a gourmet chef but you're gonna need to feed people in your life even if you never get married you're still gonna have to feed yourself and you can't eat out every single day of your life that is not smart you would definitely break your budget right there and like i said it's just a life skill everybody needs to know girls and boys i'm teaching my boys how to cook too so it is very important to have those life skills what other life skills you think you need people skills absolutely you need to know how to interact with people how to have good manners and you know what it's so easy to stand out in today's day and age you go to a job interview have a good appearance come in look people in the eye smile give them a firm handshake that is a very important life skill to have learn how to write a good resume you have to know other basic things like doing the laundry don't let your mom do all the laundry you learn how to do the laundry and you're going to be a homemaker someday like i said even if you never marry even if you don't have 10 children you're still going to have to do your own laundry someday hopefully you don't plan on living in your parents basement the rest of your life so someday you're going to have to do that and it's much better if you learn when your mom can show you how to do the things that she's doing already and learn those things maybe ask your dad to teach you how to change a tire just in case something happens when you're driving and you're on the side of the road and you can take care of that and also taking care of your body getting enough rest not feeding yourself junk food or maybe not only junk food and you need to do all of those things and when we're learning these life skills it's going to come in handy for the rest of your life because that makes you a wise person when you can take care of yourself and you can bless others with those life skills and colossians 3 17 says in whatever you do whether in word indeed do it all in the name of the lord jesus giving thanks to god the father through him god wants us to put all of our effort into whatever we do with if you're doing school you're doing your homework do the best job that you can if you're learning how to bake a cake do the best job that you can if you're cleaning the house don't just do it oh just a quick here here and there i mean there's a time and place for that too but get in there and get a nice job do a nice job that you don't just shove things under the better in your closet you know so no matter what you do pour all of yourself into it and learn and i think this age is so fantastic for trying out so many different things you're interested in something try it out take a class look up a youtube video like i said and learn how to make something really cool maybe some kind of craft or cooking obviously that's something near and dear to my heart but anything that you're interested in take those things and like i said nowadays there's so many things that you can find online for relatively inexpensive or free and you can find out maybe something that you're interested in that you never thought you would be but once you try it and you get really interested you could get really good at it so um we've talked about all of these things and all of the aspects of your life where wisdom comes into play but how do we get that wisdom so i wanted to read to you guys okay we read that one in the beginning the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy one is insight so the only way to get to know the holy one is by spending time with him and the only way to know the word of god is by reading it and you can't just you know get it absorbed in you somehow you actually have to open it and read it you know if you're if you have some time you're doing your hair doing your hair takes a while right take your phone turn on the bible app and turn it on and listen to it while you do your hair or while you're cooking or cleaning and find the time to spend with god to spend in his word because it will it will impact every aspect of your life like we just went over right and um let's read jeremiah 1 7 and 8. go back there blessed is the one who trusts in the lord whose confidence is in him they will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream it does not fear when heat comes its leaves are always green it has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit that's jeremiah 1 7 and 8. i always love this passage in the bible and i grew up in the country next to a river we had a lot of trees my dad actually had a sawmill business so we had a lot of trees and when you see a tree that's planted by the river that is like the best place to be because those roots are always getting water and those look at this tree it's so strong and when we are next to the word of god when we are fed by the word of god that is when our roots are getting stronger so i want to show you guys this plant right here now i'll be the first to admit i don't really have the greatest green thumb but we'll still go with it i think plants are so beautiful so can you all see it here what do plants need sure what do plants need to thrive to be green and beautiful and not to wither away and die water water is the first thing and water is what gives those roots strength it gives them it gives them water and water is a source of life and water is definitely when we are in in uh in god's presence when we draw that from his presence when we read his word that will keep us from being thirsty and will give life to our plant then um i want to read to you guys from when jesus was talking to the samaritan woman he told her jesus said to her everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again he was asking for a drink but whoever drinks of the water that i will give him will never be thirsty again the water that i will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life so god's when we have a personal relationship with jesus that is what fills our soul and if we're not when we our relationship with god is maybe not there or it's not in the best place that it could be we feel that we feel that there is something missing and nothing else can fill that that place in your heart that void nothing else can fill it except for jesus and we need to have that water so that our roots can be vibrant so that we can be strong so we don't wither away so that we have strength in our life and another thing is we need to have good soil so what are you feeding yourself just like the diet you eat like i was saying earlier not to just eat junk food we need to eat nutrients that give us life we need to not just binge on funny videos online although those are funny sometimes and enjoyable but maybe not spend as much time on social media what kind of friends are we having in our life and that comes to sometimes the painful thing that plants need is a little bit of pruning so maybe we need to cut out some bad habits maybe we need to start feeding our plants healthy things that will help it to grow and and be beautiful in green and it also needs sunlight the warmth of the sun if you hide this plant and you give it lots of water and the soil is great but you hide it somewhere in the closet where there's no sun it's not going to grow we need sunlight and sunlight i like to think that it like is brings so much warmth just like when we're with jesus it gives us warmth you know like when you're watching some kind of movie or book that's not exactly good maybe you wouldn't be proud to be watching it next to your mom or somebody you think is a little more spiritual and that feeling you get after it's like ugh that was garbage and what a difference when you watch something inspiring and you are just so motivated you're excited you want to talk about it to everybody and you get you get that motivation that's how it is when we put inspiring and positive things into our life and sunlight does another thing it exposes things when you turn on the lights all of a sudden you start seeing things and it brings in it brings into view our strengths and also our weaknesses and brings them to life so that we can grow better so that is what a plant needs and that is what we need to get that wisdom and thinking that's how you can put put that away okay sure so we need to have that fresh supply of water and sunshine good soil and sometimes pruning to be able to grow and to be steadfast and let's go back to that verse of the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom what does that even mean does that mean we're scared of god i know some of some people are but in this case this is not what the bible is talking about being scared of god it the fear of the lord is having a re reverence for him a respect like something you you would have for your parents now would you do something that your parents don't uh don't want you to do just because you're scared of them yes that can be the case but the best scenario is when you respect your parents and you have a great relationship with them you wouldn't want to hurt them and that is kind of the same thing that it is with our relationship with god when we have the fear of the lord it is not because we're terrified that he's going to strike us down with something or punish us in some way it is because we trust him we have that relationship with him we wouldn't want to hurt that relationship with him and we want that relationship to be growing we we don't want to hurt that relationship and the bible also says in in that in the same bible verse is that the knowledge of the holy one is inside you can't know somebody if you don't spend time with them so the closest human relationship that i have is with my husband and how did that relationship come about it's not that like the some of the highlights of our marriage is definitely when he proposed to me that was so romantic or when we got married yes that was definitely amazing but there's so many other big highlights in our life throughout the 16 years that we've been together and there's those romantic date nights the days that our children were born and when we bought our house just like those big highlights right when you go on somebody's instagram page and they post lots of pictures of the best moments of their life right that is actually not the foundation of a good relationship the foundation is the days when we're making dinner together when we're talking about how to pay the bills and how we're gonna distribute the money that we're earning and how we're going to budget it in different ways it's when we're talking about the mundane daily things it's taking an interest in each other's work in in what and what all both of us enjoy doing it's those mundane daily moments when we talk when we connect that is what makes our marriage strong and if that marriage is not and that relationship is not strong on those continuous things that you do together that when you sacrifice for each other where you do things for each other and then we have that amazing trip to italy or something if that marriage was not strong to begin with that trip is not as meaningful but when that relationship is strong when you go through bad things and good things together when you still find things to laugh about together and then when you do have those romantic dates and those fireworks that it's it's even stronger than before so the only way for us to have a great relationship with god for us to get as wise as we can through his word is by spending time with him in some days you will have those big highlights in your spiritual life when you feel so on fire for god maybe you go on a mission trip maybe you're singing in a worship group or something maybe you get baptized by the holy spirit and talk in tongues there's so many highlights and huge moments and maybe you open the bible and you have the most insightful devotions as you're sitting in your room but then another day you open it up and you're like i don't even feel like reading it okay all right god well i'll just read and you read and you didn't feel anything but that doesn't mean you stop reading those those when you're faithful and you keep turning to the word of god even when you don't feel like it even when you're in a slump maybe you're not feeling it that day you don't want to pray but you still open the bible you still turn on some worship music and you start singing the spirit of god will fill you up and you will have those moments when it is so amazing incredible in your life and you're like wow that was so great but it's built on just opening your bible and just reading even if even if you're not in the mood and be in following god's commands even when you you're not feeling it that is the foundation that is the roots of our wisdom and there's so many ways to get that wisdom like i said you have to seek it out and in proverbs chapter one i'm going to read to you verse 20 and 21 wisdom cries aloud in the street in the market she raises her voice at the head of the noisy street she cries out at the entrance of the city gate she speaks but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease without dread of disaster and there's a whole passage there you can read it's amazing about how wisdom it's not just you know sitting there in a corner it's crying out in the streets saying come on learn there's so many ways and opportunities for you to do that and that's just how it is today there's so many opportunities for you to learn but you need to make that choice you need to make those decisions and if you're not doing anything that's a decision decision too and that brings and that's going to affect you because if you're not doing anything it's kind of like an escalator if you're not going up you're going down and i definitely want for you girls to experience how good it is to go through life with god and when i was a little girl my parents were really into making us learn memorize bible verses and then whole bible chapters and when i was a little girl they had me memorize so many things and kids are like sponges they have such great memories and i remember by the time thank you by the time i was we moved to america i was six by the time i was six i knew like the entire psalm 1. psalm 23 i knew all of the beatitudes you know like blessed all of those things i knew them all of them by heart and over the years they also made us learn like psalm 9 deep psalm 103 in lots of different places in the bible isaiah 55 isaiah 58 and lots of bible verses like that and yeah i learned it and then i got to experience what it is when those words the living words of god are living through you and when you get to get get strength from those words from the power of the name of jesus in your life and i got to experience it of course when i was growing up there were so many amazing moments and when i asked jesus to be the lord of my life i was i think i was 13 years old and over the years i grew in my faith in the lord and then um then came a time in my life when i met my husband i told you guys that and we got married this is uh we got married june 18 2006 i was in new york and then we moved here to florida that was such a great time in my life i was so in love with him i had just finished college moved down here to florida and part of it was definitely not easy because i had to move away from everything i ever knew my family was far away all my friends were were far away i didn't know anybody here except for my husband's family and i had just gotten my nursing license so when i moved here i had to wait a couple months until i transferred my license and you know then i had to find a job also i had no idea like i didn't know anybody who worked here as a nurse so i had no connections to somebody to help me get a job so you know there were there were parts of it that were difficult but a lot of it was amazing it was the first year of marriage it was awesome and there's a picture of us in our first year of marriage and this was 2006 newlyweds it was great so i got a job and you know i finally got a job and i'm working as a nurse feeling like okay life is great we kind of everything's going to plan and then we found out that i was going to have a baby so that was really awesome we were so excited and we found out it was going to be a girl we picked out a name we bought all the things we were setting up all of the you know furniture and buying all the all the all the things that babies need it was such an exciting time in my life and then i was i was supposed to work one weekend i was working night shifts and my husband was supposed to go and sing with his brothers they were singing as a worship team and they were going to sing at a camp i don't know do you guys still have that camp for the youth in like in the early spring okay so that cam he was gonna sing there so he was going with his brothers and i was gonna work that weekend well i didn't feel good that all that day and i decided you know i'm still gonna go to work i'm fine but i just felt a little off just not feeling well um nothing like major but i went to work and by the time i got to work i was noticing i was starting to feel worse and worse and i was just kept getting a little bit of pain in in my belly and since i was at that time i was 30 weeks pregnant i was like well you know it happens my mom is a labor and delivery nurse so i called her she's like yeah you know maybe you're having some braxton hicks and it would just i would get a little bit of pain it would go away get a little bit of pain oh you know sounds like pre-term labor contractions no big deal well i got my assignment started working and it started getting worse and worse so i decided you know i don't think i can even work it's getting to the point where i can't even work so i had to leave work i called my doctor and they told me to come to the hospital so i picked up my husband by the time i got to my husband and we're driving to the hospital to morton plant i was starting to have such extreme pain every time like a wave of pain would come over me it would get worse and worse and i'm pretty tough and i've i'm a very healthy person i've never really gotten sick i was one of those kids that barely ever even got a cold so i've never experienced any kind of health issues and we're driving down the road and i'm at the point where i can't even sit i'm in such extreme pain i'm crying both of us are like praying i'm calling my mom she's she was working too so she's talking to her other nurse friends and i'm just sergi's driving really fast to get us to the hospital we get there and so i would have these extreme pains and then all of a sudden they would go away get the extreme pains again sounds like contractions that's what the doctors and the nurses thought as well so i got to the hospital and they checked me in and that night was one of the worst nights of my life i was in such pain that i was like losing consciousness from pain and i don't even remember what was happening for the next two days and i was just in and out i don't even remember i was in such extreme pain i would like i was ready to climb up the walls and they would just come and check on me i had so many tests done so many tubes of blood so many different tests and nothing was coming up like what is wrong with her she's in so much pain but we can't find anything wrong so everything was coming back fine and then it came to the point where it was nighttime and we they said that the surgeon who was consulting on me said i'm going to take her to surgery we're going to open her up and see what's happening and of course nobody wants to do that because i'm pregnant but it came to the point where they can't figure out what's going on so he said let's take her to surgery we're just going to do exploratory surgery we'll open it open her up and see what's going on inside because the pain was so severe and so i'm in the pre-op area they're running a bunch of tests on me and i still remember they um they brought did an ultrasound they looked at the baby they checked the heart rate everything was fine and there's so many people standing around my bed it's late at night you know but the hospital administrator is there there's like so many different specialists i know there was a um a heart specialist the kidney specialist the surgeon multiple surgeons all of the ob gyns that's the the women's doctor then like baby doctors the bunch of nurses so many people all surrounding me and like i said i was barely conscious my husband was signing all the consent forms they were talking to him and my parents are so far away so he's signing all the consent and then all of a sudden i feel like i really don't feel good and i feel like like kind of like my body is shutting down my heart starts racing my blood pressure dropped and they were checking the baby's heart rate right before that it was fine and the baby's heart rate went up as well when mine did i don't remember much at that point but all of a sudden everybody starts running they are last thing i remember is them running through the hall taking me to the or and that's the last thing i remember what happened after that i was told by other people so they opened me up and they found that all of my intestines were completely black what had happened is something called mid got valvulus it's where the intestines they twist around an artery they block off blood supply so the rest of your intestines are not getting any blood supply so two days before when i started to have pain that's when it happened and that whole time my intestines were not getting any blood flow which caused them to become necrotic or dead they were when they when they opened me up they were completely black and because they didn't figure it out for two days i went into something called septic shock it's where your whole body is poisoned by by that dead by the dead inten intestines and um it's your your whole body shuts down so they opened me up in surgery unfortunately the baby didn't survive and they didn't do anything at that point my surgeon later told me that they looked at each other and they said this girl is not going to make it and they just untwisted the intestines and closed me up they came out and told my husband and he's meanwhile sitting in the waiting room by himself late at night and the ob doctor comes out and he's like when he saw her she was white she looked scared and she said we lost the baby and we're trying to save your wife and she left and after they discovered what was what had happened they came out and they put me took me to the icu and they told my husband we can't even give your wife five percent chance that she's gonna make it and if she does she is we're gonna have to cut out all her intestines she's she can't live without intestines so we're not really we didn't do any anything else in the surgery we're gonna do another surgery we'll open her up again in in the tomorrow and we'll see what happens so during the next week we had so many people praying my parents drove down from new york my mom and dad say they did not even stop to eat and from new york to florida here it's about 22 hours of driving they could they didn't even talk to each other they were in such shock and every time the phone would ring from my husband calling them they were terrified that he would say that i was god as well and i remember waking up in the icu i'm hooked up to so many tubes and i don't even look like myself they had put so many fluids in me and i had so many machines going and that week i had five surgeries major abdominal surgeries where they every time they would open me up they would cut out the parts of the intestine that were completely black and miracle of miracles because we serve a god who defies nature and they would open me up and some of the intestines were coming back to life but i did still lose three-fourths of my small intestine in half of my large intestine so it was a very difficult recovery it was emotionally difficult it was physically difficult saying goodbye to our daughter the one we were so looking forward to meeting we had to say goodbye to her and today actually may 21st she would have been 15 years old so all of those scriptures that i memorized as a girl here i was laying in that bed and i couldn't even talk i was intubated then i had a trach i still have a scar from that i couldn't read and you know what there was also a spiritual battle going on because the devil had different plans for my life and i felt the spiritual attack and my husband and my parents were with me my husband would read the bible to me he would pray with me he would turn on worship music and you know what's interesting is that the worship team today sang a song and about you know months before all of this happened that same song i kept singing over and over again for some reason god was bringing it to my heart and i kept saying i even remember singing it at work when i would get go in the supply room to get things for my patients and it would just play over and over in my mind and those words knowing that through the storm god will carry me through i mean i didn't know why i kept thinking of that song because my life was pretty amazing at that time i had all of my dreams coming true but i kept singing those words and i think it was a way that the holy spirit was preparing me for that storm and telling me that and like i said i i felt the spiritual attack and i could feel i actually felt evil presence around me and um during the night it was the worst i don't know why that happens but i definitely experienced that many times over the years that during the night there is such a war going on in my my husband in the beginning i had like two nurses assigned just to me because i was really um a really bad case and they were just in there all night long and my husband was sleeping in the waiting room and i was alone and for some reason when he was there i felt i'm sure it was because he was praying for me my parents everybody his family the churches those prayers were carrying us through and when he was there for some reason it was easier like i said i'm sure it was because he was fighting for me but when he wasn't there i was alone i could feel that evil presence and my life felt like it was right on the cusp of being ended and i could feel the evil and i even sometimes experienced moments when i felt it creeping toward me and it was creeping toward me and i couldn't move i'm paralyzed i can't talk i'm intubated i'm tricked i can't even say any words out loud and um and i even could feel the breath and something like an animal it was like a strange version of a human and an animal next to me and it was just coming closer and closer and i started in my mind speaking those words that i memorized and saying them over and over again and when i would say those bible verses that was when the victory would come and all of that would just disappear and i would feel at peace again and like i said that that whole experience in the icu was it was just constantly ups and downs and i would start feeling better then they would open me up for another surgery and and be so discouraged because they have to cut out even more and even more and then i'm trying to get better but i'm constantly having a really high fever and at some point they even had to give me some really strong paralytics because they were giving me like the full amount of oxygen they could but my oxygen was dropping and my heart rate heart rate was racing so they had to basically paralyze me so that my body could be completely at rest and that is how i celebrated my 21st birthday actually in the hospital paralyzed and i spent a month and a half in the icu then then i was on the regular floor and we celebrated our first year anniversary in the icu as well and then i started to get a little bit better and i finally went home that was so amazing i was so thankful to be home first of all it was a miracle the doctors couldn't even believe that i was getting better that i went home they thought for sure i'd be going to rehab and the gi specialist that saw me told me that you know you're gonna be on tpn tpn is where you have a um it's a more permanent form of iv where you're getting nutrition through the veins and they told me that i was going to be on that for the rest of my life because i did not have enough in intestines left and the ones the intestines that were left they were necrotic so they weren't even sure if they were going to be able to absorb any nutrients and i remember thinking wow that is such a huge change like can you imagine never eating again like going out to eat and you're not eating and i know that on tpn you can't live very long because it's going to affect so many of your other organs our bodies are not built to get nutrients through our veins and i was on tpn for a full year and it was a constant struggle to keep my weight up and constantly going back and forth to the hospital with central line infections because those are so easy to get when you're getting tpn because it has a lot of sugar in it and all the nutrients and fats that is like a breeding ground for infections and then i also was getting a lot of labs done constantly because my my electrolytes were all over the place so in and out of the hospital in and out of the hospitals like every month i was in the hospital then i'd have to be in there for a week and then get another central line and it was just god how much more can i handle and it was at least like four or five years of recovery but you know what i'm not on tpn and i'm not on any medications i'm eating so all of those things i it still doesn't make any sense to me as a medical person the doctors have no idea how i'm even alive and that's because we serve an amazing god and through all of those times he's the one that carried me through and all of those scriptures that just breathe life into our life they give us hope they give us purpose and they they give us comfort and when we have the holy spirit that is the secret to everything and to the beginning of wisdom when we are led by the holy spirit it's god's spirit in us guiding us giving us giving us what we need at just the right moment that is what gives you such an advantage when you have jesus in your life when you have his holy spirit constantly helping you make the right decisions when he's giving you peace when he's giving you joy when it doesn't make any sense and when he is giving you miracles and you see his faithfulness over and over again and in john 14 26 jesus told his disciples but the helper the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name he will teach you all the things and bring to your remembrance all that i have said to you that is what we have today we are so blessed to go through life with jesus and his holy spirit guiding us and giving us life and everything we go through our wisdom our human wisdom is so shallow when it doesn't have the roots and the foundation of the holy spirit and when we don't have that in our life then we are we are not steadfast and stable we are not like that tree that's planted by the water and we just um go through life constantly struggling and even when you things are going well when we don't have jesus as the rock then it's like you don't even understand like why am i feeling this way everything is fine and then other times everything in your life may be falling down but you can still say bless the lord o my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name this is the chapter that i would repeat over and over again in my mind when i was in icu my husband would come and read this to me constantly bless the lord o my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your iniquity who heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy and when we have those words when we have that wisdom then everything we go through in life like i said even when it doesn't make sense and things are pretty terrible then god redeems that he uses our story he's the author of our book right he's the one who writes the chapters if we let him and even when some of the chapters are dark it's not the end of the story and even those dark chapters can be some of the most vital in your life they can be the most life-giving and the ones that bring you closer to god and philippians 4 verse 11 says not that i'm speaking of being in need for i have learned in whatever situation i am to be content i know how to be brought low and how to abound in any and every circumstance i have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger abundance and need i can do all things through him who strengthens me and my life and my story it's not about me it's about god and how he used my life to write a completely different story and it's really hard for me to let go of control but i've learned that i have to trust him because when i hold things in control i do a pretty bad job of it anyway and so many things are just out of our control but when we let god be the author of our life then he can write a story that is full of redemption full of miracles full of joy and he when you're um looking for that look at that you guys this is when i was pregnant with my boys another miracle when i had those boys i'm still in awe of it today actually i still can't believe i have them for eight years we didn't have any children i actually didn't even pray about it anymore because you know eight years go by nothing happens i i thought that i wouldn't even ever be able to have children and with all the surgeries i had i had so much adhesions that's like scar tissue on the inside that they thought i would not even be able to have children and then all of a sudden i'm not feeling well i'm really tired we were foster parents at that time and i feel really nauseous but i'm always nauseous that's just how it is that's the stuff i deal with so we didn't even think about it and then i found out that i was expecting a baby i was already nine weeks pregnant when we found out and you guys should have seen when we told our families how everybody was crying and laughing and the kids were crying because they were terrified because the adults were all crying they didn't know what was happening but it was so amazing and such a miracle such a gift so we have our son nathaniel which means a gift from god and then two years later we had josh which means jehovah is generous we thought we were had such an amazing gift from god already in nathanael that god went above and beyond and gave us another one and it's so fun to watch them grow up together and i don't hear they take her for granted that i can be a mom and um the doctors told my husband that there was not even five percent chance that i would survive then they told me you're never going to eat and you're not probably not going to live long but god had a different plan and you guys this is amazing the person who wasn't supposed to eat is cooking every day and creating recipes for others i think that is god has a sense of humor too and i think that is so cool so i just want to leave you with the last thing to seek the lord while he may be found he's always available he always wants to get to know you he always wants the best for you and he has an amazing story for you as well so seek the lord while he may be found call upon him while he is near for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the lord for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my thoughts higher than your your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts my life turned out so much differently than i imagined it to be but god's ways are better than mine and he created such an amazing story and i'm so glad that he was the author of that story and he walked through every single moment every single hard day and every single wonderful victorious day when we were so happy and joyful and he gave me peace in the midst of the worst times so today we're gonna pray and i want you to think about that how do you want your life to turn out and at the root of it i want you to look for the lord to be your foundation and i pray that none of you experience what i've experienced but the bible the word of god is still active today is still relevant today and it will bless you in every area of your life not just in the hard moments but in the beautiful moments find time to spend with him even when you're busy you know some days i'm so busy and i'm reading the children's bible to my children and god speaks to me through that bible story and like i told you earlier you're doing your hair turn on the audio bible listen to the word of god because that is life and we're going to pray right now so if you want to give your life to jesus here's your chance because we're going to talk to him and we're going to ask him to bless all of you to give all of us a strong foundation so we can be like that tree planted by the water god we stand before you and we worship you today we are so in awe of your faithfulness that you are always there with us you give us peace you give us joy you give us an abundant life and we're so grateful that you gave us jesus you had a plan from the very beginning and you carried it through and you showed us in your word how to get wisdom how to have strong foundation that is built on you and i pray today for all these young ladies that you would bless them that you would bless their strivings that you would give them the desires of their heart and most of all that you would give them a hunger for you that you would give them a hunger for your word that you would bless their lives give them an amazing spouse who will be with them who will be a support for them who will love them bless their careers bless them as few in the future as mothers bless them in whichever area they want to grow in give them skills give them knowledge give them good judgment and in everything we ask that your blessing be evident so that we can bless your name and be strong in you so even in the storms of life we're with you in the joys of life we're with you and that we have your holy spirit guiding our every way we're so grateful that we have you that you blessed us with a relationship that we can have that is personal that is making us stronger in you and we thank you and we want to know you more we want to get to know you more we want to get stronger and wiser in your word and we are so grateful for this day that we're able to spend it talking about you and growing in our faith and marveling in your faithfulness and your awesomeness oh god thank you so much and in jesus name we pray amen it was so lovely to meet all of you and i wish you all of the best blessings thank you olga what an amazing god we serve and what an amazing testimony that we just heard and witnessed olga you're a miracle and you're an incredible woman and so one two three one two three um all the memories but there's a kind of love that god only knows what you've been through over every single secret so afraid if someone saw them god only knows god ladies so glad you are here so if um each one of you can introduce yourself a little bit more so the audience have a little more familiarity with you that'd be great go ahead oh my name is dudamela kushnier you can call me mila um i have a daughter i'm sorry ukrainian is my second language but i speak it first anyways um i have a cornelia and i have vanessa now i was right there in vanessa and i have a jacob he's uh going to be 18 years old and i serve the lord um i guess since i was five i've been doing ministry and i was traveling all through ukraine and even when i was like five years old five six years old my brave parents took me to estonia latvia and belarus and i think me oh look at me and so yeah since then i never stopped i served to now so yeah okay my name is victoria dadek i grew up going to this church i moved to northport i go to ukrainian bible church i moved about four years ago when i got married almost four years not yet um and that's pretty much it also serve in the local church there my name is nina harkowitz um later on when i actually gonna speak i will tell more about myself but the short version i actually grew up in this church and most of my life i actually live in florida i'm olga i hope you're paying attention enough to know that but it's lovely to be here and when i moved here to florida this is the first church that my husband and i were part of and still so near and dear to our hearts but now we go to another church and we love to be part of that church as well and one of the ministries that my husband and i were both involved in was singing so we were both in different worship bands and then when i married sergi i sang with them for a little while but then um you know as the years went by we started doing other things and one of the things that we like to do together is we would lead small groups connect groups in our church and we were part of small groups for young married couples and so that is something we enjoy doing together thank you so much ladies so are we ready to answer some questions we're gonna go jump into the deep end right away it's a relationship question someone asks i want to have a better relationship with my mom but she doesn't understand me what do i do and of course you may take the question as they come go ahead and think it over and just go ahead and speak up i since my daughter's 16 we had different times in our life and it's okay to have different moments in our lives and when sometimes we need that distance even from the ones you love just to prioritize your own views and your own opinions but what i want to say even during that time is just to pray and let god intervene in your problem because grown-ups we we like to talk we just don't like to listen sometimes but um we do like to to talk and i just want to say just to just give it some time and if your parents or your mom she doesn't prioritize that and if of course god gave you some wisdom now too to talk about this issue maybe to ask your mom can we just go somewhere for coffee or like some tea and just to hang out whatever and try to maybe you know be the first one to initiate the conversation and just take it slowly and god will help you through it all sometimes grown-ups don't have or they answer sometimes they're scared like i had some scaredness in me and cornelia where she had her own thinking and she had her own issues and and the best time for me was to pray and just to give her advice and she came around and now she's she's my best friend no but yeah just give some time and pray about it you ladies have anything to add well actually i agree with luda but we actually would like to add that sometimes at the age when especially when we are teens we think that our parents don't understand but not necessarily true sometimes as a mom or even older person we just don't know how to express even though you and your mom can be only 17 18 years apart it may be sounds not a lot but it's already kind of we live in a different timing and sometimes you might ask your mom something that for her at that particular moment and be shocking like what she's asking me this and her reaction her first reaction can be wrong i mean look to you like it's wrong but it's not because she does not understand you just because she does not know how to act in that moment so sometimes give her time and like luda said even if you don't see your mom like we always want our mom to come first and approach us and ask us let's go wow let's do this let me tell you this or tell me about this or that but even if your mom does not be the first one who initiates the talks or actually invites you to a date like that be the first one and do that don't be scared actually she will appreciate and she'll be really thankful and say thank you so much you actually did this i actually always wanted this but i just didn't know how to approach you how to actually come up to you and ask use it this a lot of moms think that maybe you don't want to go out with her maybe you're um yeah i'm very to go with her somewhere um because some of you maybe have older moms you know maybe you're the younger child child you know so don't be scared of your mom even if you see your mom keeps the distance she still loves you so much and sometimes she just just doesn't understand how to actually come up to you i would have to agree that you need to be proactive as well and growing up when i was a teenager my mom and i did not see eye to eye and she we have very different personalities and i felt like i was always really close with my dad and i could understand him he understood me but my mom i felt like she didn't understand me just like the girl said in the question and even though you may be very different from your mom that doesn't mean you you can't have a great relationship and i'm very very close to my mom i talk to her almost every single day and we we have you know we we're best friends and i'm so grateful for that but when you're a teenager there's so many things going on in your life and i think it's it's it helps to kind of see things from your mom's point of view and see where she's coming from maybe ask her questions about how she grew up and maybe that'll help to kind of clarify why she's saying things a certain way and why she has opinions about something because it might be coming from something that she experienced and just because you don't see eye to eye doesn't mean that you have an excuse to be disrespectful and you can still have a great relationship even though you are very different people and it helps when you can find things in common and do those things together maybe you can cook together maybe you can go to the beach together or go shopping or something watch some kind of a show together and something that just you have in common maybe you can go test different coffees together whatever it is but something that you both enjoy because when you're doing something together that just breaks those boundaries and it it brings us closer together and just keep building that relationship be tell your mom things maybe you don't want to tell her your deepest secrets or something maybe you know as young girls we're maybe embarrassed or we just don't want to talk to mom about it talk about other things tell her something that you are willing to share and the the more you talk the easier it's going to be to share deeper things and when your mom sees that you enjoy spending time with her that you are willing to be respectful and that you are telling her something about school about your friends something that you're interested in learning something and like have those shared experiences and the conversations over time you're going to get closer and closer and i promise you your mom loves you because that there are very few mothers that don't love their children and the the woman that is raising you she wants the best for you and just nurture that relationship and you're it's gonna pay off so much in the future yes thank you thank you so much and since um we're on the subject of relationship first of all thank you so much for such amazing questions like i have them laid out in front of me kind of based on categories and i'm i'm so impressed with what you guys are thinking about what you guys are all going through so since we're on the relationship subject and we just talked about mom parents we have some questions about relationships with opposite sex so there was a young lady who [Music] wanted to know was your first kiss what you expected it to be and then what was the biggest lesson from your worst breakup if you can share that if you if you have any words of wisdom in those kind of situations more than okay first kiss we do not understand why yeah do you do not speak english all of a sudden was your first kiss what you expected it to be and and maybe you guys have an interesting interesting story about maybe how you saved it or if you didn't save it you know maybe you have anything anything to share anybody i didn't have any breakups when i was um growing up uh i guess we we took that part of our life very seriously we um we of course i had you know a lot of gentlemen interested in me but we never like flaunted it so we never like took pictures together you know until there was a ring on the hand almost finger ring how does it go yeah so it was easier back then that way now i think um it's probably a little bit harder because you know you have instagram you have facebook you you want to show you know a little bit of your you you are so like um exposed and you share a lot of things done on social media about your life so when it comes to relationships it almost becomes like a thing you do you know so it does make it harder and then when you do break up not only your family knows but the world you created knows too so it has a double effect and my advice is just to keep that private until you are almost engaged really it'll just make your life you know a lot more better and um blessed in the area you don't have to deal with those major breakup but um i had a different situation with my husband i um since i traveled a lot in my ministry i i i guess had different offers but with my husband he didn't even notice me because you know so um he knew me like we were friends and everything but my heart i i was so open to him and i when i first saw him i was like that's gonna be my husband you know basically you know anyways and i you know i was like that's gonna be my husband and then you're wrong you know year one rolls around and there's nothing happening year um two rolls around dead silence uh his brother's getting married to my cousin and uh you know so we're still really good friends you know and stuff and we're keeping friends and stuff but and so i i was like you know i i was like god you know this really hurts you know i care for him i don't want to be a friend so i ended up like just just saying you know if this is not your will i don't want to have these feelings for this man it comes down to to that it's alway always comes down to you and god so i was like god you know if i you know i had a moment of failure and acceptance that i i probably won't you know that's not gonna be my husband so it was really hard and it was nobody understood me except me so and then that's when every person really needs to put their heart and their mind and surrender completely your destiny to god really because ultimately god just wants the best for you and he wants to um shine you know in your life he wants you to surrender everything even you know your relationship so as soon as i did that literally two weeks later he comes knocking at my door with flowers and balloons and i'm just blown away and he takes me on a date and i'm thinking is this like a joke like what is going on i'm so lost but with within that moment um we we kind of understood everything we didn't even have to speak it because i just feel like that was god's plan and god's idea in god's way i just actually stood back and just watched everything just come together you know and when it just comes together falls into place just know that this is what god wants for you so i don't know and basically we got married a little bit after that no very good anybody want to add anything i was just going to add um because sometimes you date people and you intend to marry them but sometimes it doesn't work out that way and i was in a relationship before i married my husband and throughout the whole time i always pray to god like god if this is not for me because you don't know everything all the time god sees everybody god knows everybody for who they really are and i just always pray god just if it's not your will just don't let it happen and even though time went by and it you know you can't you just learn what you can learn but um when god didn't make it didn't let it happen i'm like that's i just felt relieved i'm like oh thank goodness like i don't i didn't even feel sad you know usually people like oh are you okay you know i didn't even feel sad i'm like oh thank god like he didn't let it happen so it's not meant to be and i'm not even sad so that's just one good thing like the word of god says whatever um happens right happens under the will of god because we walk in his will so anybody else well i'll answer the kiss question we forgot about that so was it the way i expected no it was better so i will agree with that 100 uh well my husband and i when we were dating and then engaged we decided we're not gonna kiss until we get married and actually that is a great tip if you want that part of your life you have to talk about it you have to commit and because both of us agreed to it then it's like it was so easy i mean we definitely wanted to kiss but like when we were together i knew like we made this commitment together i'm not going to be the one that's going to be like you know oh let's kiss or putting on some moves or whatever so even in those moments when it's like very intimate and you're close and also don't put yourself into situations when you're gonna be tempted to like in somewhere dark or you're somewhere on the couch watching a movie getting close by yourselves like put yourselves into a situation where you're not gonna be um tempted to to do that more and we wanted to um not kiss before we were married because we knew that it could lead to other things and um and also because until we were married it's not a sure thing until you're actually standing there before the pastor and you're married it's not it's never a hundred percent that you're going to be together anything can happen so and also um after we got married and we had that kiss which i said was even better we realized whoa we are so glad we decided this in advance because kissing definitely lights a fire in there and actually did you know that to kiss means to kindle which means that you're kindling striking a match when you're kissing together and that can definitely lead to other things and we were so blessed that we were able to do that and i mean the first kiss was a little bit you know you're standing there in front of all the people they're all looking at you and i was nervous and all the things but it was still great and then later on it was even better when we were alone and yeah so my husband is a great kisser and you guys wait for that kiss because it's worth it yeah i i mean what am what amazing uh words and even a testimony right because when you kindle that relationship and that romance with the with a person that you're not gonna be with then that really that breakup will be that much more harder so god put those boundaries not just for to kind of sit there and say ha how is it going for you are you are you are you tempted let me see what this leads to right or let me see if she deals good with this no he put those boundaries in to protect us to protect our hearts okay so we have a couple more questions about relationship after which we will go ahead and take a break for lunch because i'm sure you're all hungry and then we can come back and answer some more questions because we have amazing questions here so there's a question that goes like this how do you settle or make a final decision on your spouse what if he's a great guy but there's a better guy out there what do you guys have to say how to be confident that that's the right choice after you're married there is no better guy that is your guy forever and there are no other options don't be looking around and if um i would say one if you love him if he loves you if you don't have any red flags if he is a christian guy who loves god who loves you everything else can be worked out so that's the main thing if you guys have the same values if you love each other if you ask god for wisdom and guidance ask the people in your life if your friends and your family your parents nobody's telling you anything about and everybody's blessing your relationship that's a big thumbs up and once you made that commitment that's it god it will bless any any um anybody that you marry you god will bless you if you are committed to each other when you vow to make this marriage great and then there's so many things you can do to make that marriage amazing so i wanted to add after i wanted i knew i was going to marry oleg after we were in a relationship i was questioning is he the right one so even you know us girls we do have sometimes questions because there's certain things there is no a perfect guy you know there is if if he would be an angel or somebody there is no perfect guy you know sometimes we women or girls we have a list and all those check marks need to be checked off the list for a great guy but ultimately he doesn't exist so when you are in the relationship there are some things like you know uh because he's not perfect just like you know you look at yourself how perfect you are you know there's things that everybody can work on and some things that you said are red flags and some things you learn within time so sometimes like for me i was questioning oh my goodness um okay i'm 100 sure but i want to be like 110 sure seriously so what i i did which was my mom's wisdom because you're so young i just want to say that your mom is one of the wisest women uh in each of your lives she wants the best for you so in in any doubt just ask her to just pray for you and ask her questions and she will maybe will answer some things for you that you're not sure of but my mom said you know you self time pray about it until you're completely utterly sure and that will come when you have peace of god in you when you pray and you just know there's just this overwhelming peace and you just know that 110 and and again they came with me over time because you know i had things i had to do and you know travel but whatnot but yeah it will come and you'll be sure and other things you know will come and you'll solve your issues and stuff yeah what i actually want to add it's in order to receive the assurance that this particular man it's the one i'm actually will be marrying it's comes through the prayer because what we see now that's really we see very little we only see the appearance and how he behaves um but i actually had um recently one young woman called me and she actually a little bit younger than me she already has few children and she says nina when i was marrying my husband he was one person after we've been married for a year he's like completely different now how do we gonna know how my husband would change in a year or even in the month we do not know plus like olga was sharing her life we do not know what actually god has planned for us in our life what actually we will have to go through maybe god has a certain ministry for us so what i would did for myself yes i feel i mean i know that we have to um like this guy he needs to look good for us maybe he doesn't look good for somebody else for my friend but he looks good i don't want him to look good for anybody but he's attracted to me that's what's the most important yeah he may be there's maybe maybe um hottest guys walking all around the church but for me he's he's attracting to me so um in order to receive to assurance is actually to pray and to receive the peace until you do not have the peace in your heart you still oh what if what if what not then this is not for you wait for this whole insurance from god now melis like said also about asking your mom mom is like your uh prayer warrior she actually the one a lot of girls like to ask their friends i would not recommend ask your friend say what do you think i like this guy and he proposed to me should i say yes friend at this situation is not the right person to ask mom will be the best person and she is the one who will help you to stand in prayer and to receive that assurance before you say yes to this man and maybe later today this afternoon i'll be sharing something what i have in my heart but maybe later on if god wills we will have this conference later on maybe next year i will tell how god olga has her story i have my story what god wrote my chapter in my life and then um once you actually go through something then you can see like i can really say that the husband that i have he's the best for me and he's the man that god implanted for me to live with and but any other man but any other guy i would never live the life that i live now but my husband he was the best support he loves me he cares for me and i would not change him for anybody else even if there is somebody better i don't know it doesn't matter to me but for me he's the best personally um for me and when i but right before i met my husband i felt like i was in a really good really really close relationship with god and i fully trusted him i didn't even feel like i needed to look or even anything and i almost feel like that's just kind of god's sense of humor too he's like oh like right when you think you're you're fine you're totally good on your own you don't want you know you're so close to god you don't even really care that's when god sends my husband and that's when i knew right away that that's from god because i'm like i just have like such a close connection with god and i just i just know like even like right when i met him it was kind of like right away i'm like oh no i'm gonna marry him so like i wanted to be alone a little bit too with god because you're just so happy you know where you are but god's like nope we have a different plan yeah just as soon as i decided i just let go that's when god's like oop there she goes okay no amazing answers but i want to build on that question just because we have a somewhat similar question and you partially have all answered it but it um goes like this so there's a confusing situation with a guy and i feel god telling me to be patient but it gets harder every day i'm not sure if he's the one either how do i know for sure and you kind of partially have answered that and what do i do i just think that if uh through so many people that i know um if you have problems when you're dating it's gonna go into marriage i mean i'm sorry but whatever you're dealing with if it keeps coming back that's not gonna go away unfortunately it will get worse when you get married so and if you don't have peace about it maybe take a pause with your relationship honestly the you know even prophets in the bible they had to go into the desert to be along with god so they can hear god's voice so even you know if if there's that one problem or two problems that keep rolling back remember when you get married they will be there so just you know maybe take a pause and just with your relationship and pray and then you will know yeah i would agree with that um when we're dating we all try to show the best part of ourselves we're on our best behavior we try to make our appearance look the best we are very nice to each other and if while you're dating there's already things that are issues and i would i would also say like what what is what are the issues um is it something like a character thing uh is what is it exactly maybe it's something that you can totally work through together um maybe for example he is going through like he doesn't know what to do um like with his career and he is very like that's he's struggling with it or something but he still loves god he he is very respectful to you but but he's like not ready to get married because he can't support a family okay and you're kind of like pushing on him like well you know we've been dating and um maybe you guys do need to take a break and maybe then eventually you will get back together or maybe it's something that you see like he's kind of very rude to his mom look at the way he's treating his little brother he's going to be treating you like that that's that was one of the things that i noticed right away about my husband is that he treated his mom so respectfully he treated his siblings really well so i knew you know he's going to treat me like that too and it's like i said what what is the issue is it something crucial or is it something you can work through together and always pray always like keep reading the bible i know it kind of sounds very trite like oh pray pray yeah but it's it's definitely what's most important and god will will show you the answer he will show you together and if not then maybe it's best to part ways and god will bring somebody better into your life i just want to add like you said depends on the problem we don't realize a lot of times nowadays people have pain killers or or some kind of a pop pop pill popping problems that are actually addictions now there's a difference between addiction and a problem of not can't find a job you know those addictions cannot be cured like you know only by the grace of god even then a lot of times we have hard times people go back i have a personal family tragedy in regards to a pill popping problems addictions that were not addressed and we did not see those moments those you know in life and it's a family tragedy and it ended really bad they were serving together in church a lot and the addiction was stronger and it ruined the whole life you know for everybody around and there's also porn uh addiction and drug addiction and things like this will not be solved just like that it needs salvation needs repentance it needs healing and freedom to really come those addictions you cannot um play around with you know so if you see any of that you guys need to seek counseling ask for wisdom from you know pastors or do not be in the relationship unless you are willing to take that burden because it will you know it's not you you never know in life but i would definitely not you know step into anything until those issues are completely solved do you have anything victoria or nina to add okay yeah those are those are really great questions you guys are um have the right things on your mind and when you are taking that um possibly a break or uh in your relationship or maybe you're not in a relationship and you feel lonely what do you do when you are a young woman and you see people around you getting married and in relationships but you feel lonely what is that waiting like um personally for me i i i feel like you just get so involved in ministry i literally don't have time to be alone because you're so you know always in church always doing what you can of course when you're home you're either in school or work you know doing that stuff keeping busy but just being just serving the lord and i feel like that's a really good thing to do in waiting or you know when you're lonely because when you're serving lord you're serving with others as well and you kind of just have that relationship too i also when i was young i was in ministry i didn't have time i actually planned to get married i'm like 25 26. there was no way i was gonna get you know married earlier i was just so full of life i wanted to see everything and do everything yeah and um i compared earlier sometimes that's that's what happens but yeah be in the ministry focus on bettering yourself you know in every area be what god wants you to be and everything will fall into place because that's what it says in the word living word of god so yeah don't feel pity for yourself just you know go do everything out there i totally agree when you're busy and you're doing stuff you don't have time for any nonsense and you also don't have time to feel sorry for yourself because you're living a great life and if you are [Music] just because you're going to get married doesn't mean your husband is going to solve all your problems so if you while you're young you have time to to explore all of your interests or lots of them and many times that's how you meet your husband because he is out there doing stuff too if you're gonna sit at home and not do anything and feel sorry for yourself you're not gonna meet anybody unless you know you want him to be like a mailman delivering a package or something um usually people meet other people when they're doing unless you're dennis [Laughter] package all the way to new york somewhere so when you're when you're active in the ministry when you're pursuing your interests then you're gonna find an awesome guy who's also pursuing his interest who's also working hard and serving god and because you have lots of stuff in common you're going to meet each other and also spend time with your family and your friends invest in those relationships you know go out with your girlfriend somewhere spend time with your brothers and sisters your parents your aunts and uncles and i have so many great times with family that you know if you have a great family then you don't have to be lonely and um sometimes when we're lonely it's because we have a void in us and jesus is the only one that can fill that void when you have jesus in your heart you have joy you're you and you are have a hunger for life and those kind of people are the people that other people are drawn to when you have that joy in your heart other people will be drawn toward you and your you know you you'll make friends and making friends is very hard um especially if you're an introvert sometimes like if you think of coming up to somebody you get all nervous but um meet people who you who are acquaintances of somebody that you already know like somebody that your family members know and try to put yourself out there and do things out of your comfort zone so that you can make those friendships and be involved with other people i just want to say not only on instagram and facebook be actually social and talk to people in church even if you don't want to just be you know like hi hi hi and they're going to say oh there's the happy girl but it's good so just just be take your first step what i actually want to add it's in the bible it says um i was saying in ukrainian i think it's very important for us as a girls to understand every season of our life so when our youth years pass and we're already married we look back as like oh you know what this actually happens to me a lot of times i look back it's like you know what i am actually really happy how my youth years passed because i could done so much work for god i could do this and this now i have kids so i cannot do this and this and that's yes i can serve in a different areas but this is the perfect opportunity for you to do so many work for god and for his kingdom for his glory and then you're going to look back and you're going to be so happy and you're never going to feel lonely because you're going to be so busy you're always going to be thinking how what else can i do for god what else can i do you know i still have free time here and there let me do this and like olga said and then surely or not there's a lot of girls that meet their future husband in the ministry god [Music] hi ladies how you doing um i know bob i think i have like what five minutes right to share um i do have i'm gonna anyways i'm gonna tell you guys a short way but this testimony it's um i thank you so um you know us ladies we we drive a lot on emotions and we sometimes like we let things take i guess get things out of hand and um when expression comes to our minds but um so i have actually i'm too actually to add to all i know she olga's not here right now but to add to olga's testimony i have my own where i couldn't actually eat and many of you actually know my testimony where i literally i became allergic out of nowhere to every single food possible where i had surviving allergy medicines and like the doctors they misdiagnosed me and even though they gave me all these tests they're like oh these are a real test but then um they told me i had to get the scan test done to confirm like these were actual allergies um which i was still confused because they already confirmed them and then so but at that point when they were asking me to do this i was like i can't do that because um in order for me to take the additional allergy like tests i was like i need to um sorry i need to basically get off these allergy meds that i was surviving on every day because with these allergies i actually had anaphylaxis if you guys know what that is is basically throat closes like these basically one of the most severe allergy reactions you can have and so i basically anaphylaxis to every single food possible like you name it i was like allergic to it so literally i could eat anything else 30 25 pounds i would quit i had to quit my job because i didn't think i would survive i had to go to school anymore and it got to the point where i actually couldn't walk or speak um i was that weak and i was just extremely traumatized by this that um i just stopped eating in general and i told them i was like can you guys do another blood test instead of skin test because there's no other way i can get off these allergy meds they said no and then i went to the hospital because i misused um an epipen um actually there's two of them and the first one was justify the second one was not because i was like anxiety because like i said um when i talk about emotions i talk about anxiety and anxiety it's really it's basically when um fear and terror takes over your mind and obviously you know my fear and terror was justified because you know i was scared of suffocating and dying every day like three times a day you know calm with my friends i'll call the pastor hey i don't think i'm gonna survive like literally every single day i'd be living by every single second of my life just like am i gonna survive this i don't know and you know but um the lord is faithful god got me through it and he told me actually what to eat like he himself told me what he told me yes and no and that's how i got off of these like allergy pills and stuff and um and then i was able to get my skin test done people were praying for me and they believed in full healing but then when the skin taste came back there was actually a few left on there um peanuts already was and some kind of an evangel allergy and then um it was soy which is a new one and i was like that's weird i told god i was like god i refuse i refuse to live with this allergy i'm going to see how this goes but i refuse and if you're asking me it's like how can you just refuse an allergy it's an allergy well guess what you can and with every other disease and sickness and illness that you have you don't have to live with that you don't have to accept it because that's what i did and that's how i'm here today i would not be standing here because doctors that rejected me and left me to rot and die at home so i told god like two weeks after um this past you know i was so i told god i was i was so sick of this of the soil allergy because soy is in everything and it's in school lunch it's in restaurants it's in sauces it's in breads it's and you name it everything i still could eat pretty much anything i was like in a very strict diet i was like god like food is very social it's like if i can't i just want to die i wasn't thinking of suicide but i was like god like um if i can't eat like i just literally want to just take me you know i don't know how else to go on you know i was like literally starving like obviously on purpose just because i was so traumatized i couldn't eat anything and so two weeks after this passed out the god i'm sick of this i screamed at god i was a god i'm hearing now in the name of jesus and that was the first time i actually hear like heard god's actual audible voice god doesn't usually speak audibly but it's pretty rare um so he's like you're healed that was like i told my friend this and he's like he confirmed that i was healed and after this it took leaps of faith leaps of faith and my anxiety though was probably the biggest thing that i actually had i had a battle with because every single food i took with imagine you were you know you're choking you're like you know you throws clothes into eating this and now you have to believe that it's not gonna do it anymore and that for me like after that i would be crying every single time i ate a banana or an apple or like you know whatever it may be i'll be crying my eyes out because god like i'm terrified you know but take a leap of faith and see the power of god is so alive today is relevant and because of because of his power exactly that's why i'm here today and he's grown me actually now i've seen you know multiple humans happen in fact god healed other people through my testimony so your testimony is not your own for other people as well god wants to heal and set people free throughout your guys testimony because each person has their own and so actually actually in fact i want to encourage you guys um jeremiah 1 uh chapter one verse six through eight if you guys pull it up i forgot my phone if you guys are able to do that jeremiah when a chapter one six through eight um yes so it says so here jeremiah he's young and god um jeremiah's talking about god like you as he's taught he's very concerned about being young and said god how can you use me i'm so young like i don't have any wisdom i have any knowledge about this and he says and uh sovereign lord i said do not i do not know how to speak i am only a child can you continue until in verse eight what the lord said said but the lord said to me do not say i am only a child you must go to everyone i send you to and say whatever i command you next one do not be afraid of them for i am with you and will respond will rescue you declares the lord so basically do not be afraid for the lord to use you because you can and if you haven't officially gave your life to the lord well what are you waiting for i mean for me i understood the lord since i was 12 but actually even though i grew up in a church i found church very boring my parents they told me like hey you know go to church whatever because that's how i grew up but i find church i found church very boring but then god met me where i was when i was 15 well probably less of your ages i was 15 years old and this probably came to my house she was like god's gonna get god's gonna give you the gift of the holy spirit i was like oh that's funny because i was in depression for five years so i was like kind of surprised and so the point is is that the lord wants to use you today and you're not too young for the lord to use you so don't be afraid so yeah god bless you guys amen thank you so much for wonderful testimony are we gonna finish on that or we are continue are you tired who wants to stay praise the lord god is here it's so wonderful okay um i'm not gonna talk a lot but i'm gonna i want to share the one video with you okay um i have a question if god will ask you what do you want today what question you will give to god i mean not not question i mean what is your desire what you want from god what you if god says what do you want from me amen yes everybody remember story i'm not gonna read from her from the bible uh when god asked the question the solomon remember solomon's story yes and he wasn't asking for um a lot of money for good life or good health he was asking only one thing what was again everybody say wisdom and that's what we are talking about today a lot about wisdom so we are here to get closer to god and not only be a beautiful insight but i think is important how we look outside too and may god probably talk to you also and whatever god wants to show you or tell you i just want to share the video and maybe somebody will take some tips from that okay may god bless you thank you so much modest and fashionable but it can totally be done for us as christian girls modesty has to start in the heart it's not about a list of rules it's not about legalism it's about us honoring god in every area of our lives we're going to show you some of our secrets for dressing modest and fashionable it can be really hard to find modded shirts right off the rack but with a little creativity you can make a lot of them work low cut shirts you can add a cami underneath you can add a scarf on top or a button up underneath shirts without enough coverage you could add a layer underneath you can add a denim jacket on top or you could put a cardigan over it shirts that are tight in the chest area a great option is to add a scarf on top shirts that are too short or on the edge you could add a cami underneath to add some length or you could add an actual layer underneath and shirts that aren't fixable just ditch them a good saying is when in doubt go without [Music] we think it's totally possible to wear pants in a feminine modest and fashionable way we found that jeans and pants with more structure tend to be modest and they fit without being too skin type we try to avoid jeans that have bling on the back pockets or that have tears and ribs up and down them we also avoid stretch jeans jegging jeans and leggings because these are usually skin tight one way that you can make tighter jeans more modest is to wear a long shirt that covers the rear area [Music] shorts are so short these days that some of them can be classified as denim underwear so how do you know how long is long enough even though it's hard we've decided to avoid lengths that show our thighs just like pants shorts that have more structure and shorts that fit without being skin tight tend to be more modest we like to stick to long bermuda shorts here's a little jeans trick that we've learned you can take your old jeans and actually turn them into modest fashionable denim shorts you just cut them off right below the knee roll them up once twice maybe three times and you can get the length that you desire there's a wide variety of skirt options out there from the ultra mini to the long maxi so how do you know what's modest and what isn't when it comes to skirts here are some things to keep in mind the tightness of the skirt and the length of the skirt we try to stick to skirts that come to the knee and aren't tight and form fitting skirts are an awesome piece for hot weather they're feminine breezy and can be easily fashionable we love dresses but honestly they're the hardest thing to find modest right off the rack with a few tricks you can transform a dress into a modest outfit that is so feminine and fashionable if the dress is too low in the front you can add a cami underneath and if it needs more coverage all around you can add a cute button up underneath you can also add a denim jacket which is one of our favorite pieces and if you have a dress that's too short a great trick is to add another skirt underneath to give it some length [Music] dressing modestly doesn't mean throwing out fashion dressing modestly doesn't mean we're ashamed of our bodies dressing modestly is simply valuing what has value it's time to set a new trend [Music] a video like this of course brings up a lot of questions a lot of things that we can talk about and you know what better time to pleasure rather than god it's all about having the appearance of godliness yet god's power is denied these are the end times that our lord jesus had foretold the day of his coming is near and so very close when the son of man comes will he find faith on earth there is a great parable of the ten maidens a parable with an incredible lesson will you be the foolish or the wise because there is no category in between oh sisters it is so good to be here all ten of us waiting for our lord's wedding i'm so thrilled for the grand celebration our waiting will be over and we'll be with their grooms forever let us away him with joy and excitement i realize it is late and we're all tired but let us be watchful and awake for we don't know the hour or the day may i say that perhaps our weight here is ludicrous and foolish perhaps our groom is taking his time and will not be here very soon why should we be in such haste and fear as if he is already on his way sister sisters our goal is to be at the feast neither this world nor us know how soon or late he will come meanwhile let us have plenty of oil may our love burn in our hearts and our light shine bright in this dark night for he will come soon why are we waiting with such expectancy you know it is so stressful to be constantly on edge it seems that our groom's coming is not as imminent as we think whenever he does come i'm sure that we are all prepared let us not get deceived sister we must believe that our groom is coming and he is coming soon we must be ready my heart is so heavy i don't have the strength to wait so long it has been a long day and my eyes are slowly closing this dim light is making me so sleepy let us be encouraged by the words of our dear lord jesus christ therefore keep watch because you do not know the day or the hour when the son of man will come ugh let him come already this night is so dark my oil is running low and i'm bored oh sisters the night is long and we are so tired let us not be dormant we must be alert and ready that our group may not find us asleep let's encourage each other how long should we wait what's taking him so long our light is fading and our oil is low i'll just sleep oh no please don't sleep this might be our very hour of the lord's arrival will he find us sleeping let us be vigilant and keep our light bright and alive our lord is coming immediately we must be ready to feast and celebrate we don't want to be late we definitely do not want to hear i don't know you for the door will be closed forever let's be vigilant for the lord our groom he is coming he will not postpone and he will be here soon oh i'm so excited to be with him then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to the ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom now five of them were wise and five were foolish those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps but while the bridegroom was delayed they all slumbered and slept [Music] [Music] [Music] and at midnight a cry was heard behold the bridegroom is coming go out to meet him wake up wake up he must not see us asleep hurry wake up revive your oil lamps with haste get up the time has come to meet our christ the banquet is ready and the feast is prepared come on let's celebrate why are you so loud there is still time wait where is our light our light went out while we were sleeping we have no oil what shall we do please oh please give us your oil to revive our light we must not be late but we must be on time we must not for we will all be at a disadvantage there may not be enough for both us and you instead go to those who sell oil and buy some for ourselves the time has come to be with our lord forever the wait is over the day is here and while they went to buy the oil the bridegroom came and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding and the door was shut let's go and join the feast surely we will enter where are our sisters where have they gone oh what shall we do where should we go their flames were so bright their lamps were full of oil oh why oh why did we sleep our light has gone no oh no the five have gone they're at the feast with the groom we're here all alone what are we going to do let's pray maybe they will let us in what if no one will answer then what what if we will be cast into the darkness forever what shall we do if no one will let us in we will be left here with our shame and guilt in this darkness forever oh let's cry out and pray that we can join the wise five and we can be with our lord o lord let us in let us in oh please we cry and we beg here we are at the door we made it please please let us in truly i tell you i do not know you the gates of heaven are shot and those who don't know me her name is nina uh mr orlando i live in the um in orlando with my family then we solution where we serve in a local church i was a member here um at this local church where we have conferences we're having conference day and um in this church i was baptized water baptized i served in the sunday school i was the kids choir director this is the church where i began serving the lord and serving others hospital therefore i'm grateful to the lord for this church for these people for the leaders of this church that they helped me grow to work with the girls at our church and i told this desire to my pastor and he blessed me and gave me the permission and we would just talk about different things that interested us girls but what the bible talks about it um and after that we would learn on what we can make quickly and deliciously with um with make preparing meals and god really bless these gatherings and there was girls that came they were younger than me that were my age and older than me and i had i thought to myself what if not only our girls gathered together but many other girls from other churches gathered together but i was only 19 years old then i did not have many resources and actually 20 years ago um there was not many slavic churches in florida as there is now to organize a conference for the girls in florida and she invited me to be part of this ministry or this event she did not know any of these desires that i've had that i just told you yes and today i'm here to give you a word of encouragement if the lord saw me when i was 19 years old and and saw my desires he heard my prayers and today is the day that i get is the answer to my prayer from 20 years ago god is a wonderful god he sometimes doesn't answer when we think his best is the best time november but he answers in his perfect time in his time and you know when his answer comes we can say god and i would like to encourage you all of you today that god saw me then that's the same way he sees you today if you're praying in your own rooms and maybe some desires that only he knows that about you and you know that the answer is on its way if you are discouraged and are thinking i've been praying for a week a month a year and still no answer with this don't get discouraged perfect perfect time it will come in its perfect time that god has planned because in the bible it says psalm 24 3 and everyone who trusts in the lord we are all awaiting the coming of our lord which category do we see ourselves in this skit it's easier to understand this story let's talk about how a bride prepares for her wedding you know us girl scott is created very uniquely and we um think about the wedding dress and everything that comes with planning a wedding music we dream and plan and talk about it with our friends long long long before it's our time to get married yes i can remember when i was getting married i saw in a catalog a wedding dress and i really liked it yeah and i was thinking i'm trying to look in different stores where i can buy this particular dress and i only found that two stores in florida sell this dress and when i drove and went to look they said that there's a there's a couple months wait for the dress and i said that's fine i can wait. when i found who's going to do my hairstyle um and my hair stylist came a week before my wedding and she was doing like a trial to see how my hair is going to be so i made sure i got plenty of sun so right before my wedding i wanted to get a nice tan so that i'm all ready for the day and i really wanted this particular bouquet that was in style in the day there was a like a ball of roses my mama and that time it was really hard for me to find the perfect pair of shoes so i went to different kind of stores stores and tried to find the perfect pair and same with the crown it was going to different malls and different stores and i couldn't find the perfect crown right until right before the wedding night back then and you know back then when we were getting ready for the wedding we did not have the internet like we do today and drive from store to store and now we just look at that on the internet and we order it and we have it within two days the process in ordering things has changed but the preparation for the wedding has not changed and to this day i have not met any bride that was not was kind of careless to the preparation of her wedding that was not getting ready at all the bible says that we are the church the bride of christ we are the church of christ and we are his bride i like the english version better and i'm going to read it be very careful then how you live not as unwise but as wise making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil um and what are the two things that we always hear at church that we we should be doing we hear that we have to read the bible and pray and we are so used to hearing this and we just think to ourselves oh it's just reading the bible in prayer that's it yes you know through reading the word of god god prepares us and you ask how much time when we read his word we can see it is that we need to repent in this situation we're not behaving correctly but you we would also memorize his word um memorize his word just as we heard today we can print out verses or write it out on a paper put it out in our rooms and i also want to learn and and live not to only say hey i just prayed today i'm a christian so i did what i had to do you know if we truly love someone and that is the same that we should be with our relationship with christ do you tell your desires and wishes to god sweet secret your secrets i remember when i was younger it is important that we as a church of christ came together we we need each other when we get together muslim hospital we praise god 10 of them came out to meet him 10 of them had their oil ale only five mala dostanuli had enough oil and five did not to which category do we see ourselves do we find ourselves in the five foolish girls that we're saying does god not understand me yes i have so much homework tomorrow and i still have to wake up early i have no time no yep i'm so tired i should just get some rest and maybe i'll go next time or do we are we like the five wise women that put in strength and to do everything that they need to prepare themselves yes [Music] and sometimes we don't have the desire to read but what's important in these times is to get up and sometimes even say god you know it's just gotten so boring to read your word and sometimes when i get down to pray i really have no words i don't even know where to what to say and when i come to church me just stuck sculpture it seems that i don't even understand the language i don't understand what this the preachers are trying to say and when the lord sees this heart that is open in front of him and you have the desire to change vintage he helps those that's why it's very important that even in those moments when it's hard when we don't want to read the word of god we don't want to pray we don't want to come to church written read the bible in a long time and baby has prayed but not fervently with all their hearts maybe has come to church or just i just came to to see friends we will pray today that god may ignite this fire in us so that this oil in our hearts will never burn out and this fire may burn more and more and more mullenstown let's pray for him [Music] is foreign is [Music] [Music] heavenly lord our heavenly father i ask you for lord for every single soul that is present here lord that the time that we live in lord is very unique time lord it's very hard time and it's a very dangerous time lord and i ask you lord that you bless every single heart lord that you bless every single one who is present here lord that you would bless for not just those that came to this place lord but a year i ask you to bless every single church that represented in this place lord that the blessing and the power of the anointing would be going to where they are lord that this generation of these people lord that they would be lord hungry for you lord that they would have this desire and thirst for you in the name of jesus christ lord i ask you lord that you would wake up every heart lord that you would wake up every soul that you would wake up every single one of them lord in the journey lord of life lord and the journey where they are lord i ask you that you would they would come this meeting with you lord that they would have this lord encounter with you lord where from this moment and forward lord the life is different lord we ask you the name of jesus christ lord the desire of parents the desire of ministers lord the desire that this generation these young people lord that they would find their place lord that they would find their place maybe not what this world has to offer lord not maybe this blessing the career of the plans that they may be built and desires in their heart lord that they would find their place in your kingdom in the name of jesus christ lord i ask you lord for every single one of them that they would find a place in your feet lord that they would find a place that before you lord in their life in the name of jesus christ lord this desire this hunger this thirst would burn in their hearts lord i ask you the name of jesus christ lord if maybe there is somebody who is not being filled with the holy spirit or maybe lord has not tasted you what it's like to have a relationship with you lord maybe he has not have received revelation reading the word of god lord i ask you the name of jesus christ lord that this moment would come that this moment would come in the life in the name of jesus christ lord i ask you that you bless every single one of them lord we understand lord we know living in this earth lord living in this place living in this time lord it's difficult lord there's so many influences lord there is so many temptations lord and i ask you the name of jesus christ as the father lord as a minister lord that you would protect these souls that you would protect in the name of jesus christ lord that you would protect from bad friends lord that you would protect from bad influence lord that you'd protect from bad information from social media lord from different things and friends i ask you the name of jesus christ lord that your angels would be surrounding these souls in the name of jesus christ lord i know that family is praying lord i know that the church is praying lord and i know these hearts they also have this fellowship with you lord and they maybe have their struggles lord they maybe have their doubts lord they have their down moments and i ask you the name of jesus christ lord that you would encourage them lord that you would lift them up lord that you would show your hand in their situation lord that you would show you lord that you will show your glory hallelujah lord we trust you lord we believe in you lord and that's what we want lord we want encouragement for those that need encouragement lord for those that need guidance and seeking guidance lord that you would provide this guidance for their life lord that you would give this lord this desire this thirst for you lord at all times lord oh lord we ask you and i ask you for everyone who is here that they'll be lied to this world lord that they would be sold to this world lord that they would have wisdom lord not just be smart lord but to have wisdom lord and that wisdom comes from fearing you lord from getting to know you for seeking your will for our lives lords that's what the wisdom comes from lord and i ask you lord that this information that was received here it's not just information and wisdom of people lord it was your word that was being preached today that this wisdom be in their life lord it would guide their feet they would guide their thoughts they would guide their decision-making lord in their life i ask in the name of jesus christ lord that you be in everyone's life and everyone's heart amen praise the lord is everybody happy have a good time today you know what that is you guys know what that is those sponges you know that to wash you know they're soft for your body they're also used for for your makeup they have a little factory here and as a matter of fact they dive very deep for those here in tarpon springs there's a lot of those here and that's what we are known for we also known to be called a greek town and the reason why it's called greek town because a hundred years ago when they discovered sponge ducks as a like a natural resource here they needed divers they would go into the water and get them and it happens to be that greek divers they were they had the the equipment and the skill to go deep into the water so they brought about a thousand greek men into this town here of tarpon springs and later they brought their families here so a lot of the community here in this town are greek speaking so you want a very special place even though i know you guys are locals so you know you're floridians right but where we live here in tarpon springs it's a special place i'm sure where you live it's also a special place but it's extremely special place here because we are the sponge dogs of the of the world uh capital of the world all right i'm sure you have also some beautiful places where you live but here's what i wanted to share with you before we pray for our needs you know the fact that we have only ladies in this place i'm think i'm the only male here oh sorry they are the lucky ones [Laughter] i know that one of the dreams of any little girl or any girl is probably to get married but let me ask you is that true don't be shy be honest you say yes why only married ladies say that what about those that are not married yet do you guys have that dream too no i got shy so i'll take that i'll take that and in any kind of decisions you know when i look at you guys i realize one thing it is very difficult to be where you are with your age and here's why because it is time in your life when you're little by little start to separate from your parents you are showing your parents with your behavior with everything i would like to be independent i can do this and i can do that and it's perfectly normal because you're moving into adulthood you're becoming independent you're starting to make decisions you're starting to see what career path you might take you one of them that i mentioned is maybe you looking to get married and you're thinking hey i wonder what it's like how's it going to be like and for any kind of decisions in our life the one thing that we all need is wisdom what is your career path maybe it's other things in your life and one thing that i just mentioned is marriage as well and the word of god i would like to share that is written in genesis chapter 24 verse 12. you guys remember a story about abraham who has a servant and he told them hey i give you an assignment i want you to go to my father's land and bring a wife for my son isaac it was very difficult assignment so he got those camels he got all these different things and he went to this land but here's what he does realizing how important this task is he doesn't just go and thinks okay i'm just going to go to this place i'm going to pick this beautiful lady and i'm just going to bring it to my master abraham and isaac's going to have a beautiful wife but here's what he did that i wanted to leave with you guys it's only a couple of verses but i encourage you strongly that you apply this in your life if you truly would like to have blessing here's what we did he did chapter 24 genesis verse 12. then he said he started to pray and his prayer was the following o lord god of my master abraham please give me success this day and show kindness to my master abraham behold here i stand by the well of the of water and the daughters of men of the city are coming out to draw water now let it be that the young woman to whom i say please let down your picture that i'm a drink and she says drink and i will also give you camels a drink let her be the one you have appointed for your servant isaac and by this i will know that you have shown kindness to my master look what he says here the first thing he does before very bad decision he bows his knees and he says oh lord i need your help and here's what he says that i would not choose but you show me who you have chosen for me that's one encouragement that i'd like to leave you and the word of wisdom from the word of god if you would like to have a blessing in your future life any future family your husband in your family this is what you need to do you need to bow on your knees and ask god to help you and ask god to show you and bible has very encouraging word that says god's blessing does not bring what discouragement or sadness so if it's god's blessing for your life trust me you will never be discouraged trust me you will never be disappointed let this be a lesson from the word of god for all of you here not just for this big decision of marriage but for any decision in your life maybe it's a career or something else the first thing you do you bow before the lord and you ask him for wisdom you ask him for wisdom let's get up on our feet and as our dear sister natalia mentioned we're going to also pray for each and every one of you for your future and your blessing in addition to all the prayer requests that you might have we have a few here written i'm not going to read them but there are before the lord we're going to bring before the lord and say lord this is my need this is my question before you this is what i need this is my desire let me ask you lift your hand if you have any kind of need before the lord there may be something very intimate that only you know you don't have to share it with us but by raising your head you're showing in a spiritual realm that you need god's blessing and god guidance for your situation thank you keep your hands raised keep your hands raised you're not doing this for me you're doing this for the lord he sees your hand but most importantly he sees your heart he sees what emotions you might be going through he sees maybe the details of your situation he sees everything if you feel that you really need that special prayer you personally we invited some wonderful ladies here that are moms that work with children that work with that work with youth die here today and if you have that in your heart maybe you are broken or maybe you're so discouraged like there were moments that you say lord i need a hug from you lord i need encouragement from you lord i need to feel you lord i need you really really really bad i would like to invite you to come here to the front and these wonderful moms and ladies they will hug you and they will pray with you they will share your pain they will share your situation and together we'll bring it before the lord i really in my heart desire that you would open up before the lord just like sister nina mentioned be real with him be real with him and say as it is it's okay to say lord i'm so broken to a point where i do not want to go to church lord i feel so dirty because i feel i made some mistakes in my life and i it's so so heavy on my shoulders lord i feel like i've done far in because in church there's many people and it's always being preached about holiness and it's always being preached about being perfect but lord i don't feel like i'm perfect i don't feel like i can fit in and i feel like i'm in a different place lord it is that moment tonight today for you not just because but lord he is waiting for you he wants to feel to show you that he loves you that he wants to encourage you that he wants to lift you up you're not coming to me you're not coming to pastors you're not coming not even coming to church you're coming before the lord [Music] you're coming before the lord and that's the best thing ever to come before the lord but just close our eyes for a few moments and think about it think about jesus you are very precious to him he died on the cross for you for me for all of us for one simple reason to take our clothes that is dirty that those racks that we are wearing in your life that are stinky that they are dirty and they are just have no value and he wants us to drop him off to take it off her shoulders and to dress up in his righteousness please understand in not your righteousness but in his righteousness he wants you to dress up in those beautiful white white robes not the ones that you have selected for yourself but the one he gave you that they were washed by the blood of jesus christ hallelujah those robes were washed by the blood of jesus christ and this is why they are so white white as snow you can come before him blameless not because of you but because of his death because of his gift given for you and i want you to understand something trust me in your life you will fall many times trust me doesn't matter how hard you try you will fall you will have those moments that you have failed you will have those moments in your life that you are don't feel like just doing anything in your life trust me you will have a lot of those moments and the word of god says the following words the righteous one he falls many times and he gets up you might ask yourself why is he called righteous he is the one who has fallen so many times why is he called righteous it's not fair he felt so many times he did so many different things but he is called righteous you know why he's called righteous for one simple reason because he did not stay there he got up he got up he got up and this is what the word of god is telling you dear lovely ladies lovely souls before the lord you need to get up no matter what [Music] and trust me you will never find strength in your own self you will only find this in jesus you fell and you get up every time and you ask him to give you encouragement and you ask him to give you wisdom and you ask him to give you strength only in jesus through jesus we can overcome well this music is playing we will take a few moments if you really need that prayer for somebody to intercede on your behalf you're in the right place trust me you did not put this data in your calendar just because you wanted to or somebody told you about this evening about this event that it was that is we are holding today it is because god has put this date on his calendar for you to encourage you to lift you up to teach you let's close our eyes and we will pray and while you pray quietly you're encouraged to come here to the front and here when i heard this word today thank you that you allowed me to come before you and have this prayer lord but please understand monday comes after sunday when it's old church when it's all seems to be great but then monday comes and that's when it becomes difficult because you're going back to your normal life but remember please remember i'm asking you i see you all as as daughters to me i have a daughter about your age and i want to share that really from the bottom of my heart remember come and always run to jesus it takes just a quick second i said lord i need you lord i need you and when you want to hear his encouragement you want to hear his word you want to hear his wisdom you just open up the word of god i know if you become so quick in this world that we live in everything's so fast find an intimate time with the lord that when you open up you might be i'll tell you how it's going to go if you haven't read the bible regularly it's going to be boring at the beginning you're going to read and you're not going to understand a lot of things but before you open up your bible i'm sure you all girls have those cute bibles with those little ribbons with those little decorations for your little things with different colors and all of that open up before you open up that cute bible of yours you say lord speak to me today and i guarantee you 100 ladies i'm guarantee you 100 when you before you open that word of god and you say lord speak to me i give you 100 he will speak to you maybe it's going to be just one word for you maybe it's just going to be one passage or maybe it's going to be entire chapter or story but i guarantee you i promise you i know this from my own experience god will speak to you it is that simple before you open up your bible you say lord speak to me before you go to school maybe on the bus to school or maybe late at night you put very nice soft music pandora or spotify whatever your account you might have i learned from my kids because i like spotify i like pandora better you put the beautiful music on their worship right before you go to sleep you pull up your cute bible [Music] you're going to be already in your pajamas or maybe in your favorite seat next to your desk to your to your to your bed or maybe some other cute place in your home maybe your comfy your what they call it snaggy stinky is that what's called yeah yeah one of those whatever that is you get into that comfortable place and he said lord speak to me i want to hear your voice tonight i tell you what you will cry your eyes out ladies you will cry your eyes out you know why because when god speaks you cannot hold it you cannot hold it it's so beautiful it's that encouragement it just kind of like touches your heart it touches your soul it touches your mind i encourage you maybe this moment and this message that was here today or this event i pray that this be a turning point in your life a turning point maybe you're already doing all these different things but still that would be a turning point for you they would come back energized and seeking lord as much as you can but it starts very simple like i said start with that moment start with that cute bible of yours start with that having conversation learn to talk to him i know many of you ladies they like to write journals that's another cute book and ladies possession it's their little bible a little journal and you like to write out your hearts oh my heart is broken oh i went to this place oh i went to that place oh i'm feeling this i'm feeling that how many of you guys doing that it's okay i do that too i know you okay i'm not gonna reveal your secrets keep it to yourself so do that to the lord i say lord this is what i did today this is how i feel today this is what i'm going through today and trust me it's beautiful because he always hears he always hears i'm very encouraged that you're all here today i'm very encouraged because i believe god will bless you spiritually and he'll also bless your future we will continue to pray i would ask you ladies maybe you already done that before you leave there's all the ladies from another church you can exchange phone numbers exchange emails to keep in contact encourage each other send each other bible verses the words of encouragement or maybe you haven't built those bridges that's okay we'll do it next time but find maybe somebody like three of you there three of you here i'm sure you guys have some kind of friendship i saw some wonderful ladies here all of you guys you're probably sitting next to your good friend that's how it works that's perfect encourage each other say hey this is what i read in the word of god hey i was praying and this is what god spoke to me trust me don't be alone always be
