[Music] every horse [Music] whatever [Music] praise God dear Church it is a privilege and honor to be here with you um I smelled the pine off the decorations yeah we need to use it's uh means Christmas is coming how many of us enjoy Christmas some of us maybe because of gifts but I hope that it's because we have received the greatest gift of all that is eternal life by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ so as we await for this time of Christmas we know that Christ was born and he is still alive amongst us and within us and therefore I hope that this word that I share with you today will be a living and active word of God for you to receive um it came to me um you know in an interesting way and so I'm gonna share uh based on what I see kind of going on in the world and how uh how the people like how people are in this world and what what I believe God is trying to do amongst his people uh how God wants to uh reveal himself and so um the first huh okay uh the first verse I'd like to share is John chapter 10 verse 10. the verse says the thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy and I have come that they may have life and they may have it more abundantly you can read it foreign killing stealing and destroying is Wrecking havoc in the lives of people here on this world Jesus also says that he came to bring life not just life but more abundantly you know in the world we live in uh there's a trend that people use a term called fomo yeah it stands for fear of missing out like um you know somebody bought a new car and you kind of like oh you know they have a nicer card um and so and so the trend of the world is you know I want to be like them I want to have what they have I want to do what they do yeah and so uh as we live in the world sometimes we tend to have uh this this kind of emotion come out and so and so um what I would like to kind of share is that is that we as Believers we have to actually have a fear of missing out on the things of God and what he is doing um in other words to not want to miss out on what God's will is for our life um [Music] the plans and purposes he has for us for our church for our families and so the life that we live um here on this Earth in this world the devil is actively destroying it as we know Solomon's Solomon Solomon talks about this that everything in this everything under the sun is meaningless and therefore if we strive after these things they are temporary and so Jesus though here he says he came to bring life and bring it more abundantly and oftentimes we um somehow our our mind prioritizes the things of the world naturally because we are of the flesh prioritized and therefore we don't we tend not to realize how great the things of God are the moment the the plans and purposes that he has for our lives particularly the calling and because of that we don't even tend to walk in that direction to allow him to reveal those things to us so my first point is that we need to change our mindset we need to change our Direction is instead of worrying that we're going to miss out on something in this in this life here in the world we need to believe and know that the things of God are far greater in the life that he has is more abundant and to have a desire for those things Jesus said in Matthew 6 33 is but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you and so here Jesus says that you know sometimes uh like I mentioned in my earlier point that we tend to prioritize the things but here it says if we change our direction if we if we uh go after the life that Jesus gave Alex um then all the things that we think we're missing out on he will give us what we need because the things in the world there's a lot we want to watch him but if we seek after God's Kingdom we will he will give us what we need to get through here here in our life on Earth you know I take this I have an example even from my own personal life you know I uh growing up even since I left my the house of my family for example um from my work from my work to my possessions my house everything that I I can say I have vividually and with with all of those things I can I can confidently say that it is God that that gave them to me he has blessed them for to me there is not a doubt in my mind that it was only him 100 him that I I am where I am and I have what I have today is because of the principle that Jesus speaks about here and therefore life's true fulfillment to actually feel like you are like full satisfaction is found first in seeking the kingdom and that fulfillment will come from Christ himself and we also notice that it says righteousness therefore we must also seek after Holiness and righteousness so again we as Christians must shift our focus and uh begin to walk they're to continue to walk in the way that Jesus speaks here the kingdom of God and seek after the things of his kingdom and to be laborers of his kingdom what does it mean to be a laborer of God's kingdom let's read from foreign Apostle Paul here says for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ it is the power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes first the Jew then today and so we see here that the gospel is the power of God of Salvation to everyone and then when he says and to Gentile it means there is no um limitations meaning if somebody is of A different race or a different person type nationality it there is no difference it's foreign salvation to everyone so if the power of God is in us what can stand against us you know light shines brighter in the Darkness and as I said sometimes you might think because the world is worse yes because we might think it might be better to stay away and preserve ourselves in order to to maintain uh our connection with god um but we are actually called to be filled with this power to go out and speak the gospel and reveal the gospel to the those people that are getting worse and when the world has more problems we know the one who can answer those problems we know that our God can reunite that family if somebody is sick we know that God can heal them if somebody is in an addiction we know the power of God can deliver them and therefore we by faith and with the confidence that the power of God truly lives in US must not only seek after the things in the kingdom of God and desire those things is to bring Souls into the kingdom of God when we appear in heaven before the Lord Jesus Christ the only the only thing that we uh he will ask of us is how faithful we were in his kingdom he has given us the gifts he has put put his talents into us he has he has allowed us to be clothed in Holiness and righteousness and therefore with all he will ask how effective were you with those things did you use your gifts your talents you walk in righteousness and Holiness to reveal to the unbelievers that the kingdom of God is in you and so we not only need to seek after but we need to bring the kingdom to the dying world today the kingdom is the king being Christ therefore we bring Christ we reveal Christ to others I want to share just an example from a cell group uh brother taras actually leads the cell group a lot of the youth is involved in it so you might be listening to what I'm saying today and say in theory the things you are saying are great uh we've heard these things hundreds of times but practically how can we how can we apply it and so with the cell group we've been going out uh we've been trying to go every other other week to um to a to a park or to some place where we can give God the opportunity to do exactly as I'm speaking of today um and so to reveal himself through us that salvation would come to the lives of people we noticed that as when we've been doing this um people come by they spend time with us we pray with them we we fellowship with them and we truly notice how the Light of Christ comes into the darkness in their life and after these um gatherings I have more and more of a desire to to be that revelation of Christ to others foreign and when uh I was talking with him he said that he was just riding his bike North on 19. and he was planning to go to a bar or something and get drunk with his friends and he said that something just told him why don't you go to the park instead is and so he turned around he uh I guess listened to his Instinct turned around and went to the park and he just happened to stop by and uh join us and when we began to have conversations with him you know he he said that it it's amazing how you know he came here it's like it happened for a reason even when you put out deleted he was going through a really hard time in his life he just had a divorce three months ago he has two kids and he he is also battling an addiction to alcohol and so when he was there he said it's it's amazing to be in this loving atmosphere and he even asked us to pray for him he said he is willing to receive Christ he wants Christ to restore his marriage he wanted Christ to free him from his from his addictions and so we prayed for him and what's amazing is he actually said that his wife not talking to him for three months she just happened to text him so he said that he he's going to work on rekindling that relationship bringing it back to life it's a ripe towards the end when we were wrapped wrapping everything up I just asked him hey you know how was your time here what are your thoughts he can you know I recommended you know hey find a church you know we're a Slavic church maybe you you won't enjoy our church as much but there's many other churches that as long as they you know Believe In Christ and the Holy Spirit you can go there but yeah I want to spend more time with with what you have here and I gave him advice I told him you know to read the Bible to to not backslide to if the holy spirit is telling him one thing for him not to uh you know to submit to his flesh but to allow the spirit to uh overcome evil desires and things such as that yeah and he even told me he said you know I don't even I don't even have the desire to backslide today I just I only want to follow Jesus I want to be filled with the spirit and I want to do what God's will is for my life is a is even more amazing to me as a youth leader he is I think it was Tony that was with me when he was sharing that testimony and and after he he walked away Tony you know awakened faith in him he told me how how amazing it is that you know in such simple such just just by simply revealing Christ and and preaching the gospel that this man was able to experience and share what he experienced yeah and so what I'm sharing today it is not just a theory or a thought Jesus has intended for us to put into action is do we believe that the power of God lives in us do we believe that this power is able to heal the liver and save souls are we willing to be Faithful Servants of God's kingdom not only preserving the Kingdom of Heaven that is in us but to actually go out and Proclaim and to reveal the kingdom of God with him and not only to bring people into heaven will bring Heaven into that person as well disciple people God has given us everything we need the question stands to eat are we willing to go out and be the people that Jesus has commanded us it's to be Witnesses of Jesus Christ in the Fallen World today so that when he comes back it's not to condemn the one but for us to bring people to Salvation so that they may be saved in other words if we know people are dying out there and we understand that Christ is going to come and punish all lawlessness his second coming soon and if the love of God lives in us then we must have a great desire to bring Salvation to those people that the devil has been killing stealing and destroying and so let us be those people church let us stand to us are we willing to give our lives to God after his kingdom and bring his kingdom to the people that are dying spiritually in order for us to be truly effective and the Holy Spirit truly lives in us the power of God knowing that there are people out there dying today spiritually not physically we must be be the answer to their cry um father God thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity the Lord to gather here today to listen to your word to praise you to Worship You Lord to have fellowship with Believers Jesus as we listen to this word today some of us may find ourselves worried about what we're going to miss out in this world worried about what's going to happen next what are we going to do next what are we going to buy next and Lord I pray that you give us a change of Direction allow awaken the faith in us to allow us Lord to desire more after the things of your kingdom to desire more after the things that you have for us to to have a greater desire for the plans and purposes that you have put into our lives Lord and not only to desire those things and seek after those things Lord but once you have filled us once you have given us and equipped us to be Witnesses of Jesus Christ in your kingdom to go out and be those witnesses to bring people into your kingdom Lord so that when we come into heaven we could stand before you and boldly say yes Lord I was that witness I allow the power of God that is in me to be that power to set the captives free to remove bondage from people that are bound to be to bring healing to people that are ill Lord Jesus we know that you came to do to do the works of God here on this Earth and when you left you said I will not leave you alone but I will send I will send an advocate the Holy Spirit and he will be with inside of you Empower you to do the things that I have done and greater things you will do and so let us believe let us take it with faith and begin to awaken in our in our spirits to go out and be those those witnesses to be the ambassadors of Christ the people that will shine the light and not hide it to be the people that will break the chains and not allow people to be Bond knowing that people are suffering in the world knowing that people are living Lawless lives we must we must respond with with with the gospel we must respond with the truth and we must we must love the people as you love them in order to bring them into your glory into your light Lord give us the wisdom give us the give us the Revelation to know how what and and how exactly we can be those people and I pray that you Empower each person to do your will and to be a revelation of your kingdom in Jesus name we pray amen uh you may take your seats I just have one more thought before before I get off came to me during prayer uh Pastor correct me if I'm wrong um when when the Slavic people were moving to America because there were prophecies that said that God would use the Slavic people in America and so and so what what would he use US foreign amen I mean [Music] foreign [Music] but here [Music] foreign [Music] baseball [Music] basketball foreign that's a goodness [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] I see foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] slowly again and again praise God it is good to be in a Living Church to serve a living God and to be a Living member of the church the brother shared about the example in the Park yeah I'm actually going to share an example of the same moment in the same day when I was driving home from work I had a desire I have guests in my house and I wanted to take them to the park to see the sunset yeah and I got home because the sun sets early so we said quickly before the sun sets let's go to the park so we went to the beach first and then on the way back just after the sunset we wanted to go to the park and so before we even parked the car we saw everyone there even the in the youth and everyone some some may say coincidence and what the word of God says that everyone is led by the spirit they are of God and I'm glad that I listened to the Lord I went to see the sunset and uh ended up at an evangelism it was an amazing day and I would like to dive deeper into the word of God of what was shared on last Wednesday There's an idea uh and uh it's uh to talk about faith what is a living and saving faith foreign and so there are a lot of questions what kind of Faith do we need in order to be saved in other words how can I be sure that I am saved it is a very important question whether you have a car or expensive or cheap it doesn't matter whether you live 100 years or 60 years life will and Allah but everyone that is born they want to be in the Eternal kingdom of God Amen and so in Gospel of John we read um these words Jesus's conversation with Nicodemus hurray another part says where the one that is not born of the water uh they will not land Spirit they will not see the kingdom therefore it is a serious question and my question is am I Born because if I am not born then I cannot be in God's kingdom I can be sitting in church I could fulfill the commands I could be a great person I can give great offerings in church yes I know all the religious uh requirements and I'm a very religious person yeah you know and I read the Bible every day I even fast twice a week in antithe yeah I pray but the question the question stands or is that Nicodemus if you are not born again you will not see the kingdom of God and Jesus even made a remark saying you are being a teacher of Israel and you do not know this is and therefore I wouldn't want anyone being a member of a church for many years and to still wonder if they are saved I was doing it or maybe we are evaluating ourselves with certain criterias that may not even be biblical to try to get into it is Jesus in Matthew 7 even mentions that people will come to him saying they did many things and healed and casted out demons and he will say uh get away from me I do not know you and you see that they you know being uh members of the Church of God being filled with the spirit doing the things of God and something just randomly happened no it actually is written there I never knew you is and so uh the things that took place may have been in a religious way but there was no true birth and so what are the what is the evidence of a person that is truly uh Justified and saved lives I'm not going to break it down in uh different ways but I'm just going to go exactly how John speaks about in this chapter the first question is do we have fellowship or do we are we filled with his word and his people do we uh do we enjoy having fellowship with with uh Christ people and with Christ yeah and so a true Christianity or being a True Believer it brings us into the family of God it is and so if we enjoy the fellowship of fellow Believers it is one of the characteristics that we are our souls in the right place and so sometimes it may just be the the um the you know Slavic Community just having the fellowship parties food um but what I'm addressing is that actual the work of God uh in that fellowship and then uh he says uh to the holy ones this is my desire stupid and the question will be do we walk in the light as he walked in the light and not in darkness is and so uh righteous people they they do not um go into the dark but they actually go after the light and they want to remain in the light with their deeds and therefore this is very important and the third question that stands do we uh know do we uh admit and confess our sins and this is also very important in other words without repentance there is no forgiveness and without forgiveness there is no salvation [Music] therefore because we have all fallen short of the glory of God we are all sinners and Fallen shorts there there's no one righteous not one and therefore if we all sin yes and people are not repenting and admitting their sins and not leave their sin [Music] then the question stands what kind of Saved are you characteristics the fourth one is are you obedient to God's word are we fulfilling the commands first John chapter 2 verses 3 and 6 the following foreign this is a very important place of scripture it shows that we have the nature of God in us and that we are a new creation in him and the fifth point is does your life indicate you love God rather than the world you know true Faith must be shown in works first John chapter 2 says 15 and through 17 says we see again that if we love God and God lives in US yes our inner man will naturally uh stand against the world in the things of the world and be enjoy time with God foreign how he was in a lawless place and uh being righteous himself he couldn't stand the lawlessness around him a a Believer a person um that walks with Christ he goes against sin he loves God and his commands and this is a very uh good way to test if we have uh true faiths and the sixth point is is your life characterized by doing what is right foreign [Music] of God they uh do they act righteous because they are of God and so our Our Lives will um show the the new birth in us what does it mean to do what's right and what's righteousness to do the things that are pleasing to the Lord according to his word yes therefore if we will say something we have to say and if we were witness of something we must speak the truth without adding or removing from it it is a characteristic of the fact that God's spirit lives in US yes and even if we wanted to do something that was not righteous symptoms would appear in us I will share how I see it in myself if I do something wrong my face turns red like a lobster it says it's uh it's a sign that something that my spirit is not liking and it's fighting against it looks my flesh is doing something wrong just services and so when a person is doing something wrong you can it's clearly uh not right then there's a saying like look there they turned red like a lobster do you seek to maintain a Pure Life first John chapter 3 verse three times foreign [Music] therefore there is no there is no end to Perfection and Holiness you must always strive to be more and more because the word of God says that if you think you know all then you actually don't know like you think you know yeah and so a person that does not know the father truly thinks that they are perfect and that they know everything is so John is showing us that we need to be just like Christy and the eighth point I'd like to share is do you see a decreasing pattern of sin in your life meaning that you're striving for uh to be Sanctified so I'd like to read from first John chapter 3 verses 5 and 6. foreign foreign and so it's actually it actually means that you will have a desire to stand against sin as a way of life and so a person that is born again he has a new nature nature of God so we used to have our sinful nature and now the spirit of God has uh taken taken a place in our life in our in our being said and so a holy life is not a hundred percent disconnect from sin meaning there will be Temptations and uh falling and the word of God actually says therefore many of us do sin Allah nutrition but we do not remain in sin but we go to Christ so that his blood will cleanse us and make us and that is why the word of God says that righteous will fall seven and get up eight yeah uh I like to use this example what's the difference between a sheep and a pig a sheep also goes through dirt right yeah and if it goes through there it gets dirty questions when uh when the Sheep gets dirty you know it cleans itself maybe looks off the dirt and continues walking because it's not it's nature to be dirty foreign the nature of God does not give us the the ability to sin yes maybe I said something wrong towards my wife I see that she got upset I didn't even think and in the same moment I turn and say sorry uh dear forgive me [Music] and therefore Believers they're able to say I'm sorry I repentance and so they stand on their knees daily and saying Lord forgive me as I forgive others and therefore we know that Jesus being the intercessor that intercedes for the sinner of us and not only us but of the world characteristics and so the next point is do we show our love as Christians First John 3 14 says foreign John talks about how we can check ourselves who is born of God came from uh death to life and he loves uh his neighbor John explains even more in chapter four just verses 19 to 21. foreign and I share this in one of our Gatherings but I'll share the start as well again my brother said in the sermon if it was your last request what would you say I would tell my children the following yeah children love one another yes if I'm no longer here remember that you are brothers and sisters and the other thing I'd say is to take care of your mother do you understand brothers and sisters the desire of God our heavenly father so that we would love one another this is how God's love is why do I love my brother because God's love was poured out because God first loved me and today I am filled with God's love because I am his child you know a sign of that I'm truly a living uh believer it's that I love my brothers and sisters you know if we feel like something is off in our lives we have to check ourselves maybe to say sorry or to uh repent in your sins even if you feel like maybe your brother has something on you even if you didn't do anything wrong is the Bible says to leave everything at the altar and make amends with your brother and so that means I go to taras and I say I hear you're upset at me forgive me whether it was like that or not whether I did it or not I have to say um therefore I have a very important work that the holy spirit is working in me is to make peace with my brother and so the Bible says when you're on your knees push shite forgive you know it doesn't say that the one that has uh done something against you will come today it doesn't it doesn't say that he will come and ask for forgiveness so many times but the Bible says when you're on your knees forgive therefore God's children that are filled with God's spirit they have the spirit of forgiveness even if they did nothing wrong and they feel like someone has something against them they ask for forgiveness I will go further yeah [Music] and the tenth point is do you check your um Faith um in practice first John Chapter 4 verses their children let us love not with words or speech but with actions therefore our love does not need to show itself just in words but also indeed is James chapter 2 verses 14 to 19 17 James chapter one 14 to 17. sorry sorry so James 2 18 and 19. and so uh higher it says if your brother uh needs something you say just go get warm and eat then you're not helping him if a person is in need and you are a Believer then you must actually helps one brother said when is it my responsibility to help someone you know it's an interesting response to this brother he says when I hear a need it is my responsibility to address this theater's answers of course by ability you know this is truly the mind of God this is the character in the heart of God oh you have a need maybe somebody else will help you but it's actually my responsibility James 1 26 27. and this is what the word of God says Living Faith will be seen it will be seen in the fruit of the of the the fruit will be of faith foreign the question you know my my faith is new and so um I don't see the fruit that I would like to see so am I really born again and so I would like to uh make this one point uh so that you don't have doubt uh before we go home the word of God speaks to us about spiritual growth Galatians chapter 4 verse 1 says the following is foreign um Galatians 4 says what am I saying as long as the air is underage he is no different from a slave although he owns the whole estate what does this tell us yes if a child is born again meaning a child of God um and uh year 2 3 10 go by and the child does not grow then it's hard to uh give an estimate that growth was ever there even though there are signs of Life some people are spiritually ill or not fully um yeah not fully stable pretty much and so it's it's bigger a topic for another time but the question that stands is are we truly children of God yeah and so shortly I would like to share just a couple of points so we have a conclusion three uh steps of Salvation passion first is salvation from sin foreign therefore we step into the kingdom of God into eternal life is and so the question stands if you are born of God can you be born 10 20 times or are you just born of God and so another question is if you were a child of God and you fell do you automatically become a child of the devil no me no and some preachers might say it's one saved always saved yes if we talk about the aspect from being born again then it's true and so when if a person is born once then that birth is to the end of life if you were born then you were born if you aren't born then you need to be born in order to Born Again In order to be in God's kingdom Allah but uh this phrase doesn't actually apply uh to the to Salvation in general especially uh Salvation in which being born again it gives us Assurance to Salvation this does not come from our Good Deeds a holy life or um being merciful let's say yeah but it is only the work of the Holy Spirit through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ meaning it's the Lord's work um a short example from the thief on the cross it's native and so the thief all he had to do was recognize his sin repent from it and accept Jesus as the savior and this is all we need for salvation I think this is very important for us to remember it's not our Deeds because the thief on the cross received salvation there's the second step to Salvation And so if the thief was was to come off the cross he would have to go into the second step is and so because he was on the cross he didn't have to look forward to baptism or walking in a life filled with the Holy Spirit or to doing things for God says and therefore we don't step into um just overcoming a victory over sin but it's a life of victory over sin meaning we are no longer slaves to sin but we actually are able to serve God if and therefore in that process when someone asks questions means actually are you free from sin yes if you are free from sin from the bondage of sin or the yeah the bondage of sin on you then you can say comfortably that you are saved and therefore it is a process this is a process of a battle between the flesh I will share this one thought that is not very pleasant for us by being born again our character or nature does not change foreign and so we must not just uh Proclaim these words saying yes I am saved I'm I victory over sin and and try to convince yourself that you have that rather actually put it into action and live a life Victorious over sin yeah and I won't go into the characteristics but I would like to share the last step of Salvation this is salvation and Eternity meaning salvation from our sinful flesh this is Mercy hospital and so when that separation comes happens from the flesh then my soul will then be with with God this is the the the type of uh Salvation or the final salvation in which we are all striving foreign and so the prayer should be that until I am glorified with you in that final step of salvation of separation from my flesh let me live a life here for you and those of us that are born again but we are still a babe for us to grow and mature and to be that spiritual mature believer uh living for Christ and I invite us all together to pray your underneath foreign [Music] [Applause] foreign foreign foreign [Music] [Music] foreign foreign foreign um track s which is stuff no
