us we heard that gospel from some missionary for some people it was their parents for somebody it was maybe their friends but it was those missionaries that brought the gospel to us and today we have such service today we will be reading the word of God and we will come into prayer and in Colossians chapter 3 we we read 16 through 17 you know here on Sunday today we only here for two hours and the word of God is inviting us to praise him is to encourage one another but we came with the things that we were doing for the past six days where the did we worship him whatever you were doing during this time will we glorify him with our words and with our actions and if we did when we come here we are immediately full of joy to to to worship him you know I had a conversation with one man and he said you know I come to church as I like and he says you know God he looks at the heart we had a wonderful conversation together but I reminded him it says the word of God says that you need to glorify and worship him with your actions with your life with the way you dress with everything and when we live as such the entire week and then when we come on Sunday with the with the Pure Heart with the pure lips we will come and worship him and it's very important because through our holy life this is the true mission that the gospel is being preached to our Liv this is how the light that we're going to have two parts of our service today first we're going to be praying for children so brother of Vlad and mariaa want to bring Benjamin before the Lord we invite you please come to the front and sit at the front he has a very beautiful name Benjamin you know on the $100 bill it has a picture of Benjamin Franklin he was a very God-fearing man and I desire in your family that you guys your Benjamin would also grow into very you know I'm going to be reading the word of God and first I want to speak to all of you and to myself and to the families and the theme of my sermon will be our reaction to things that upset us the most important thing I want you to remember you know we're not responsible for those that harm us or upset us but we're responsible for the action we take I'm reading Psalm chapter 55: 13 to 15 listen carefully to the word of God I also read want to read the Epistle of Paul to Ephesians I want to read chapter 4: 26-32 [Music] BL [Music] for amen you know very often people upset us and you know sometimes even we do something to upset somebody else and it's the most difficult to handle that when somebody upsets you either in the church or at home you know when it's at work it's a little bit easier to handle but when it's at church or at home it's a lot more and you know very interesting I was reading about King David he went into the house of God and he was praying to God with these words Lord they have upset me and if this was my enemy or my neighbor I would be able to handle it but the one that upset me is the one that I go to the house of God the one who we had fellowship with and that was the most difficult thing for David to handle and you know sometimes in our families we we have certain misunderstandings and it can cause somebody to get [Music] upset and when you see the ones that are offended are hurt more than the one that was the offender and you know you think it's not fair somebody offended me you know somebody was unjust to me and I have to forgive them I have to forget you know that's not fair that's not just but listen to me very carefully you know unforgiveness that's that's evil that eats out your spirit and why Apostle Paul the one that knew nothing about medicine but he said don't let the sun fall with with your anger you know the doctors and Medicine says the person that goes to sleep offended [Music] or they trap in their mind or in their emotion this offense and this is very bad for their organism and you know it says 85% of the sickness goes because of unforgiveness a and that's a big problem I know in our families we have problems and that's normal but you we must learn in the problems to solve the problems One Pastor was sharing that his wife filed for divorce and he turned to his brothers and said Brothers help me solve the problem in the family he inv he invited the the ministers the brothers to come to his home and his wife turns and speaks with them she said you're not the Authority for me he's told me this and this about you that you know you're no Authority for me you know there's times like this sometimes is that not true and how important is it to solve the problem that that's in our family or in our church you know forgiveness it's not an emotion it's a decision I decide I will forgive you know before you go to sleep it's very important you forgive a good friend of mine a pastor one said he said I got an argument with my wife we went to sleep and in the bed she rolls to one side I roll to the other [Music] side you know God forbid I would to touch her body right right away she would roll away from and they pulled the blanket on one another she pulls it to her side he pulls it to his side but it's a lot better in a family when with the blanket you cover her and she covers you never go to sleep when you are offended or come and tell one another why are you offended why are you angry and forgive one another I want to tell a very interesting example from the Bible you know when King David wanted to take the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem and and this woman she was not with him you know his wife she was in the window looking at this whole process and when David came into the house and she said very very poor words to him and this historically changed her whole life it was very bad for in that time you know if you look at it David wasn't he wasn't right in his he he put her down he said your father your family God put me above them you know it put her down listening to this and this created a big scandal in their home you know she didn't have any more children another woman took but maybe she was the one that was supposed to have the her son be the king of is but another woman took her place because in the home there was a big listen very carefully I want to tell you about this woman you know her father promised to give um to Wed her older sister but he did not keep his word and then David comes a very beautiful young man he was a musician he would sing he was the national hero of Israel they sung songs about him it was very easy to love him and it's written that MH loved David but my question is did David love her I think David did not love her when Nathan came to David he did not even ask how is my wife Mila but you know she risked her life and saved her and you remember the story when she put some someone else in the bed and she saved [Music] David and imagine that tragedy in the home where you're you're standing in between your husband and your father and very often those situations happen in families she she suffered because of that but David had his own life and when David was running away from Saul they they gave MH away to and when David came back to Jerusalem and said bring her back to my home but the woman the man she married he loved her very much when they were taking her away from his home cry he was weeping going after her screaming bring her back bring her back and and the commander said if you don't turn away we will kill you and who knows maybe that woman loved her husand they bring her back into the king's palace and this tragedy ends with the scandal in the that one Scandal destroyed the whole family but listen to me very carefully the most important thing I want to say what was the big difference between M and David David wasn't one of those good men or people I don't think he he didn't want to put Saul down because he loved he didn't want to kill Saul because he honored the anointing that was on S because he was an evil man he he killed a lot of people he poured a lot of blood but I don't really see where his wife comes to the house of the Lord of Praise she carried everything in her she carried those burdens but David would go to the house of the Lord and if you read him Psalms he always says Lord I have come Lord I I'll wake up early I'll come to you Lord I ask you have mercy on me and he tells all those things to God and this Psalm I read it says those words do every one of us go to this prayer like do we pray like David we say Lord somebody upset me offended me my husband my wife chur you can even name the names of the ones that offend you I don't know if many of you have done that but very often will'll say God you're great protect me you know be be merciful to me but others judge them and I want to finish my sermon with how I [Music] started we are not responsible for the actions of the ones that offend us but we are responsible for the actions of how we respond to that offense because very important we suffer because the offended go to sleep but we don't go to sleep so may God help every one of us in our problems in our worries in our offense to come before the Lord and tell him and be very careful to your wife and your husband you know whatever they say that means that's what they're thinking because that's how the situation has I don't think David's wife wanted to put him down she respected his authority and she loved to see David and she said that and then all her life she regretted it so be very careful may the Lord help you build a good family we'll have a prayer for Benjamin I invite the father and the mother to come up here to the front we will stand to our feet for the prayer first brother Vlad then sister Maria and then we'll finish with the the church and Pastor Lord father we thank you Jesus for Benjamin that you've given us you given us a son father we thank you for uh the pregnancy that went really well we thank you for the delivery and the healthy son Lord thank you for uh the blessing that you've given us and their family and we pray that you continue to bless us and continue to BL Benjamin and all of our children Lord continue to help them grow and be healthy and to grow up and serve you and be in serve us here today in the service and then later tonight as well so we invite you all I remind you on Monday at 7:30 p.m. we have a prayer we fast and pray for Israel and Ukraine that the Lord would stop the war on Wednesday we have a midweek service at 7:30 p.m. as well as on Sunday our service starts at 11:00 a.m. but at 10:30 a.m. we start we start in the conference room with a prayer I'm rejoicing that there's already more of us Gathering there so we invite everybody especially if you're serving to come beforehand for the prayer and next Sunday we'll have a guest who will be serving Us in the church and then after the service we'll have a members meeting and so we just invite you all to come April 14 and I want to remind you that our classes for water baptism start next Sunday April April 14th so you have the opportunity to sign up please go up to brother Tas bosski he is in charge of those classes so you could register we could make a group and then we'll send out all the information to you as well you know uh my daughter Ruta she said she has a desire to be water baptized and you know me and my wife are looking at it at each other we're like it's already time I I would think maybe she should get water baptized already but we understand we can't push her this has to be born inside of her and you know we we we started to worry a little bit when is is she going to do this already you know it's already time you know we were praying and and she shared that desire so young people if you're at that moment and you want to serve the Lord with all all your heart and all your life it's an amazing opportunity to do this I want to ask the whole room does anybody regret that they gave their life to Jesus never EXC I don't see anyone excited are you rejoicing that you're are rejoicing you made that your life are you rejoicing he is the Lord of your life see this is a person that experienced the Lord we all need this brothers and S so our children looked at us me and I have a question for you do you remember who is the First Missionary during the life of Jesus Christ Samaritan woman at the well she was the first missionary she had a meeting with Christ and she realized he was the Messiah she didn't keep that inside of her she ran to tell all people that news and people received that missionary service and they came to a meeting with Christ and then they said not by Your Word we believe we see oursel that he is the Messiah another Min missionary within the time of Jesus Christ you know when Jesus came to the Sea of ganar and came a man who was um oppressed by demons he was free Jesus freed him he became a free man and that made people afraid and they asked Jesus to leave that place because the the pigs the swine they all drowned and that man said Jesus Lord let me follow you and Jesus said go and tell others what I have done for you and the next time when Jesus came to that place the whole city came together to have a meeting with Jesus Christ you know in the city of adessa in 1988 we celebrated the Thousand Year um of the country of Russia the Thousand-Year celebration it was in a park I think there was more than 10,000 people there maybe somebody from the older generation was there at that service and of course we didn't have permission from the authorities but we preach Jesus Christ to people who have never heard of that our group of evangelists served in that Ministry after that service many brothers sisters even ministers began to invite our group to minister and do something similar in their place you know praise the Lord the Lord allowed me to continue to minister for three years but that group of evangelist stayed there we met very a lot of different people when we came to do this uh Evangelistic Ministry sometimes we would come to a place where there was an orthodox church and when we would come into the building and we saw in the very front sat a a pope or a father a minister of the Orthodox and him self just with his with his presence he was protesting but the lord gave us wisdom what to do and the first song We sang was our Father in heaven or the father The Father's prayer this and the father was one of the very first ones to and in his all his dress clothes with his reaction and everyone else seeing him stand up they all stand up as well the next song We s sang was about faith and the same way the father would stand up and everyone with him that was a victory you know I could share many testimonies and I want to share one more story when me and my group we were going to the city of denes so that we didn't have to put our suits in our suitcases we dressed up in our suits as we were flying how we would go to service and we had a little symbol that said South Ukrainian missionary you know when we would sit in the plane people would be very interested who are we what do we do you know a few of them would listen very very carefully but most of them they would just laugh at us the Lord saw that and he created circumstances where people would listen to us very carefully for two and a half hours but it it was already after the flight but we would stay in the airplane when our plane would begin to land and you know I would fly to that City very often and I knew as soon as we would land I would see the building of the airport but this time I saw we're still flying in the air and the buildings already passed us by all of a sudden I knew something was wrong and all of a sudden the plane goes down very quickly and the front wheel hit the ground very hard it jumped up and one more time it hit the ground very hard and in that moment the very front of the plane broke you know the wheel in the front was broken off so we were just dragging across the ground and we went all the way to the end all the way to the into the trees and in the plane it was quiet and you know people began to whisper very quietly and then some began to ask questions but nobody laughed anymore and they said Brothers we see that now your God saved even us because you are here they said we want to know that same God that you know of course we preach to everyone and after the service we'd have an opportunity to share with people talk with them you know we even had to speak with some satanists atheist sorry atheist and I want to read a short verse I know on this topic for my dear brothers and sisters we are born from Jesus Christ from the Holy Spirit and you know our goal is to leave a light for the world you know like brother vasili said to shine at the feet and not in their face and this spending the past few months at in Jacksonville for Slavic missionary Bible school and one of the main um reasons for this school is it's a missionary School and this is the team that they have selected to go to Guatemala this is Milana David Sam Lucas and ruin and me and um basically as we go on this Mission um the main things that we're going to be doing um is we're going to be building churches we're going we're also just going to be sharing the love of God to all the [Music] people we're going to be in the mountain Villages so we're going to be visiting multiple things like kids ministry orphan Ministry and right now now our team we're going to sing two songs and the first song it's How Great Thou Art and that's like our song it kind of like reflects like why we're here why we're doing this why we're giving our lives to preach the gospel simply because God is great and he is worth [Music] oh Lord my God when I in awesome Wonder [Music] I see the stars I hear The Rolling team members Sam is going to share a testimony for good morning church um my name is Sam nuk I Am from Lexington Kentucky samuk is Lexington Kentucky um I want to share my testimony today from smbs and What the Lord Has Done For Me could the Lord has greatly impacted my life I've received so many words of knowledge and I've met so many lifelong friends um in this time in smbs on Mondays we do this thing called Outreach and that can vary from either prayer or we go out and evangelize to people my but my favorite thing is um Outreach to children that live in poverty we go out to um various apartments and bad neighborhoods and we spend time with them and we share the word to them and we tell them about Jesus for me that has to be a highlight for smbs and also um just the spiritual power that I've gained from smbs and my life is changed forever from smbs I had my ups and downs but right now I am so on fire for God and with my amazing team and every day it just increases more and more I have the great opportunity and great team to get to go on missions to Guatemala and after missions my plan is to go home and serve my church but if the Lord calls me I will serve in missions um church I want to tell you that dedicating your life to Christ and serving God is a great journey of faith and purpose and committing to this path you're not only embracing Eternal salvation but you're also becoming a vessel of love and compassion and also positive change to the world and I want to remind you that this dedication can Inspire others and your life is a testimony to others in his grace so through your service may you touch hearts and transform lives and bring glory to God God bless you all thank you praise be to the Lord dear Church 1 too I would like to invite our team here to the led very much seek first the kingdom of God and we will be sharing about the kingdom of God with others the orphans the kid children you know we not only seeking or need assistance uh Financial but you do do it as it is to unto Christ not to a person as we continue this missionary service we we understand what is a mission a mission is God is sent sending somebody to do a particular task a missionary is a person who does what he been told to or delegated to I have a question but I'm not going to ask it right now but the question that I'll ask a little later you know raise your hand if you consider yourself a missionary a missionary person is a person who is following the commands that he was told or Mission I see Dan in the back he's sitting behind the um engineering sound what are they doing they are doing things that they were delegated to you know Brothers back in in in the back and Cornelia who you know take walks around takes photographs you are missionaries you have been given some kind of work to do we have we want to I want us to understand this in our life and when God sends us or we are doing something we are the ones who should fulfill it and when we fulfill it we are the missionaries we are carrying the mission that was given to us today we were praying for a little child i' would like to say brothers and sisters when God sends a child into a family he's giving you a delegation or some a mission you are becoming a missionary in your home you have a command to raise his child in the fear of the Lord in your family and then I want to ask this question again raise your hand if you consider yourself a missionary you know I see hands but I don't see everyone it seems like maybe someone is sitting here without any kind of work or any kind of mission you know thank you for everyone who raised your hand a lot of you did we have a mission a mission from God and it could be different but we are those missionaries we want to follow or do the things that the mission that was given to us and we do these services not for no reason we don't do this just to do it we don't talk about only about the missionaries who are in Africa or at the end of the world but we are talking about ourselves we are talking about ourselves how God is calling each one of us you know God sends the missionary to a to a local church somebody's sent to Guatemala somebody goes to Africa Ukraine Russia but to remember that and remember that we personally are a missionary and I carry the service or the mission of God and to be faithful to God in this service it could be preaching the gospel it could be at work at church it could be a musician it is your calling I am fulfilling it and going back to the text we read and everything that you do do it from your soul like you do it unto the Lord not
