verses from the Bible and read and take notes on Luke well the main reward from my class was the iPad and after a month of hard work of reading the Bible I won and even though I studied really hard it was actually God who helped me win and that I should praise him for that I would like to open up Deuteronomy 10 21 praise him for all he is your God and you have seen with your own eyes the gray and astounding things he has done for you this verse talks about how we should praise God because he's done so many things for us that we don't even know he did for us another thing I did is I went to a conference called the sand and people were there praising God in the field for 12 hours straight and right after they looked like lobsters they were red everywhere but during one song the we were singing letter a train and God actually made it rain so the people could cool down good evening everybody praise God so as many of you know this is my first time actually speaking married so this is this is a compliment for me and today actually marks one month of our marriage since we were married it was last month on the 17th so exactly one month so I guess it's about time Bible says one month so I'm here anyways God didn't give me any extra time anyways so as many of you know me and I got married we went on our honeymoon and I guess I just wanted to share some stuff that occurred there and you know our experiences because I thought you know okay I'm gonna get married one month it's just gonna be me and my wife you know not so much Christianity stuff or you know whatever but as you know I'm a firm believer that no matter where you are what you're doing how you're doing God is always a part of that so what do you know we're on our honeymoon and you know we get there first couple days maybe first two days it was just you know me Natalie having a great time living life you know just married and then you know we enjoyed that and we slowly started to notice I believe it was Wednesday third Thursday the third day and the first thing that happened was a was a guy that we ran into his name was Remy he he was like a concierge over one of the buildings and he you know he was supposed to make sure that everyone had toilet paper water all their stuff was being done room service whatever but he was talking with us and we spent maybe like two hours with him and then out of nowhere we were sitting at a table with him talking and he just he was talking about some stuff by music and how he plays music and he's a musician all their stuff and then out of nowhere like we're mid conversation he goes my dad's a pastor and I look at him I'm like what do you say like my dad's a pastor like what that's it was so off topic you didn't make any sense but he said it so then I right away something sparked inside of me and I'm like oh really your dad's a pastor Wow you know where you see a pastor and he's like all he's in Haiti and he's a he's the pastor of a church and I'm the leader of the worship and he plays all kinds of instrument I'm like wow really so you know right from that moment it all started you know I start we started you know sharing things testimonies how things are going in Haiti and how you know how things are in Florida and anyways this was the first encounter that I had that I was like okay so this is more than just the honeymoon because you know we're already starting to to talk with people and stuff and then the second day we had we had it was like it was so weird because the first two days we were like alone like nobody really talked to us nothing but like after that after we talked to that guy after we started you know sharing stuff and then all kinds of people Americans and and people that work there and we were just able to share you know things and even even share about Jesus too you know renew people's relationship with him maybe even bring people to him you know and and like it was it was I'll just share one one example to kind of give you a picture of it so one night let's go get water from our room and I'll go to get water and guy walks in he's an American he's part of a company they came there he comes in and he's like he's like oh hey you know sorry to bother you or whatever and we just started talking he's like oh you're Ukrainian takes me outside he asked me oh how was the war in Ukraine how's it going whatever and we're just talking talking talking and then out of nowhere he goes he goes something about religion how Muslims are taking over and what do you know I'm starting to talk to him about Jesus and and how you know relationship with him and how we should keep our anyways it was like 40 minutes and Ellie's in the room alone which I thought I was gonna get in a lot of trouble for but yeah 40 minutes and I'm like oh my goodness like I'm thinking this is not good his wife came I'd like to come get him and his she sat down and some of his co-workers were also kind of so I got to like talk to maybe three four of them and we were just conversating but then what's it called he says he goes we're like alright let's go and he goes he tells me he's like this is the best Church I've been to in three years and I was like wow you know praise God I'm happy I was able to you know influence your life and then I'm walking back to the room you know 2-minute walk and I'm just walking I'm like oh my goodness this is like our what thirty day married and I'm already in big trouble because I spent so much time talking to a guy and I'm walking to the room I get back in and she's smiling and I'm smiling I'm just I'm just like I was thinking I'm gonna walk in and she's gonna be like so mad she's gonna be like all right that's it I'm gonna sleep leave me alone or whatever well like I walk in and she's just like smiling I mean I'm like what's wrong what's up I thought I was gonna be in trouble she's like she's like no no why did it take so long I'm like I'm like well and then I started to Shay and she got all excited and you know we were both excited and we just went to sleep so it was it worked out for me well oh wait actually that doesn't doesn't top it off earlier that day we went to a sushi place and the main chef that makes the sushis okay let's rewind a little bit so she wanted sushi in the middle of the day it was like two three o'clock the place doesn't open till 6:00 so I was like okay I'm gonna try to get her sushi because there's only one place you could get at that restaurant there was no one in there I walk in just the lady and the chef I walk in I'm like could we is there any way we could get some sushi my wife really wants him right now and and he she like no I'm sorry and then the chef like he didn't speak much English we kind of looked at her and he said something to her and she's like okay we'll make an exception but chef says he will make a roll for you I said okay went back I got her we came back in and he like made a you know made the sushi for us and it was like we were kind of trying to communicate with him and I'm like wow that's so weird I noticed I felt something about him and we added each other in facebook and we left so and then later that day the guy one guy I met that was that was what happened later that day uh after dinner and then when I got back to the room as soon as I told Nelly that I got a my phone vibrated and I looked I looked at my phone and it said that that sushi chef sent me a message saying Nelly do you remember what it said yeah okay so it said yeah it said may God bless you very much and because as soon as I shared with Nelly what I did you know for that American what I shared through the American I got a message saying may God bless you very much and I'm like oh my goodness like all like you know it all lined up like I I shared the message and not only wasn't mad I opened up my phone the sushi guy told me may God bless you very well and I'm like sitting there I'm like oh my goodness like this whole circle like and and I'm on my honeymoon you know like I didn't go on a mission trip but anyways so that's just like one of the instances but we're flying back and I and now he looks over at me and she's like I'm like I'm like wasn't it a great honeymoon and she's like well it was it was more of a mission trip I'm like I'm gonna I kind of look at her I'm like well is that a bad thing and she's like no no that's it's actually really good so so you know that's that's that but where where I was leading this to is actually like that how I said earlier no matter where you are what you're doing how you're doing like the Holy Spirit spirit is within you so like people thing about that place I went to Punta Cana Dominican Republic for some reason they were like okay they're very spiritual so they can like sense things they're very like you know what I mean like they they can sense things in the spiritual realm so like I you know when I went to sleep actually that same night that chef he he messaged me have a good night and he said man of God so he knew without he we didn't talk any Christianity nothing you know prior to him leaving but he knew you sent that message because I'm sure he felt it you know what I mean and he came into work the early the next day just to just to spend time with me and Ally so like that was wild so that that really showed me you know that that the you know the power that's in us a lot of people can feel that and the more available we are to let it kind of radiate through us or kind of like the Holy Spirit's kind of moved through us the more likely people are going to be able to receive what God wants to give them from you so and another thing that supports that this is just kind of what revelations I've been getting in my life but I was with Ben Isaac I had the opportunity to go to pool jacuzzi with him spend some time with the guy and a couple questions went up came up and this was one of them and he said that like one of my questions was like you know sometimes I'm just you know feeling like God can use me or like I I just you know feel like I'm not you know in the right stay or maybe I'm kind of slacking or complacent and just you know not not right and he's like what do you mean I'm like well you know because I'm human and I don't do it he's like what do you mean he's like it's not you that does it I'm like what do you mean sigh me he's like he's like it's God that lives within you that does it through you and then you know i sat there I didn't hit me at that moment but eventually like you know after going into honeymoon and everything at all made sense so actually let me open up with the verse so it's written in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4 verse 7 it says but we have this treasure in earthen vessels so this treasure in our earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us yes so so imagine that imagine that it is now if we're tired if we're feeling like we're not good enough for a feeling like we're now righteous or holy enough or any of these things the first thing we need to think is first of all it's not us it's God so regardless of what state were in yes we have to try to be the best people we could possibly be but that does not mean that God can't use us and a lot of times even me myself that hinders me from being used by God to my fullest potential me because I think like oh you know because I had a bad day or I wasn't the best this week you know I can't put like if I get opportunity I can't possibly minister to this person I can't possibly share something that this person if I'm not even that good you know or if I have didn't even have a good day you know so so all of this tying together you know and being on my honeymoon I realized that like no matter where you are like you just you have to be responsive you have to be available you know and you have to allow the Holy Spirit that lives within you to to use you you're earthen vessel to show the excellence of the power of God within you so and it really really get better that too you need to build your relationship with the holy spirit because the more you build your relationship with the Holy Spirit the more responsive you can be when the time and opportunity comes to let him use you to touch other people to touch other hearts so it all starts with all of you know each and every one of us you know allowing there building a relationship with the Holy Spirit and then being responsive and allowing the Holy Spirit to use us to touch other people it doesn't have to be evangelical service or outreach or anything like I said I was on my honeymoon my honeymoon was supposed to be for me and Natalie and only us God gave us two days in the last next less three days he said nope you know this is gonna be this is gonna last three days are gonna be for me first to her for you last three or for me so just just remember that you know build that relationship and allow the Holy Spirit to move through you regardless of how you feel you are if you you think you're the worst person you make all the worst mistakes you have a bad temper you have this you have that you know what the list will go on forever and you know it can only like God can only help you with your character so much you know I mean we're human so we can't think of we can't because the Bible says it's the excellence that lies within us not us we don't do it we don't help people we don't support people with I mean it's God through us through the Holy Spirit that does the spiritual work in other people's lives so
