our worship we we do our testimony time so we like to you know give an open mic so that if anybody came here with testimony or maybe just a short word or something that they would like to share whatever you know throughout the month maybe something happened or they just have something on their heart or a testimony uh it's this is the time that you can share so oh paparazzi russian speak russian colorado you know about a week or two ago we went to colorado slovakia you know it turned out to be a blessing for us because we were we were searching for a car to drive up there in the mountains you know and i thought in my mind well if we're going to go in the mountains there's going to be deep drops [Music] you know so we we wanted to make sure we had a four-wheel drive so it would all four wheels would move so it's pretty expensive because it was 120 to 130 dollars a day so for our trip it would cost us about twelve hundred dollars whatever happens i guess we will just end up pushing it not four wheel drive but deep down i had a desire to get a four wheel drive when we arrived [Music] something for the minivan and they said well since we don't have it we can just for a 200 extra we could give you a big big vehicle and you see god took care of us at uh the place we were staying was very high in a hill and if we had a two-wheel drive there was no way we would get up there i even tried it on the suburban and because of the snow it wasn't able to get up but when i when i put it into four-wheel drive and you know we made it up thank you brother sergi it's you know sometimes it's in the smaller simplest things you may think like oh yes you know we always say coincidence that's like one of the things that everyone always mentions you know especially non-believers they'll be like oh yeah that was a coincidence that he came there and they just so happened but we as believers we very well know that god does care for us even in those things that we may think oh that's not spiritual that's a car but in reality you know he he cares for us in those things you know to be able to spend time with our family on vacation whatever it may be you know for just i believe his love for us is so dear that it allows so much more than we can even imagine so again open mic anyone else want to go after brother sergi what's interesting is last time we had i mentioned that the girls were were sharing the most and we had very little uh guy volunteer so let's the guys in the room let's let's try to you know step it up let's make something happen today i guess we just have one so brother sergey was the only one that wanted to share i mean i have something too but i would like to give an opportunity to anyone in the room that's willing okay so maybe after i share it'll you know somebody will have a desire based on what i share so you know i i've lately i mean i've spent a lot of time at home in the last three weeks because uh you know we had my first born son on the 7th of january and it's interesting i mean we watched services here and there and um but at home not being in the services is a lot different than than actually being in the service with fellowship and fellowship with people and stuff and i i kind of realized in that three weeks away from church from fellowship from you know i still see people but it you know as far as spiritual edification it wasn't quite the same on a personal or with my wife level um so what i kind of wanted to touch on was uh two words and i believe even in my teen years when i was a teenager growing up it was something that kind of like i feel like a lot of younger people and even maybe when you're older you battle with and it's it's apathy or being apathetic and complacency so you know being kind of away from from the church from people church people fellowship you know it kind of disconnects you in a way even live stream isn't the same like you can watch live stream but because you're not in the presence and it's you know it's a whole different feeling and it reminded me like when i was you know in my teen years and i was kind of like not as interested because the word apathy means to not to not have as much interest or to not be as interested in something so meaning that you know you're just like there sometimes you can come to church and if you're apathetic meaning you know you're not really interested in what's going on in my teen years i had you know i dealt with that same with complacency complacency meaning you're there but you're not really there it's kind of like you're just you're just kind of you're still even though everything's moving so i feel like i feel like it's something that we as christians and you know for for the youth specifically i feel like it's a it's a spot that i believe that we need to kind of i guess check ourselves and just kind of see if you know we come to church we come to you know uh these services or whatever and we just kind of come to be there or are we are we allowing what's going on what what god's doing you know through the worship through the word uh to actually like papa merza said in the morning service are we allowing you know ourselves to enter into the holy of holies and not just being kind of like on the side watching what's going on but to actually step into it and allow god to work on our spirit in order to transform us in order to to make a change in us you know because with apathy nor complacency will you be able to achieve that you're not going to be able to you know be somewhere and and receive something if you're not actually there you know what i mean that's for complacency apathy if you're not interested in something and and you know you you expect to see results or something to happen you know it's not going to happen that's why sometimes you know as from personal example when we would go to conferences youth like youth conferences or something you know you would get on fire you know you allow yourself to enter into that that that presence and and to allow god to work on you and then you know it kind of like it's kind of like a hill you go up at the conference and then sometimes you know you just kind of come down and then you get discouraged you're like oh well you know like it's not the same fire anymore but in reality it can be the same fire it's just your idea of what it is so because just because it's a conference and that's where god's supposed to be that's what god's supposed to do he's supposed to do things and then all of a sudden you go back to your daily life and you just think okay then god's no longer going to be doing those same things and i don't have that worship music i need i don't have that you know whatever it's just the circumstances the atmosphere but the truth is that we as believers we should be able to to find that conference-like atmosphere in every part of our life and our whole lifestyle has to have has to contain that that ability to be there to be fully engaged to be fully interested in what god has for us to be fully fully aware of what's going on in the spirit around us and i believe in my own personal life when i when i realize this you know you go to a conference that should just be like a like a you know like a spark you should always be on this you know on a spiritual high i guess you could say and and always allowing god to to you know pour into your spirit and and me not being in church for three weeks kind of showed me in the physical what that's like to be disconnected to be kind of on the side but in the spiritual it's so much more important it's so much more important for us to allow god to pour into our spirit even though we may not you know we come to church and we may not think anything's happening when we sing that song or we may not think anything will happen if we really listen to that sermon but if the more we press in and the more we allow god to to kind of you know plant those seeds and to allow him to kind of work within us to transform us and without being apathetic and and complacent in our walks as christians not just in church but throughout every area of our life it'll it can allow god to renew our spirit and to build us into the christians and the believers that he has he has destined us to be so we can actually walk in our purpose and and find what he has in store for us so that's my encouragement to everybody those two words um if you don't know what it is again apathy is not being as interested in and complacency is as if you're there but you're not really there you're kind of still like everybody's moving in one direction and you're just you know kind of you know not not really not really moving it's both words sort of mean the same thing but yeah that's my encouragement just try to allow god in everywhere and everything you do everywhere you go just listen to that the voice of the holy spirit and try to see through everything what is he trying to tell you what is he trying to show you what is he trying to help you with what is he trying to guide you through and you will start to see in your life things will start to develop and you will start to find spiritual growth that you didn't that you didn't know you could achieve before so that's just what i had in my heart to share and i hope it was an encouragement to some of you and i also wanted to give another chance uh pastor peter will actually be sharing the main word with us tonight uh he has something in store for us for the first service of of the year but before we get into that i would i would like to give one more open mic and maybe somebody wanted to add on to what papa merza said or maybe what i touched on so anybody okay so i for this what 20 30 days of the new year it's hard to believe i know that our church going through the fasting and pray and praying maybe that's kind of like keep you humble a little bit i don't know many of the people in our church go through the fasting no seriously one uh when people ask you how many times you prayed this year sincerely for something that you really needed i really like to bring it to you to the presence of god with this with the spirit of thank you is anybody have answered prayer this year yet anybody did you pray did god answer your prayer did you pray at the church or secretly in the house did people know that you asked god or there was something you just like you received and you just don't want to know but you know it's so personal see i'm asking you is anybody saying do you have something to say do you have answered prayers come over here come in man let's just give it up for the young man come on i can't believe it we've been whole year whole changes came so when they came to jerusalem first what they did they built the jerusalem they get a house in the water then there was a conference when everybody was at the plaza and there was written word of god and first what they did they blessed the name of the lord so you say that sometimes in the church let's just bless the god's name they say who are you to bless in him we're here to receive blessings from him do you know what means blessings to the lord do you know how many people in the world today they get upset with god they mad at god they have so much stuff against god because they they said no and i can't worship imagine this 70 years being in captivity some of the people they will never see the jerusalem some people older folks they came back there was like uh 70 plus 15 to really remember so 85 some of them was 80 years old so they remember those streets when there was a teenagers you remember you use tell you it doesn't matter how old you're going to be your teenager years you'll remember for rest of your life the best candy when it was in high school the best stuff happens when you get her first bicycle because he was a teenager that kept you emotion he kept your memory so strongly that's what happened to generation they came back they missing up the whole life be in a captivity they come back to jerusalem looks like they come back to their childhood everybody remember your childhood young people you still you will old folks who is watching me my age and older we remember the childhood the best stuff when there was a kids one of the children and they come back to jerusalem what they see and they say oh good but it's i come back to my child do you remember after so many years you go back to ukraine who is the first time go back to your village after being america what are feelings right you come back to the streets you see all the good stuff jumping reminds you about your good childhood look this is a bunch of people they came back to jerusalem and they remember the childhood and they probably cry they said all my life i spend who knows well they mistreat us in babylon they make them fun of us i lost everything now i come back why do i need that now when i'm 75 years old why i didn't come back to my streets to my childhood when i was still alive it was a lot of reason when people can have a grinch against a god but a bible said they praise his name when we praise god's name the opens our hearts to worship him if he is not enough if it's not good enough to praise him you cannot worship him you can't who you want to worship if he's not answering prayers he's not good to you he's not nice he's not protecting me people might say oh this and this happens in my life i don't want to pray worship him i don't worship to god so these people after captivity they came they they praise his name they praise his name they say lord thank you i don't know what really i just picture that to you in reality we read this in a couple of verses let's go on to the next important chapter but there was a moment kept my attention this time of the year when i'm reading this book so to really make the worship night praise the ball can i say that in english i think i twist the word it's okay english still developing language so they can add it to so to really make that night when we can worship him praise him we need to start with the praise that's why it's very important when you come upstage benjamin right you say i have something to say i'm sure you have something to say i'm not going to call anybody else i just did that to kind of like really motivate us to really to point it it is a poor it is so many reasons why we can praise god and after we praise the worships comes i would like to share the word of god with you today it's the beginning of the year and kind of kind of i want to focus on a vision for the night like tonight for this why we're doing what we're doing why we're doing what we're doing with the two reasons it's just because that's what god wants us to do and second reasons because he wanna praise he want to be glorified through this evening when people when god's glorified when people come to the christ when they come to know the jesus you know when we've been too long in the gospel in the house of god we've been saved for too long we get used to it do you know how many people today they in agony because they cannot live their sinful life they slave to the stuff they don't want to do do you know how many people they cry out at night after the friday night good party but because they're not satisfied and we are free i believe everybody is free if it's not you can be free tonight after tonight when we accepted jesus as a personal savior in interesting stuff some people who grew up in the church they still need to receive that forgiveness and freedom how come you say it doesn't matter because the salvation doesn't come just in the package deal because you're a christian you live in a christian family you can be a pastor son or daughter but if you don't receive the jesus christ as a personal savior everything is going to sit on your mind head right here actually it works against you because your knowledge will know you're doing wrong but in the heart you cannot be free that's the agony which turn you apart when you know it's not right but you're still doing it you know people who do know the wrong and right people who never met the christ who never been exposed to the gospel they're more happier because they don't live with a contradiction of that soul or that conscious they just do wrong and they're doing 100 fully but those who grew up in a family christian family in the church any time you take the wrong turn you know your gps said me you turn your turn but you just replace this at the bottom you keep going but to the destination you desire to go it's not just to you but it's a demon is behind pushing you to the sin you really need the salvation and freedom from that i tell you straight i'm not playing i'm not sugaring around and that's the gospel we preach and this is the gospel i received that's what make me free that's why i'm excited when it comes to say i always say are you christian i always looking for opportunity at the job at the workplace anywhere else and i say are you a christian i'm not playing around i just say are you baptized next my question he said yeah are you following christ he said yeah i said so nice to have another brother in christ it's my daily routines i'm not the shame i'm not losing the time i continue to do that if i don't do this i don't feel right because you know you can do all kinds of stuff you can do the business and stuff like this if you miss an important stuff to share the gospel the the church maybe some division maybe some department maybe some assignment and people so satisfied and they don't want to go anymore to the mission field they got so excited we got a puppet they got a microphone they got the people to listen they have everything they need they have three steps up you can see me i can see you that's it and jesus said do not set for this don't stop don't satisfy it you're with it so don't lose the main purpose why i send you to the mission field do you know a lot of people when they became christian there's a proof in fact after a couple years they get so excited they're so comfortable to be in the church to be safe to be with jesus to be forgiveness all these sins to be a saint did i say right sing saying and this is huh saint thank you we got reward for you too brother we preach together and they so excited they don't want to go anywhere they they park they're not just a park they tour the eternal engine to save the gas inside of the church inside to be safe that's a fact after two three years the person who came from the world he disconnect himself with outside world because that's a bad corruption corrupt his mind he is no longer connection to this field to bring the other one to the christ because he surround himself with a christian if him young men he married to the christian family that's it and they disconnect as a focus the grieving part they receive you so good they can set you apart from the mission there is so many bible stories how the people was received well and they excited and they just neglect what god praise and worship english missionary outreach services this year 2021 let to be what you designed to be you put in our hearts we don't want to focus we don't want to settle we don't want to just camp and once time you said to your disciples when they say well it's not the time yeah it says three more months the harvest has come you say come lift up your eyes and see the harvest is ready well jesus you speak to us tonight same way you ask us to look jesus just lift up our eyes and see the harvest is ready father i pray through jesus christ through the holy spirit through the ministry of the holy spirit the time on our church prays and fast and fast and beginning of the year many of our people in our church to pray and fast and today this time for for for missionary for outreach for evangelism for spreading the gospel father i pray tonight with my brothers that you holy spirit will remind us who we are in you what's our assignment lord jesus what are you calling us to and you're calling us to depend on you father yes it's dangerous world we read in your word you say i've send in you because you are with us father i pray that our our missionary work our english outreach services will be full with a vision from you that lord jesus you give us this time not just satisfied our needs only i know it's beautiful they have english so they will understandable to our younger generation father but the potential of the night is bigger and more it's deeper it's in your heart to reach out this world with your gospel father i pray that your blessings and your anointing will take care of every one of us i pray for the personal needs people have lord jesus free them up from all the stuff they they tied tight to it so they would be more free to to serve you father i pray for young generation for middle generation for all the generation in our church that you holy spirit will touch everybody there will be just the changes will come that the true meaning of to be a missionary church slavic full gospel church true meaning of this will be appears father i pray according to your word according to our agreement when we set this evening for outreach let this outreach begin in the beginning of this year lord jesus in our hearts first in my mind in my prayer i agree with you what i receive the word i submit myself to you calling father that's my prayer for myself and for my brother i pray whatever who prayed this prayer today in this this moment answer the prayer with your holy answer father from the heaven the evidence of you anointing will be so obvious lord jesus that when we preach when we pray when we talk to people that your kingdom will spread the people will receive the salvation forgiveness of the sin they will accept you as a personal savior jesus christ and they will live forever father let's start in the beginning of this 2021 with this prayer i pray i dedicate this year this english outreach services i dedicate to this goal to this calling to this vision in the beginning you put in our hearts father we just remind one another what's it to serve in you what is all about this praise and worship night father thank you thank you again for this time that you let us get together again beginning of the year and i pray let this 2021 will be in your will will be the way you want a father through jesus christ let the holy spirit shape us prepare us and i pray that every service we're going to have in this year lord jesus there will be your anointing it will be your calling it will be you manifesting your will through this evening services i pray i bless my service it's for every church everywhere because that was that's jesus's i mean that's god's will for his church here on earth so i mean especially for this service but everybody should be are you excited about 2021 yes i am so you've been in the house with your wife watching us on online live stream yes well not the english service but yeah but you're praying and all this stuff so what's the lord speaking to you i believe i believe that he has something big in store for this year um especially for young people the next generation i just believe that um you know the older generations to encourage the younger generations our youth in our church particularly yeah and i believe god has something big planned and every person individually has something great in store but it's just a matter of unlocking it and allowing god to use them and that's kind of what i touched on about what do you expect through that what do you expect from 2021 you and nelly your family well ministry-wise i mean you know when the guard house let's talk about ministry-wise right i mean what i would like to you know um just because i had a kid doesn't mean that i no longer serving god so of course i have to continue to serve and i have to find a way you know whether i have one two three kids or however it may be for us to be fully efficient and effective in serving god and we're blessed to find the right place we bless you for two or three right peter ivanka we bless you didn't you agree to it pray about it they're they're they're just hoping we have one like that one praise god praise god you know when we beginning of 2020 remember that oh my goodness it was so much prophecy it was a good year and all that stuff and we watched this year when the president trump christian kind of support prison left the white house all that stuff happens do you know what i'm not sure i'm not really you know it's like hype up for new year and all like this but i trust in lord i trust in lord yeah it's interesting too because if you guys notice that i would say majority of the prophets american different countries wherever were prophesying that trump would be president i mean i would say 90 95 percent of people were saying yeah for sure second term they were talking second term before he even had his first term and it's interesting to see because you know i heard like one prophecy or maybe two prophecies that they were saying that he's not going to be president and it was hard because you know you have you know 30 prophecies saying one thing two saying another thing and you know and another thing that i kind of learned in that last year and just seeing everything play out and how you know we ended up having a different president and i realized that like you really need to have it for yourself because all you know there's many leaders that are trusted that are you know right they've prophesied many times before and and you would think 100 yeah they said trump's going to have a second term but you know they didn't it's and it just makes you wonder like how important is it for you to know what god is doing as opposed to always trusting someone else you know what i mean so to me it's like we should really really seek god and see what he's doing in our life first instead of trying to see oh what are people saying he's going to do there or what he's going to do here you know find it for yourself be in the right place and you won't even have to worry you won't even have to worry that there's a new president because you already know god has you and god well you know that speaks to me you know i'm encouraged by what you just said because we got traumatized for me i'm speaking to you lord speaking to me i don't know speaking to you guys but i say seek the will of god for yourself that's what i want to do that's what i'm about to do this year i want to seek force lord doing for me doesn't matter what's around you know the special one is uh last year when there was a was a president elections comes and i see the one of the state was so close was a two president candidate new president and i was like oh oh it doesn't looks right you know was like and everybody yeah and then they say do you know what really happens already mentioned to me to to not already mentioned somewhere when people were so trust in the president in the white house i don't think so lord like that and how about now lord said trust me yeah when we have our person in the white house you know what a lot of people christian they can relax we have our man he's going to take care of it for us but now with the new presidency and they already reverse couple laws was president trump was working on it now it's not in the favor of the christian you know it's really time to pray i know what i would like to when you're going to come to the conclusion it's my personal request and i'll invite you i'm hopefully they're going to join us have a prayer for a new elect for for the new president because the bible say pray for authority it's easy when we pray keep him in the white house president is why president uh trump is good president what about if you cannot say so you don't feel so about the new president's bible still you have to pray maybe double double because they are an authority and we're the christians so that's my first prayer request this is 2001 we're going to have was a prayer well thank you it was a nice chat with you i'm going to sit and you're going to continue to wrap it up everything and probably it's going to be like we're always thinking about end of this next month somewhere we're going to have another end of the month one of the one of the later sundays of february we'll be having our uh next english missionary outreach service like peter said um so yeah of course you know even though it may be unfortunate for a lot of christians that the president that we may not have wanted or some may have wanted but regardless of the point you know we should not be so worried about politics our our job as believers as christians you know jesus came there was politics all over the place but he didn't necessarily oh but you know do this yeah honor them respect them you know give them give them their place because they're authorities but we have to remember that our our work is to be done in the spirit and and that's where we need to focus don't worry about oh who's there who's the governor who's this just respect them pay their taxes do what you need to do and pray for them and god god let it happen god allowed biden to be president so we can't say oh you know whatever is you know fight it or try to argue something we know what happened it happened we pray for him we're going to support him regardless so um yes peter that we will have a special prayer for that and you also mentioned you know for our personal walks with god and to you know to pray to kind of see god to be a effective missionary like peter was talking about you know like this service specifically uh inviting people and just on a personal level maybe not even the service just when you're out and about to to be kind of conscious and be able to to share with people the gospel even if it's through like simple simple words like you don't have to quote bible verses at least you know give them the truth of jesus christ and and the freedom that lies within it you don't even have to you know try to force it at them just just be conscious of the holy spirit and he'll guide you through the process pretty much and uh yeah so when we pray we're gonna pray for our president and also you know for for us ourselves individually to not be apathetic or complacent like i said earlier and to be effective you know in our in our outreach and our you know job to be missionaries and spread the gospel so let us stand to our feet for our final prayer and we will conclude father god we thank you for this for this day this time these people that we are here today in fellowship with lord we thank you so much for this wonderful service in which we were able to be together and worship your name and lift up and lift up your your name jesus and we thank you so much that you have given us the award for today and some testimonies and encouragement that we heard lord and we thank you that that you always speak to us and that you're always with us and that you always give us a word to get through to the next day lord and we're praying for our president the the new elect president that we have president uh joe biden lord even though it may not have been uh the desires of many of us of many christians lord but we know that if it happened it's your will and we give it into your hands lord and we are here to do whatever it takes uh regardless of who our leader is in this country lord we just pray for him we support him and we just pray that your holy spirit do do his work and you you let whatever needs to happen happen in in that in the politics of this nation lord i pray for every single person here include including myself god to to be focused and not apathetic or complacent in our walks as christians in order for us to truly find out and seek out your will for our life in order to fall into your purpose for our life god we pray that we become effective missionaries effective uh carriers of your gospel carriers of your presence and to share the word with all the people that we come across lord let us be conscious of your holy spirit and sensitive to to what he is trying to do in our lives and and work through us and allow him to and we pray that you just keep us safe and all all everything we're going to be doing in the next weeks to come and month lord until we meet again we pray in jesus name amen all right god bless everybody
