Jesus says Thomas because you have seen me you have believed but blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed blessed are we those that do not see his death and do not see his regular Resurrection he was still believes and you know that takes a little bit of Faith you need a little bit of Faith to believe without even seeing because sometimes it is difficult to believe you know that truth especially us in our human bodies it's difficult to believe if we don't have the facts right in front of us but today I want to talk about a little bit about faith a little bit about believing about what we believe in and how we move in our faith and first I would like to read Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8. this this is what my whole message will be about for it is by Grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourself it is the gift of God is we know we are saved by grace that is very very known to many of us we all believe that Mercedes but it says through faith how is it through faith it says it's not from us it's a gift from God so where is that little bit of faith that it takes yes I want to tell you all a story there were many people lined up on smart and he says you know what I don't want to choose right now I choose to stay on the fence you know I could sit down here I could lay down relax I don't have to make this choice right now because it's such a hard choice and he's sitting on the fence the only one yeah and some time passed and the Devil comes with some demons and he said it's time you have to come from the fence to my side and the man says no I do not want to choose but the devil says to him he says there's one thing you do not know the fence it is mine so welcome to Hell else so this man he tried to not choose but that was the choice in itself he was not he did not choose Heaven he did not choose Jesus he was not faithful he was not obedient but he didn't want to choose the other side either way but that's something we do not understand if we do not choose Jesus then you're automatically choosing the other side maybe you think you're not choosing the worst sin in the world maybe you're just choosing pleasure you want to relax but if you do not choose Jesus you are choosing the others and I want to say obedience in its self is an act of faith is and disobedience is the result of unbelief when we do not believe that is when we choose to stay in the Middle East maybe some people stay in the middle because they're still searching for the truth is but that is already unbelief we need to be obedient and that is US showing our faith in Revelations chapter 3 verse 15 it says I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot I could wish that you were cold or hot is see Jesus here is talking about all those people that are still on the fence is foreign and Jesus wants us to pick aside and he wants us to take a step of Faith but that's not always easy faith is very difficult because sometimes when you have to take a step of faith that means putting your life on the line I want to share One More Story there was there was one man he decided to go on vacation and he went to a village that was nearby next to the desert and he decided he wanted to explore so he was having so much fun he was walking around in this desert he would see one cool animal he would go One Direction he would see a big Sand Hill he would want to go on top of it he would go a different direction and then it was time to go home so he starts going home but he turns to his left to his right and it all looks the same and he's lost in the desert and so he starts walking the way he thinks that his background and he's walking walking many many hours and he realizes he is not getting any clothes it's very hot outside the sun is shining you know he's getting very thirsty he begins to drink his water and then he finally takes his last sip of water and realizes and he realizes he's going to die in this desert unless someone comes finds him he doesn't know the way home yes it's very hot outside he thinks he's gonna die of thirsty but he decides to go pick One Direction and walk in that direction so for the rest of the day he's walking in that direction it gets very hot his head hurts he starts to hallucinate and see but then far in the distance it looks like he sees a little house but he thinks no that's just the Mirage but let me just go to see what it is so he gets a little bit closer and it gets a little bit more clear you know and so he sees oh this is real this is not a mirage [Music] [Music] and it gets so easy that he could pump it normally and he's pumping for five minutes and all he hears it's just on solution squeak you you squeak every time every time this man lets go of the handle yeah he said why am I wasting my strength it is all there is no water I'm not gonna touch it anymore I don't want to die any faster um starts to look around the hunt and you know what he sees is in the corner he sees a water bottle it is of course very warm water it's been standing there for a long time but he sees a little water bottle and he gets very excited he says I can drink this water yeah and I will live for a little bit longer maybe I'll live one or two more days before and as right before he's about to open the water bottles this is a note on the water bottles and this note says hello dear traveler we know you may be thirsty and you may be lost but this water bottle here is not for you to drink it's for you to pour into the top of the pump to prime it yeah and you need to pour it into the pump prime the pump and then you will get water and then you can drink as much foreign and his mind is telling him drink it but his heart is telling him to pour it out and he's standing there in this dilemma and he doesn't know what to do this could be life or death for him and finally he decides to pour it out he pours the entire water bottle and he takes his pump handle and he pushes it down and he goes quick yeah and he gets a little bit harder and the squeaking gets quieter and quieter and they were able to take him home all because this man had a little bit of faith and my friends this is me and you sometimes we get these into these situations in our lives where we're in a desert surrounded by nothing and we don't know how we got there we just think it's so terrible and we think we're going to die there but then God sends us a house with a little pumpkin and we get in there we get to the place where God told us to go but nothing is working we're pumping and it's not working and we think that God let us down we think that God tricked us somehow but what God really wants it's like Jesus told Thomas you have to pour it out before foreign and many of us it's difficult for us to take this step of Faith but that is what Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8 says for we've been saved by by Grace it is the grace that took Jesus Christ to the cross that he died and he came back to life if the blood God died but we must put our lives on the line we have to take a step of faith we have to get off of this fence and we have to choose Jesus sometimes we just wait for Jesus to choose us we wait for the water to flow because Jesus makes it flow says we wait for Jesus to take us off of the fence because we know he can do it is sometimes we wait for Jesus to make a move of God happen in our church but like brother Bill said last week that sometimes Jesus wants you to take a step of faith maybe you are the move of God you are the move of God that Jesus wants to take place you're the move of God maybe you just need a little bit of Faith Moses maybe you just need to take this step of faith and when you take this step of faith when you put your trust in Jesus good things always happen you go from death into life you go from Darkness into light to move you go from shame and to Grace you go from defeat into Victory and most importantly you go from Fear into Faith because you know what fear is fears when you take your problem and you multiply it for eternity and that's when you get fear but in order to turn that into Faith you must take your problem problemo and you must multiply it by Jesus and that's when you get Faith what's this because you know Jesus is bigger than any of your problems and that's where you need to take a step of faith and trust him what's yes and sometimes that is just so difficult but today brothers and sisters we all have the opportunity to take the step of faith that Jesus wants us to take because I don't know what your step of faith is only you and Jesus but today you have an opportunity to take the steps today I want to read one last verse before I close off it's Hebrews chapter 12 verses one and two Pierre with therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every way and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run the race with let us run with endurance the race that is set before us is looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and he sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God is foreign come to Jesus you need to get off of this fence maybe you've never gotten off of this fence yet and you're still deciding today Jesus gives you an only today is why he cannot outsmart God you have to choose today so if you need to take this step of Faith to turn back to Jesus well for healing as well miscellaneous so let's bow our heads and pray Jesus we worship you and glorify your name thank you Jesus we thank you for your death on the cross we thank you for your Resurrection for your life for the gift that you have given us you have given us this life and life Everlasting Jesus and we thank you that you have given us this grace that you have given us this salvation and we ask right now that we would not be afraid that we would not be ashamed that we would not listen to the lies but we would believe and trust even if we do not see it right now so that we would take this step of faith we will take this step of faith in our lives we would put our lives in your hands so that we would let you take control Jesus maybe we've turned away from you maybe we've turned our heads or our back to you Jesus right now Jesus we turn back to you we turn back to your cross we turn to your face Jesus and we just say forgive us of our sins we say we that believe in you and we put our faith in you today Jesus we make this step of faith today and Jesus we say I am yours Jesus we ask you today to heal us of our sicknesses because we know the devil came to kill Steel Anderson but you give life and you give healing you give healing where there is Brokenness [Music] you give healing where there is sickness so today Jesus I ask that every sickness in this place would be covered and healed by the blood of God I command every sickness in this I saw him I felt like I was dead and we also must know who we will be with me and we must always be ready I mean amen yes and before our service today I had a conversation plan a in our life we must only have a plan we must live as if tomorrow Jesus Christ comes and if he doesn't come take that plant then plan B we go to work we must put to priority or plan aim Plan B well if he doesn't come and so may God blessed to wait on our Lord as if he were to come right now to be ready for the word of God was bound and so we'll thank God and you remember we had two Evangelical events and people came and we and we witnessed to them and so remember not just in this place but when you're at home to pray for for the Salvation of those people does anyone have specific needs foreign God has allowed us to go on a family trip on a cruise so that he would protect us the Lord is sending us another child and we are praying for an um the child my grandmother fell and to pray for her healing Thanksgiving that the Lord has allowed us to have safe travels and we have returned Aimee William prayer for my brother he has gone through a hard time now his name is Valeri is Thanksgiving raise your hand if you
