okay [Music] [Music] SE s for Hallelujah Hu for [Music] [Music] [Music] foree fore for [Music] fore [Music] [Music] [Music] for [Music] foree am [Music] mean praise be to Jesus Christ today we have a wonderful day and I have a wonderful word to you because it is written in the word of God and Apostle Paul in his time uh the letter to Philippians chapter 4 verse 13 he wrote The Following things following words I can do all things through him who gives me strength in Jesus Christ wonderful words isn't it and with him today we can say also then when we are in Jesus Christ so we can do anything but in order to understand what Apostle Paul meant I going to read one more passage of scripture and but before that I wanted to tell you where the church to whom he wrote were located was located if you look at the roads that led to the Sea it was a little town and today they're they the archaeologist do the digging and there the the archaeologist say there is not even any sign that Jews ever lived there for some reason he chose the the city where a lot of unbelievers to whom he wrote but the city was located on the on the road where a lot of people traveled through I think he chose that City not by accident because he was an evangelist and he understood if he he will choose a correct place where he will plant the church and a lot of people will travel um by that road and that church going to have more opportunity to spread the gospel to them I also want to read the second Corinthians of chapter 11 verse 24 and below when Apostle Paul writes about his life and I'm going to read those words spe and to this place which I read I think uh right now today when we listen to the words that the Apostle Paul said we can understand more why did he why he said that he can do anything in Jesus Christ uh he didn't say that he I can do some kind of Miracles to in order to make myself Rich he cannot do something like who can he can show himself uh more than other brothers but he he talks about when he was uh going and preaching the gospel doesn't matter where he was doesn't matter what hard circumstances he was in but to that time he wrote those those following word that he can do any everything in Jesus Christ that God protected him and today what can we take for to for ourselves from example of apostle Paul and I know a lot of people like that verse that we can do everything in Jesus Christ and one translation says that we can do everything in Jesus Christ if we do it according to his will if we going to serve the Lord if we will dedicate Our Lives to Jesus Christ and so we we will be able uh just like Apostle Paul going through the that difficult life through accidents through suffering danger of any kind and we when we go through it we really we can say that we can do every anything in Jesus Christ because Apostle Paul did everything for the glory of the Lord and it's Pleasant for me to read and and to see that the that person was really dedicated to J to God it's a very good example for us in the New Testament but I want us to uh remind remember one person from the Old Testament who also was dedicated to the Lord it was Daniel when I read about his story it is interesting it said when it was forbidden to pray he opened up the windows into in the way of to Jerusalem he knelled before the Lord and he prayed and he did it many times a day he also lived in danger because the he was betrayed by the people who saw him let me they they throw they throw like um inside into the fire trying to to burn turn okay there there's the example in in those but I believe he was one of those and the the and the other name which assigned to him I believe it was one of them but he was was throw into the lions but he survived because God support him every step in his life no matter what he does when he deeply believe that he's belong to God and his God has the power to save him you can remember when the king came in the morning and he called Daniel and he saw that he's alive and I believe that God sent that King so he could have a witness not only for himself but for many people who betrayed Daniel who looked for his death but God saved him and he's and he helped him today what can we take it to our for ourselves when we live a simple life nobody knows that we believe we are we believe in God of course we're not going to experience any kind of suffering and we would not be able to say just like Apostle Paul so we can do anything in Jesus Christ also many other Apostles they dedicated themselves to the Lord he they gave up their lives for him that's why today we have a gospel that's why we believed in the Lord and we foll in him let's pray and thank the Lord for the Salvation that he gave to us you for [Music] for [Music] amen for [Music] [Music] [Music] foree [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] fore [Music] foree [Music] [Music] [Applause] for you [Music] [Music] [Music] for [Music] Al praise be to our Lord for this wonderful state of florid I understand that you live here full time and you like it you know it's the second time visiting your state and I like it here as well we have relatives and we have family that live here there's a churches that welcome in here your church is one of them and it's very pleasant yeah my name is Alexander I'm a bishop of the we have this abbreviation that we Union of SL of Pentecostal churches in in our [Music] region it's one of the biggest uh regions out of the in the union of churches our Union we have about 320 something churches that are part of it we have about three 30 different uh missionary stations we say that we have about 36,000 members and then about 5,000 of them immigrated to Europe or United States since the beginning of the war h [Music] you know I'm also here as a guest and my daughter is one of the participating of United for Ukraine program and those wonderful ladies that are here with us they are very needed in our local church there they are part of the church in norport and they Minister here but today to be visiting you today I did not have in on my in my books to to come to United States these days but um the way it happened is that the the government of Ukraine delegated some uh people to visit the United States I'm one of the uh participants of the group we had two um uh members of in Ukraine one of them is a leader of a social organ nonprofit organization and I'm one of the Bishops was also part of this delegation we had very intense five days with a very busy schedule Charlotte Spartan Ash you know our locations included of visiting Charlotte's parlor B and and Asheville the goal for our trip was that on behalf of the Ukrainian government to give thanks to personal private individuals and churches the community that help Ukraine also the US government because we had a meeting with us congressmen to give them thanks for the support that they provide Ed both spiritual and physical and also we the request is to continue the support with prayer and also any other physical support that we can [Music] get I think it's also going to be fitting for us to give thanks to your church that you participating and helping Ukraine any way you can also i' would like to say thank you brother V thank you your family that you in the ministry that you did prior to the conflict and also in the time during the war that happen thank you also assemblies go God that have tremendously helped Ukraine therefore we would like to say one more thank you and because of the conflict because of the war unfortunately it's still ongoing be praying that it was end as soon as possible but we have what we have therefore I would like to invite you to participate and pray together with us and support us in this very difficult moment I remember the um the first days of the conflict one of these moments uh really deep in my heart one of the Bishops that lives in United States I will not mention his name he called us and basically said you know you have war going on how can we help in reality the the physically could not help us in in no way because the banks did not work the logistics were disrupted at that time but that that phone call that he made and his willingness to help was more precious than anything else it was very valuable that somebody calls and he you know that they are thinking about you because they are praying and willing to help we thank you very much for the support and please continue to pray if to mention a little bit about what the church is doing uh right now during this time our mission and our goals have not changed fasting praying and preaching it's we continue to do that and it's it's more challenging for us because a lot of people are leaving Ukraine sometimes is not easy it's not just the regular members of the church that leave Ukraine but it's somebody who is in leadership roles in church and as choir directors deacons sometimes even pastors that's why we need to rise up this new generation of preachers ministers and it's not an easy task but we continue to serve do uh services and pray and fast from the first day when of the conflict the church has been very United on the front to help to to participate not just in prayer but in any way as I mentioned our region is the biggest uh concentration of Believers in Ukraine and as a result we were able to do a lot of work and V just people would organize get together start cooking food you know pirogis all those different things just sending and they organize it themselves knowing that that's going to be the need there were send with this food with prayer towards the the areas where it's needed it is a thousands of refugees that we were able to pick him up from the those hot zones take him to a local area and then direct them on their way further in their Journey you know uh uh Church buildings have become a centers for refugees and centers for cooking food you know I would never thought to myself that you would have to actually put signs on the fence of our church that you know smoking on the uh in the yard or territory of the church is prohibited because different type of people would come and visit [Music] us they did not have a understanding what it's what the place is and that's why we have to educate them you know we would always ask those refugees we are more than welcome to accept you but please make sure you don't have any pets with you what's interesting from K OAS from OAS they would all bring some kind of PS with them and we have the most conservative church called I open the church building and there a three big dogs are standing [Music] there you know it was quite an adjustment for many people but we still did it and helped them what do we do as a church these days we pray and fast we continue to cook food even though people are a little bit tired and exhausted but they continue especially in the time of winter where the food doesn't spoil very easily we can continue to send to people that are in need over there also the milit military personnel you know Church in Ukraine has a lot of been entrusted with the help that we received from Europe and other places that being sent our way during summer we'll were able to gather some of the warm clothes which was not you know usable or needed during the summertime but now the request keeps Rising you know our people in our area they you know really uh try to plan ahead had so they have Woods you know that would take care of their needs for the next four or five years it would never thought to my come to my mind that we would be actually exporting this wood to the areas where it's needed you know when somebody asks what are you going to be taking with you and we say we're just going to take um uh firewood and people you know might not understand us what what we do but this need is great there especially in the areas where the villages were completely destroyed they don't have any gas lines or any source of heat hundreds of trucks we was send with the wood to those areas where where it's called and where it's needed you know sometimes I think to myself being a bishop a person who should be maybe taking spending more time on the spiritual things would need to spend less time with this wood or any kind of other physical health but then when those Brothers came back with the video reports sharing about those elderly people who pick up this stack of wood and they cry because it was so needed for them you realize you need to continue and Go on you know our people are hard workers they plant a lot of potatoes you know it's not very U profitable to sell it because you know it's it's very cheap and the profit margins are very low but people still plant potato we can collect and then the whole trucks we would load up the potatoes and be able to send and I can go on with with what we do more [Music] you know the war brought the different challenges became something uh a burden something additional that we did not have before now if we were to talk about our local area our re region you know you know a lot of people they left Ukraine and now we have a challenge where uh we need uh you know ministers to minister in those churches because on The Daily even hourly basis there is more widows that being added to the lives because of someone passed away we continue in this mode but we continue to pray and fast and help the Ukrainian people but you have to be very honest and confess that the type of work that we do and the things that are listed will not be possible without the help from United States everything requires a lot of funds especially transportation and we thank the American people and also Slavic diaspora here in United States because there's many Americans they work through our diaspora here in United States to help us well that's why we able to do what we do because together with you thank you and not to go back to what I was sharing with you earlier I would like to point out one more thing you know with the first three day when this War Began I did not realize how lost I would be and probably was a reaction of many ukrainians and for the first three days I was disoriented I did not know what to do but then quickly we we we came to realization what we need to do to help the refugees and and what else to do next you know prior to the war we had uh about 30 plus uh church building projects uh going on at the same time When The War Began we stopped that completely and we decided to help the people but the reality is you cannot continue in this war mode and live uh as if you know and focus on that that's why we encourage our people to live a full life to continue their build church building projects to continue to Ministry to continue to live a normal life but but about six years into the war we decided we will continue to resume those projects that we started we're not starting any new but finishing up those that we already started and I would like to for you to invite you to participate in one of the social centers we looking to open in one of the um counties that we live in it is the city of Barz where we are planning to work with disabled children and we're looking for support and we have just a little bit more work to do to complete this project and we would like to use that to minister to uh in in a social way but also in a spiritual well to those people we had a good uh connection relationship with the organization that works with disabled people people about 80 of them uh we were able to work with but our goal is to continue this type of work going forward to therefore we invite you to to for the opening ceremony but we need just a little bit more work to complete it to to the end the word of God that I like to share with you it's going to be Psalm 65 verse five text and Matthew is going to be 16 Verse 18 Matthew 1618 those are the two passage i' like to share with you and also some of the thoughts you know the reality of life especially in Ukraine that when we talk to people we we have uh talk about the the the human actions should what people do what we do what our plans are that's mainly the the main theme of our conversation the interest in media and the things that other people do and the focus is on on what people do what's going on around sometimes we analyze people analyze certain events and then things change and we maybe experience a disappointments in people because we uh analyzed people's actions and and what they do and and when reading these passages I would like to invite you to look at the The Works of our God because I was when I was driving with with these young ladies we were talking about the beautiful things around us and especially when we see what's what's around us that points us to the acts to the works of God you know if feel a little bit more careful we'll be able to see God's work in [Music] everything one brotheri he recently passed away was a wonderful brother when we would travel in to the city of Rea to for the brother's Fellowship we were talking about certain passages from the word of God in our discussion and then suddenly this BR brotherwood became so silent and started to look out of the window and you know I know him very well and I I expected that you know he's about to say something next and he was quiet for certain time and he just look out the window you know the road that we are traveling on usually takes us through the the Pine Woods and this brother he he starts to speak he says how wonderful God the Creator look he made those trees green but he selected the type of green that doesn't really bothers our eyes you know when we take use the these blessings in our life that God's given us but many times we miss out uh the what he did because that's why the the the type of green that God created does not really bothers our eyes it is so wonderful to look at God's [Music] Works uh according to the passage that we find in the word of God and the life experiences of yours or mine God works they are they are perfect they are always for the benefit of us and while thinking about it I were able to extract some of the principles one of them is that everything that God does has a uh special purpose he doesn't do something just because or something that is chaotic and another very good point is that everything that God begins he always ends that's why In This Very fast-paced life and this life of Technology especially for me what's what what I value is to look and see God's works good right perfect and they are for the benefit of of us and when we get excited about it we don't experience disappointments as a result because people around us they they get disappointed or they disappoint us that's why we need to see to to witness the the God's work and I would like to highlight some of the passage that I highlight about the greatness the the great works of our God when we read the the word of God the first thing that is is the creation and when you read this the creation day by day we agree he is a perfect creator and for that I'd like to say praise be to the Lord everything is created by Him perfect everything's completed even the last day the seventh day the day of rest and there's nothing us as humans can add to that and what's interesting anytime there's any attempt by humans to to improve the the things that God created all they do instead of improving they they they they damage it because he made everything perfect maybe somebody was able to wanted to take the the birds out of the the the process of creation but chinesee people they realize that they they need it to be they are part they should be part of this [Music] ecosystem you know the the scientists and those that uh work with bees they say if you were to remove bees out of this ecosystem and there creates a series of different issues and when we analyze when we read what God has created great is the Lord good good his word they are perfect ones they are for the benefit and blessing of people praise be to our Lord and now the story that we read and find in the books uh in the pages of word of God is when the Israel was taken out of the Egypt we realize and we know that this is was the plan of God at from the beginning God found this opportunity to in order to take the people of Israel out of the Egypt God has ra raised Moses he lifted him up and through him he was able to complete this and in humans understanding that type of process is not possible because this um this this this powerful uh um Empire and this really small nation that is in captivity but God he for told about them leaving the Egypt and we know the Miracles that he used to to fulfill this promise and then finally Israelites were able to leave the the Captivity and it says God he took out the Jews out of the [Music] Egypt but while leaving this captivity they have so many doubts and they have so many fears and we who read this uh story and they know the story very well we would have easily said don't worry it's nothing to stress about and now that we know the ending of that story we would have told them don't worry don't be scared when the army of pharaoh is chasing you they will die in their sea but the way they reacted they reacted because they were full of fear and and and they were scared you know they are singing the the the song of of worship but not on the the right coast and while they are in the desert they ask him many questions what we here what we going to do what we going to eat you know if we were to speak to them today knowing the outcome we would tell them don't worry about it there will be water there for you in the desert uh you and you will also have food over there and we know they they have both food and water but Jews they had a lot of doubts they had a lot of complaints we if who was asked knowing the outcome we'll be able to tell them and encourage them but if we inviting you look at the great works of God but the question is do we have the right to tell others if we ourselves full of fear and full of being scared when you look at the The Works of God during the time of creation or the time when Israel was taken out of the Egypt we as Believers we uh uh we know this and we realize and understand that that's the truth how many times we are ourselves full of fear and trembling but I would like to remind that God has created everything and in the world and everything that's in it and he was able miraculously to take out Jews out of the Egypt if he was able to provide for the God's people in the desert by giving them food and water looking at those great works of God it' be great that you and us we would trust him deeply in everything in our life great is the works of God and if he was able to do it then he's able to do it now and when we look forward into the future he's able to take care of us then may God bless us to trust him more job he once said Lord you are the one who can do everything your purpose or your plan nobody can stop it this is the type of God that we read on the book on the pages of the Bible this is the type of God that was doing those miracles for the nation of Israel this is the kind of God that is really escorting and guiding us on this Earth I would like to point out two more things about the great works of God it is the story of salvation it is the journey or the prize that God have chosen to save you and me it is how he displayed his love towards his towards the people through Jesus Christ and we know this passage everyone who believes in him would not God love the world that everyone who believes in him would not perish but would have eternal life and this salvation was given for you and me by God when we read the gospel it says there is no other name given to man that is able to be saved when it comes to Salvation there is no other name there's no other way there's no other option in order for us to be saved and now we stand on it that that's the works of God it is God's plan apost Peter he says you are not being paid by the uh uh the gold or silver but you're being paid by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and then Peter continues this was planned way before the creation of the world and then when you think about this morning you realize how great is God you are before the creation you had this tremendous Plan of Salvation to save people to save Sinners Like Us and God He sent Jesus Christ at its time that you would have salvation through faith did people try to be saved Jews did they will bring in sacrifices they were doing different rituals they were killing this sacrifice they were putting their hands on it they were doing all these rituals but Bible tells us and reminds us what what what was out of it you know these transitions these these rituals they were not they not perfect they couldn't uh complete its work from year to year they would continue to repeat it and do the same thing but God's Plan of Salvation is a perfect one it is a complete one because through Jesus Christ we have salvation and the sacrifice of Jesus is the death of Jesus Christ his blood that was shed for us is giving us forgiveness and salvation makes creation New Creation out of us and New Life in Jesus and it's God's projects it's God's Works in our life and when you think about this there's one more thing I'd like to point out people who were uh kicked out of the Garden of Eden they they they they were taken into one of the uh moments that God allowed to happen they enter into [Music] the in yeah in a in a time limit or say he put a limit to how long they will live he says 70 the most 80 years old what does it mean and I would like to for us to to talk about a little bit more you know after the fall of the uh first sin the the person or any human being realized that they have limit to the life that they able to last on this Earth and this time was maybe pushing certain individuals and in in a time that we live in also is to think about the following I'm being born to this earth I will spend some time living here and during this time I need to do something I need to know the purpose of my being and this limit of time they be given to humans for many it pushed him to think about salvation to think about future that's why a perfect God he uh you know offered the world his perfect Plan of Salvation and I would like to conclude my sermon with the with the passage about the Christ the the one who built the church was God able to accomplish The Plan of Salvation of humans yes the answer is yes you know the Testament of that is us here as Believers we are saved by Jesus Christ is the confirmation that his plan worked church is Believers of Christ the church is the bride of Christ that the question is was he able to build the church yes the Salvation was completed by sing individuals that came together to become the Church of Christ for me it's very important because there's believers who are saved and they United at Faith together as as Church of Christ God has planned it and he did it for the Savior was given to us and he was the church is is created by Him and we are part part of that church the enemy wanted to stand against it but there were were not successful and the the the the heaven is rejoicing to because of the saved ones and God is rejoicing because of the church that is here on Earth when he was able to create church when he was able to build it he can protect it today and he will come for the church and he will this joyous uh meeting together Christ and the church it will be a great future church and Christ in eternity it is God's work and it's God's plan and nobody can stop it he working doing it and he'll continue to do that in what he has planed what he has pronounced I would like to invite you to pray together May our sight of Faith be on God and the works that he do it will help us to build our faith in him not to live in fear or worries but to live in Hope and and and and and and work for him God's works are great and God is working amen hallelujah be
