for them no matter what and that's our job we're supposed to just be mindful that in in everything we do we have to be able to profess that into people's lives let them know that they are children of are able to have because you are our Father in Heaven you have called each and every one of us by name to be your child father God you want us to be in your presence in every part of the day father God and right now in this moment you are here with us let us just open our hearts let us call out to you and listen to your voice listen to what you have to say to us listen to what you have to say through the preachers through the testimonies every day buddy that is going to be speaking and father God we thank you not for what you did but for just who you are that you are our everlasting father you are all loving father father God and we just want to praise you and give you thanks for that hallelujah let us be able to pour out your glory on to other people let us be willing vessels father the Holy Spirit and I actually really like what Dan said in that moment of worship how he mentioned that that person is not yet a child of God but like pastor said in the morning service is predestined or chosen so the people out there like he said God loved the whole world so all people have that are our kind of God God wants them to be saved so you know a lot of times we'll look at people you know out there in the world sometimes we'll be like oh well you know they're way too out there they're just not going to come or we already tried but you know God still wants that person yes it is there well it's in their will to decide but are we doing our job showing that love and showing that kindness and gentleness towards those people in order for them to see Jesus through us you know we may think that they're not doing a good job finding Jesus but are we doing a good job serving Jesus and helping them find Jesus so that's kind of something that hit me during that time after what what Dan said but we're gonna have open mike here shortly and we have Amy she already you know step forward she had something to share so she'll be going first but I want to keep in mind or you guys to keep in mind you know just like I felt something off of what Dan said you know and if you feel something in your spirit you just feel like something you know God's kind of urging you maybe to share maybe it's a word that will touch somebody's heart today and they can you know we can plant the seed that can help them move forward in whatever situation they are in in life so actually before we begin I would like to pray and ask the Holy Spirit because without him we can't move forward so for him to you know touch our hearts and to inspire us and to reveal you know to us what he has in store so let us stand to our feet just a quick prayer before we begin this testimony some open-mike father God we come before you and we thank you for the opportunity to gather here to to worship your name God and praise your holy name God we also asked that your Holy Spirit accompany us here tonight God and that it speaks to the hearts of the people here God so that inspires us and and we have revelation Donnan and and the passion and desire to move forward God and expanding your kingdom and also a revelation in our life God and and how we move forward and our families died and in our workplaces God whatever it may be we pray that your Holy Spirit be here touching the hearts and inspiring us tonight God in Jesus name we pray amen Amy you can come hello everyone you bear with me I have some stage fright and I might stumble a little but I was going to just share something I learned about throughout life but I wasn't really going to share testimony but now now that I think about it I think I should [Music] after I got baptized it was amazing like my life was great I had everyone that loved me and all that I'm not really sure what happened bobbly like a year later or something I guess a lot of people say the Devil attacks you later after baptism and um he started putting negative thoughts in my head he started making me think that all these people don't love me that I kept getting put to the side stuff like that so I kind of stopped going to church I know that there was a God and I've always knew that considering the situation or the place I grew up in but it was more put into my head I never really thought of it myself because I grew up with it and you don't really think about it you're just like oh that's how life is then I started thinking about it does God is God real is all that but I never doubted God was real I just lost faith so when for a while about a year so I haven't been going really much to church I then distant let's just say that and I realized that like I was not happy there was lots of things going on and I was always confused it was never clear or nothing when my life was clear I wasn't sure why I was here all that and then um one day I got this feeling that I should go to church so I started to go into church again there was this one service it was actually an American service like this I think some of you might remember it the Prophet I'm not sure who he was I think so yes him he I don't know I guess this is what I was thinking for a couple years I never like this is the first time I've early besides the baptism part that I knew for sure that God was with me but this is the first time after that that I've actually thought God is actually real this is because I know I'm not the only one I just don't feel like God is listening me that God just doesn't really care about me I mean why would he care about one person out of billions of people but one what the Prophet I think is a prophet right I didn't think he would be real until he got to me right when he started talking I burst out crying he told me he was talking like God was talking straight to me this is where he not unless he's said because I don't remember Foley he's like you were not alone anymore you're gonna know the truth you're not gonna be around lies you're gonna um you're gonna not there's gonna be no more silence no more waiting and your prayers will finally be heard because and I cried because for a long time I could not hear God a long time and I felt abandoned sort of he told me to throw be I won't be put aside anymore I won't be abandoned anymore and ever since then I had the faith came back not fully I'm still working on it but it's coming back little by little um so I started going to church even more and I started reading the Bible I'm still working on that I'm not perfect I have my moments it's still impatient I still have my outbursts and I still do things that I still say and everyone saying so but it's like I yell you know it's still there and hope little or a little it's going away but I finally realized that God is there because little by little I've been seeing little things come into my eyes that God is there if you take a minute to look around you wherever you are you can see a little part pieces of God in different tips and different people there was a couple times I saw people doing nice things for others and no one noticed him and then one time there was this guy he was falling he had fallen he's just short he's trying to get up he's struggling no one was there and I went to go up help him and he's like you know I never thought anybody who helped me out and I realized that sometimes God sends you people help you out and and then it reminds me of what Paul our past youth pastor said last youth service is that if you it shows that you have the holy spirit with you and God with you if you are getting better even if you still have flaws if you're getting better you're on the right track and same with today I like what I said that not everyone is with God but he wants try to get everyone towards God and everyone in the process yes and also what Sam and his music said I'm trying to find something that's right for me why I got a lime here that's my next process I know I'm back with God and I'm trying to read the Bible and all that now I'm trying to well that says he will not leave you he will always be with you it says but I am not convinced that neither death nor life neither Angels nor demons neither the present nor the future nor any powers neither height or depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God with this Christ Jesus our Lord and that made me confident in my relationship with God and I had a lot of plans and I realized my I've been thinking of this charity to do for a while now and nós has been trying to help me out with that but we never really got on it and the more I think about it the more I read the Bible the more I'm headed towards that direction it was just an idea at first but now I'm set on it I am I realized that that's what God wants me to do to help people they usually can't be helped and and you will have a lot more for me to come all that I know that for sure and all I wanted to say it was that I know there's some people here that believe that he's not here he's not listening to you he doesn't care or he you can't hear him or feel him or contact him because I didn't I was able to pray for a while now I can it takes time and patience I realize patience and time are the number one thing with God because he will find the time and place to give you what he has planned for you for a while yeah yes she touch my heart you know why because this is the good example that she not just follow the people she personally decided find out the way of God for her life and encourage each of you but not just okay I listen the sermon or somebody says no you it's it has to be personal I remember when I was you I have so much questions but my I had exactly same go through but open the Bible we find it is it true is it this with that what you've done is the blessing of God and I encourage each of you that you personally you listen the sermon for example today or yesterday take you Bible and learn it's a true you know what I'm talking about personally this has to be style of your life not because the pastor woman is saying or evangelist no you have a Bible you have a heart the whole spirit always come from you so god bless you let's pray for her the Lord continued your audience is your may God bless you with your testimony today I'm going to share a short testimony about the missionary trip I went on like at one time pastor he said he pointed out kids and said who wants to be a missionary when they grow up I was one of the kids that raised their hand it was I want to say thank you kids whenever I now whenever I went on this missionary trip it was a great experience for me to go with my friends and family and I don't like my whenever my dad first told me I was so happy and I wish will never I wish it to go on more missionary trips and I like to point out more people to say they should go up there and go to Mission Nature praise God awesome testimony by Amy and encouragement by Sam before I say anything else does anyone else you know may be moved by anything and oh we got one in the back I mean you guys better raise your hands quick because people are gonna steal your ideas so hello everybody I just have a short word that I want to share you know today is September 8 2009 teen it's kind of important date for me some of you may know one year ago today I got baptized here at church and it's it was just so amazing the whole experience going through it you know it just really lifted me up spiritually because before I got baptized I always wanted to go and take these classes and get baptized but I was always afraid you know that the devil had like this hold on me he had one thought that always kept coming back to my mind is you're not perfect you're not ready and this is just something I want to tell you guys these words are he has no power over you you're not ready you're not perfect none of us are perfect we never will be ready we never will be ready but in Christ Jesus he helps us overcome this you know when I was trying to get baptized what encouraged me was our pastor Paul our youth pastor he preached to us he said for baptism you're never gonna be ready to get baptized you just have to take this step of faith and Jesus will meet you you just have to take this step towards him and he will take two steps towards you and I wanted to read a short word that I saw a really interesting picture one of my friends posted it says Jacob was a cheater Peter had a temper David had an affair Noah was a drunk Jonah ran from God Paul was a murderer Gideon was insecure Miriam was a gossiper Martha was a worrier Thomas was a doubter Sarah was impatient Elijah was moody Moses stuttered Zacchaeus was short Abraham was old and Lazarus was dead God doesn't call the qualified he qualifies the called if this is just such strong words for me because it pushes us it encourages us you know there's these so many great names from the Bible these people that had such great feats over the devil they had such great moments of faith and God but here it sure tells you none of these people were they're just like you and me they they also had their own problems but when they took this step of faith towards God he took this that two steps towards them I just want to encourage you guys in any ministry and anything that you want to do with God you're never gonna be ready you're never gonna be perfect so much so that you're gonna think oh now I'm ready you just have to take this step of faith and God he will make you holy he will make you perfect through Jesus Christ in his blood this is this is what we have to remember the only way we could be ready is through Jesus amen praise God so again before I so I do have some I do have something to share but I will eventually yes well I hope anyways Eliana we were having just a little back story so we were having lunch earlier today and me and ego were kind of teasing her just kind of saying alright we feel like you have something to share tonight you know that has he's gonna put something like we're gonna pray and then he will have something yeah like no no no even right before the service Astor's like no no but look at this we prayed I'm sure you were spraying - I don't doubt it and here she is Liliana's would always go to share with us what God put on our heart hi everybody so it like it like that also saying it took a lot for me to like come up here and speak because I always find like excuses like I'm really scared to talk in front of you and and so it took a lot for me to come up with then I heard thinking and really if I can't talk about like Jesus to like my fellow brothers Institute in Christ how am I supposed to talk about him to like other people like in this world so I decided to come up and for a long time I just had like a small just a really small testimony story thing that I wanted to share so I was walking like in the lunch line at school and there was these two kids behind me and they were like talking about the Bible and like stuff like that and I got really interested so I just decided to join their conversation and I said oh what are you guys talking about and um one of the kids he knew me and so he turned around he's like oh we're talking about like God but I don't like maybe you don't like maybe you're not a Christian or something and it really just like hit me like my whole life I really like blended in with everyone at school like I didn't do anything bad but I've never really like stood out and even like in the church if I wanted to raise my hands during worship or something and I looked around and not many people were doing it I wouldn't do either but I just wanted to like say that I want to be working on that because like God caught I've always been like a follower or like someone that blends in but God calls us to like be leaders and like stand out and be the light and so I just wanted to encourage everyone to like start trying like I am and start praying about it just to start being the light and asking God to help us stand out and so that people know like in school at work and everything that we are a Christian and that we are not ashamed of our faith and that we can bring other I tell himself I'm like okay I'll go up there I'll be cool like look I'm shaking right now but um I'm here with the praise report and before I get into the praise before I'm gonna have to give you some backstory past past couple months oh man now already um couple months I was going to I've been going through a hard time you and I and I really didn't share I really didn't share with anyone about it I mean yeah there's a few people here and they're like but never really I kept to myself and then like I slowly I slowly started getting more and more like I thought I was a simple guy you know we all are but then I realized that I've been I've been going really deep into sin and and I got scared cuz like past a couple weeks ago not even like a couple months ago I realized that I don't just like Amy I don't I don't hear I don't hear God in my life anymore you and not really scared me like I I didn't I didn't know where to go on and I just kept it to myself and yeah I tried working on me like here Sunday I'll pay attention I'll I don't see what's up and then like two days later that firing for God just went away and who was going on and on and then and then it complete like I thought it was like I couldn't hear God but now I realized that he was there I just really wasn't I convinced myself that he wasn't there and I'm actually he was not like I didn't like he was there but I liked him calling I didn't hear nothing from and so um last week I I have no idea where I'm going with this I decided I'm a hard to the thing but um I didn't hear God's voice so then I decided to take that step I last week my parents don't even know about this I I shared with my youth members somebody like some parts of it world was going with and I I talked to Paul we had the whole confession thing and then after that I played I'm I'm proud to say I cannot hear a god I can now hear God in my life I mean here I'm stumbling a couple couple times a week I'm stumbling but other than that I when I pray I know that he's with me when I'm at night I know that he's with me I know that I'm not alone that with him if we're obedient to him we can get through anything and and the truth always come out no matter who I I've been going through that personally as well but that's that's all I have to share can I get two acts 1710 up I'll leave it up for a second one gets it but it was really funny what amy was talking to i remembered that i spoke during their baptism and i said it's hard it is it's it's not an easy commitment to make when you get baptized we have you become a christian you go to war this is why we have the armor of god because you are going to war you're going up war against your own family sometimes your best friends your brothers and sisters it's not so strangers it's those people who are around you that you will go to war the Word of God says your own family may turn against you that's why we have to rely on God right here's another point that pastor was saying that I really really like Paul is commending a church you know he says then the bride and immediately sent away Paul in Silas away by night to Berea when they arrived they went into the synagogues of the Jews these were more noble than those in Thessalonica in that they received the word with all readings and searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so therefore many of them believed also of honorable when women which were Greeks and of men not a few but when the Greeks of Thessalonica had knowledge that the Word of God was preached of Paul at Berea they came to their also and stirred up the people he commands the church for not only accepting what they said but verifying what they said and I I see a future of Christianity and as a nation of America I think most people might disagree with me but I just see the way it's going I see a nation that's going to be more Christians but incorrect faith I think it made people are saying that Christians are going to go away go away that atheism is going to take over I think the opposite gonna happen but not in the way that most people think I think what's gonna happen is Christianity has become very popular very modernized and it's going to be wrong it's going to be preached incorrectly it's going to be used incorrectly and it's going to be just so you can fit into a club so you can be this it's going to be skewed so that you can feel accepted you can feel however you want but it's going to go against everything that is in the Word of God and that's that's the way I see the future going and I say be careful verify everything that is said I got convicted a little while ago of watching too many online sermons and just listening and subconsciously like bringing it and bringing it in I wasn't sitting down I wasn't reading if it was actually exactly what was said in their scripture I wasn't I wasn't actually examining what was said and I was accepting these beliefs like they were my own just because somebody was preaching it but there's people preaching right now that you can come to and be gay and be Christian you can become a transgender and you can be Christian because that's how you feel that's how you feel but I know because it's what God says I know this is wrong this is how it should be I shouldn't be sinning I shouldn't be doing this I know that not because what I feel because but I know I know God is with me I know he loves me I know he is there for me I don't feel that he's there for me I don't know I don't feel that he hears me I know it there's a huge difference in those two because he says so and I'm still working on another little sermon between the two points but I just want to encourage you guys no don't feel no hold on to what he has promised because it is from him amen thank you David so I think that's it's I'll share what I kind of got put on my heart to share very shortly it's interesting because it's kind of just the last hour I guess this whole service it's kind of a testimony of what I'm going to share coming into here I came in kind of late and not usually not only couldn't make it and stuff so like you know and we're trying to get we kind of mean Peter working on getting people to participate we were worried maybe it won't work out whatever and you know sitting there during worship I'm just like that's it I just have to give this into God's hands and I was praying and then I came up here and talked to you guys about it and if you'd noticed we prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to inspire the hearts of people to touch so they would share right so I took it and I just put it in God's hands and as you can see it bore fruit we saw the fruit you know people sharing their testimonies and I'm sure many of us were touched and received much out of what was shared and if you could put Amy's verse and the one that she shared from Romans Amy if you can remind me what it was yeah so something that have that's really been hitting me and I feel like it you know everything that's been talked about today kind of wraps it up so pastor pastor mentioned how you know Amy decided to make that own personal choice on finding God ruby was another one you know he was going through things and it wasn't it was actually his own personal decision it wasn't someone else David mentioned that he was listening to sermons and he was filtering you know it was going through his subconscious but he wasn't actually you know basically digesting it and asking God and looking into the Word of God to see if that stuff should be applied so what what does all of this mean is that and something that I kind of yesterday was like it was I had a complete breakthrough because last night now they went to the bridal shower as many of you may know and I was just at home and I just turned on some worship music and you know I've been doing a lot lately and I have my quiet time has been very short but yesterday I had a lot of time Nellie wasn't there you know and I just I could ease my mind so I just sat there turn on some worship music and it was probably like five six hours I literally I was like knocked out like I was just so overwhelmed it was like the only word it's literally the only word I can explain but it was it was basically like you know I started a business recently and just so many things were you know bombarding me and like and I just decided to just go like full surrender before God I was just like you know what like maybe I am doing a good job on the spiritual side of things maybe I'm helping people you know but like my life as far as like you know I guess my new marriage and you know my new business and all so I was like everything wasn't coming together and I decided that I need to just trust God with everything you know I had I I thought okay yeah so if I have a spiritual need I go to God but if it's for my business or my family you know I can ask God for like counsel but do it myself but like that full surrender is really what it takes because basically what I'm trying to say is that any of us here you know just come and listen to sermons and like based on what the person said we apply it to our life it's only gonna be good for so long it takes your own personal revelation from God it takes your own personal relationship with God it takes it takes God to literally impart something into your soul for it to actually be alive in you you know what I mean like you're gonna take advice from someone and it can be alive for like Ruby said two days you know but it literally takes you have to just come to full surrender before God is I'm not like it's not a joke like I mean for the youth maybe you haven't even tried it yet just like take an hour and just go buy yourself some we're just you know whether you turn on some music silence is good too you know whatever but make sure that your mind is like fully fully focused on just God and that's it like you know and just yesterday like I had so much breakthrough and so many answers given to me and not just to me but like for people that I know and and I'm thankful to God for that and I'm thankful because like I said nobody was here to share but we because we prayed before the service and we gave it into you know the Holy Spirit to take control and look what happened you know what I mean so that's why I'm sharing this right now is because the same thing I did last night you know everything was kind of all over the place and I just decided to come full surrender and give it first to God the holy or the Holy Spirit to take control and then everything else came into place a lot of times we take all the things we know and then we try we say we got counsel from God or advice and then we use our own understanding knowledge and wisdom to try to apply it to things in our life well that's not how it works we have to we have to go to God and then he will provide us with all those things so basically it should be God before us and a lot of times we're taking everything where people tell us what we read what we hear like David said and then we apply it so my encouragement to you all is just to spend more time with God on a personal level spend more time you know receiving personal revelation because as we heard today Amy got to the point that she got to why because she made that personal step she made a personal decision to find that faith again same thing with Ruby he was going through a hard time in his life what did he do he made that personal step it's that's what God wants that is waiting for us to make that personal decision you can't live on someone else's revelation you can't live on someone else's sermon it has to be yours and God has to impart it to you so that is that is my encouragement to you today and that's what God you know opened up to me as well and it's and it's made a tremendous you know the difference and breakthrough in my life so god bless you all are you guys ready for a prayer you know it's so interesting how the Holy Spirit move this evening in a way that he desire and he wants it's interesting how the Lord will answer your prayers you know it's I feel that in my spirit the two assignments tonight is the night of that outreach go and preach the gospel when amy saw the one man hold down she held him and he was so thankful and she received the revelation I can somebody I can be for somebody that an encouragement I can lift up the others and she do the right stuff she team up with the people she sure division and you already have a group of people with you and we should come and share with me about this project she's working on it we pray we pray a median and myself we just pray and pray anywhere whatever on the steps and the church was a pulpit was a formal prayer in your car but important you don't miss that moment once God speak to you just give it to him right away so on when you know this at the time do not miss that and it's today is just before we're gonna pray I felt in the spirit that two things need to be done it is just set up us for gone preach the gospel yesterday assignment that's at the part of the night like tonight praise and worship praise and worship thank you brother praising worship there's a one things but it's a gate why we need to praise because God doing something in our lives why we need to worship Him because he is worthy it is for this we need the encouragement we need the strength it is do things before I go in a couple Bible passages and would like to pray with you sincerely I had I had the ability to have a testimonies to I was able to to our witness to people at the job site and it was a nice one I was in a very home I was you know in the morning you come you feel that the Holy Spirit speak to you need to share the gospel but you don't know what to start and it was it was a so hot so gloomy day we work in there was a real working and one one one project there was a couple guys was working and they actually they actually kill our AC and they're the ones who responsible to us to be overheated and their job and they one guy was the black beard it was Friday night finally they get AC on and it was like I know and I have to close up the place and I said listen he said what we're gonna be another hour and I was waiting for for some some answers on the phone right and I asked him I said well I said Friday she said what he gonna do - mortix that I'm working said I'm planning to work on Saturday - what about Sunday I opened up and he opened a slide door for me I said I go to church he said now I look at him and said why not when they built the credibility with a guy he's sweating and outside I'm sweatin inside for a couple days we say how you doing he see the work ethics he know you're like how we be experienced back to how Amy experienced it they experienced that what personally in Christ Jesus so the focus in this prayer I really want to focus in on is that you know we may be going through all of these things all of these things may be standing against us but the one thing that will keep us safe and in peace from those things is Christ Jesus so the question is are we in him are we are we filling ourselves with him daily you know or are we just kind of trying to get by with our own strains so as we continue to pray and sing this song of how awesome Jesus is to just fill ourselves with him to be so that he remains in us so that when these things do come against us we are remaining in him and nothing can separate us from we can move forward and push forward continual you know remaining in him and him and us that that's what it takes to be a true Christian into to serve Him effectively so as we pray and sing let's ask him to who remain in us to come in us it too and even alone I feel like we cannot do it we can't just always remain in Christ Jesus alone but that's what Jesus gave us the church for that's what Jesus gave us each other for they gave us
