to him as well so he can fill us with his power and the ability to do you know what he would want us to do and that's to save souls and do and expand his kingdom so we'll go ahead and begin with about like the Holy Spirit and like how he acts first the Holy Spirit and it's like every time that you speak in the Holy Spirit and like have fellowship with the Holy Spirit and you say that about grieving the Holy Spirit and upsetting the Holy Spirit oh you don't want to do that because like if you're grieving the Holy Spirit's like you're upsetting it and let's say that's like your best friend the Holy Spirit walks to know with us every day life so like it's the closest thing to us if you hurt your budget best friend you don't want to hurt him like you don't want him to be upset at you you know everyone knows that and so like how much more should we not want to read the Holy Spirit which is a part of the Trinity which is God basically how much do we not want to hurt him it's like do bad to him I don't know how to explain it but and then we don't know when I was like kind of putting these two things together we don't know when our time is gonna come we don't know when we're gonna be able for last time like come back to those here it'd be like father God or repent he's like sorry God for this and this and just how important that is not even just to the Holy Spirit but to each other how often do we leave each other maybe an anger or maybe not having the best conditions that we could upset or anything and just I was watching one of the videos that like the whole sports world is just posting everything about hope about it and one of the guys just a normal commentator on the sports channel he's saying like like this is serious we never know when we're gonna go because it's an abrupt end he was only 41 years old he was like I thought I'd see him at the next game at the next show I'd be able to say hi Kobe or anything I don't even know how my relationship with him was and how important it is to each one of us were a family we're part of the church to be on that level with each other that every time we be were good with each other we're good with the Holy Spirit I just wanna just I know maybe like not completely pertains but just kind of something I was thinking about after the whole incident just whoever your God next to you whoever you see everyone in the church just tell them like God loves you I love you I'm glad that you're in my life I'm glad every day that every Sunday that I'm able to see you how important it is just to be with one another I just encourage each other that and just think about how we need to be with the Holy Spirit so much so that we're eight we're ready to come into heaven it's not a sad thing guys I like I know it kind of may be a downer but it's a happy thing so just turn to each other and say hello say God loves you I didn't hear you guys I love you guys too you guys have one more song [Music] [Music] to him earlier when you grieve the Holy Spirit you yourself are putting that fire out because you are doing something against him to hurt him so you're putting that fire out intentionally this song is actually saying let that fighter never go out let it let it never burn out make me a house of prayer and what is pray or prayer is communication with God so in order to communicate with God even you have to have that fire and has to be burning inside of you in order for you to communicate and be in fellowship with the Holy Spirit so as we continue singing the song set your mind in this in this prayer you know between you and the Holy Spirit so ask him to burn that flame to set if it's not on fire inside of you right now ask him to start that flame a fire inside of you and if it is inside of you let him let him you know spark it even stronger so that burns harder and stronger so that you truly become a house of prayer and let us let us pray and continue to sing the words of these songs god I ask you I ask you in Jesus all of us that are here today God we truly want to become an all-consuming fire by your Holy Spirit God everywhere that we go the things around us God let them let them be consumed by your Holy Spirit but your presence by your love God that every person in here truly become this house this vessel that is filled with your spirit and your power Jesus I ask you Holy Spirit come Holy Spirit make every single being in this place a house of prayer let it be a house of fellowship between you and your Holy Spirit let every person be in constant communion with you let them burn with a flame and with the power God that it will touch every single person around and not the people just the people around them but the environments are there in the rooms that they walk into God and the places that they go let your Holy Spirit be on them so powerfully God that it radiates oh through them let that fire consume everything everything in this world today God and I pray that through the people in this room today God let your fire burn and burn and burn in them night and day day and night at all times Jesus I asked you I ask you Jesus Jesus name let us sing these the hearts of the people in this room so that we truly leave here spiritually edified let us pray father God I thank you so much for this for this place that we are in and gathered together in your name Jesus and it is because we are gathered in your name we ask your Holy Spirit to come to this place we ask your Holy Spirit to open the hearts to touch the hearts of the people God and let the testimonies that be shared let the Holy Spirit stand behind them and the power of your Ward let it touch the hearts of the people in this room God we want to truly leave here edified we want to truly leave here renewed and replenished by your spirit God we want to be able to actually be transformed and changed by your ward and this is what we desire god we thank you so much and we ask for your so I started thinking like what could be like what's a testimony that I never realized was a testimony and then I saw one thing and I realized me waking up alone God giving me the breath of life every morning is alone a testimony that I could stand here and share for a long time but and I was going to go on with that but soon as Tara's mentioned about a fire I don't know where I'm going with this but he mentioned about fire in the beginning like right before a thing and I realized a great example that I could use like as God so yesterday well not yesterday this weekend we had a great we had a great trip to the islands the first night we got there like we had this small Jenk fire and then let's just say God is our fire right God is the fire actually go with this okay so God is a fire give me a few more yeah maybe okay okay so so okay as Terence we're talking about how House of Prayer was now I saw this vision as God God being the fire well like he was giving us the fire right we had the small fire and then we're warm wool huddled up there's like five dudes four yeah five dudes over like this small small fire it's like foot why like it was horrible and we all had to mm-hmm this is a tough one because I had it all set up in my head I promised it was way better than this okay okay we're all around this fire and God okay so God gave us this far like you'll never give up on us right he will always give us more so we're at this fire we don't have a lot and then we want to bet it was a very it was so cold like it was sleeping bags like everything you like you're internally cold like I went home and I was still cold I felt my organs even cold so he Gaelic he like he'll never give up on us he gave us his fire and then the next there's so much better I'm so sorry guys okay and then next morning we woke up and we had we like we decided one more time let me just come together okay and then the morning how did I I had this all set up right before I came on stage so I was going I was going with this story right okay okay I'm not over yeah I'm not done yet okay so we had this fire and like in my mind like you'll never be like sure he'll give it like we have wrong like we have to go through the trials right we had this small fire we weren't really warm but like it was warm at the time and then we had to go through a struggle and the struggle was going through the night it was super cold we just came from a small fire nothing to really have a swarm but and day now I got at the end day God always gives us the most the next morning we woke up and we like grabbed all the dead wood on the island and then we just made the hugest fire and then in my mind I saw as if like we always have little but God will always give us more we just gotta go through the struggle and the struggle was the night amen that's all thank you that was that was really good it was really good so pretty much what I got out of that is you know yeah so even though the fire may seem small one day you believe in him and even though you have a cold night you have hard times you wake up in the morning and he will give you a chance to gather all that dry dead wood and then put it together and make a big fire and God that's how God replenishes us so no matter what through the through the easy and the hard times we always trust God and trust in his promise to us anyone else anyone else have something that they have in their hearts he we by the way Kiwi I got I just got to throw this out there because Kiwi wasn't actually planning to play little box over there but you know I asked didn't really have anything on my mind but then that ice came up here and he had a word that he said that we are a house and that reminded me of a time that I listened to a sermon by a guy I don't know if you know he's a comedian Michael Jordan and know Michael jr. he's a Christian comedian so he said a sermon that we are a house and the door to our house is always open and inside of our house is a fellowship a gathering but outside of our house is the Holy Spirit it's God's out there but God knows that our house that the door to our house is open but he won't enter unless we walk out of the house and we let him in it's pouring rain outside of the house God is standing out there and he wants you to open that door to walk out the house and let him back in and that's really all I had to update last week they went into whatever little office would have probably a bunch of old ladies and they were begging you know their case and they just didn't care they were just like you know whatever they wouldn't listen to reason they didn't care so it's like all of a sudden this man walked in and they don't even know who the man was the man walked in and he they said everything changed and the man told them everything's gonna be all right he really that's like Jesus walked in and then he said then all the ladies were fine and he says don't worry everything's gonna be all right and you relax praise God praise God awesome testimony like still open because when the main word starts going through we're closing down so closing down shop so if you have something you know I'm sure I'm days over so he said he was found a full place to lay because day is out sometimes we feel like we come to the dead end nothing can do all the times just trust the Lord it's the best way just rest in despisers of good traitors headstrong HUD haughty lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God so you know we talked about we talked about the fire of the holy spirit grieving the Holy Spirit we talked about obedience and you know in this verse specifically the three things that really stand out or kind of wrap up the whole you know what the things that they list would be lovers of self which is you know putting yourself above everything else lovers of money which is Mammon money and then lovers of pleasure so you know just to kind of do an example I would like to draw it's like it would if you are if you're a lover of yourself but in the spirit this is what its gonna look like so when I'm walking around places walking around people you know doing living life it's gonna look like this meaning when you're looking at me I what you see is just me looking at myself that's all I care about Oh am I looking am I looking good is my hair fine is this good you know I mean even even the fact that when we go places we see something awesome God created what do we do first you know we gotta gotta get it in the back and I'm here at church with my friends I gotta take a picture right so we have we have this just obsession with ourselves in their society especially in this culture and this day in this age you know the fact that we take selfies with everything take pictures of everything we can't even enjoy a mountain or a waterfall that God created first we have to take a picture and post and and show people and you know tell people about how awesome it is that we are there so this is a example of you know what it looks like when people look at us and when we're supposed to be representing the glory of God but we're actually representing the glory of self because we are lovers of self second thing which I money right so it's the same exact thing except you're walking around and you're just like this right it what kind of person do I look like constantly walking around and just looking at my money you know you guys are like I don't even want to talk to that guy all that guy cares about is money but a lot of times you know we could be greedy people but in the spirit but just because it's not represented in the physical we don't think about it we're living our life for the American dream the awesome car the awesome job awesome dish all these you know these things that we want because we want to make money and become successful and we unknowingly put it before God unknowingly putting ourself our selfies are you know posting on social media whatever we put it before God and then the last one is lovers of pleasure I mean I don't even know how to explain some David queer so this is what it would look like if we're just constantly living for pleasure in the spirit so if I were to just walk around like this you know it's kind of funny like I'm just living for just for a good time you know I mean it and in the spirit people see that they see that you know walking around I'm just trying to have a good time if it doesn't if it's not if it's not the way I want it I don't want to do it if it's not gonna benefit me I don't want to do it this actually feels really good but that's not the point that's not why I'm up here thank you so what I'm trying to draw the line I'm trying to point out is at the end of the verse it says that rather than lovers of God right so in order for us to even be able to show God through ourselves these things cannot be existing because we have to have our eyes on God in order for him to be shown through us right if we have our eyes on ourself if we have our eyes on money if we have our eyes on pleasure of this world there's no way in this it's not possible because God's kingdom is of the Spirit and if in the spirit we are showing those manifestations then there's no way that people can see God in us it's just not possible so the whole point of why I'm saying this is how important it is to truly especially how we the fast was brought up we are trying to rid ourselves of ourselves rid ourselves of the greed of this world and rid ourselves of the pleasure of this world food you know social media all these things why because we want to get closer to God we want to love God and we want to be able to show him in our life more right so my desire as we go into prayer is for us to truly like I guess think about this and the importance of it like we can't see in the spirit because we are in this world we are of this world you know we're not in this world because we were born again but God still didn't pull us out into the spirit so we see spiritual things know we're still in this world so we have to understand that our actions in this world when we are constantly indulging ourselves in selfies and just you know living for ourselves how do we look how do we look on our Instagram how we look on that and that's all we care about that's what it's gonna look like in the spirit if all we care about is our job and our this and our that and that's our priority that's how it's gonna look like in the spirit we don't see it but it's happening and the importance of putting those things below and putting our sight on God and being lovers of God and his kingdom and what he's trying to do above all those things because first of all the Bible does say seek first the kingdom of God and all others and all other things will be added to you so that that first and foremost should tell us these things and I've noticed in my life I mean I've talked to Dan about this recently a lot too and even thought of it just the fact that you disconnect yourself from the natural world or the carnal world and you just put your eyes on God you will be begins to start seeing the things of his kingdom you will start to do you will start to see the benefits of putting those things down like when we when we're going into the past I don't know if whoever is doing the fast if you've already started to see these things you know as you're lit just days go by and you start to see God's kingdom manifest before you because you're more focused on what God's doing than what you're doing you're more focused on what God's doing then what you're trying to accomplish or your you know your selfish ambition or your motives you see God you see his kingdom and you know we're gonna pray and we had a request for a song David if you could pull it up and when we pray and worship the song is Yeshua it's Jesus and as we sing it just you know really imagine Jesus because he is the king of the kingdom we're talking about he is he is the king that sits on the throne and he is actually the one that we are supposed to put our eyes to and and and it is through him that his we can establish his kingdom here on this earth right and we put away these things of self greed you know and pleasures of this world and we're fasting and we're trying to focus on his kingdom so just like I said you're like it was said in the morning so his kingdom can come to this earth and we are all every single person in here as a believer that is our goal there is no other goal there is no other goal it said our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name your kingdom come your will be done everything else that's secondary that's secondary the first thing that said your kingdom come your will be done when you do those things everything else will be taken care of so you can go ahead and play the song we can stand to our feet and just picture Jesus picture him sitting on the throne and and just understand that you if you are truly a disciple you know the cost may be costly it may be hard and it is a lot of times we want to do what we want to do and there's nothing wrong with having a good time and enjoying our time here on earth but we cannot put aside the kingdom of God we cannot put aside the importance of why we're Christians you know it means so like let's learn you know in a way with fellowship of the holy spirit and him guiding us so he can place us correctly and properly where we belong in what we're supposed to be doing here on earth so as we sing let us just let us just picture Jesus and let us picture where we received by the father but this is a kingdom principle that we all need to understand is that it's not us fixing ourselves it's not us being right being good enough being he wants you to just come he just wants you to just be available and he just wants you to make step towards him because in the story that says that he when he was walking towards his father his father wasn't just sitting there waiting for him to come bow down before him and repent and do all these things he it says that his father saw him in a distance and he ran to him with open arms he ran to him with open arms because he said he he didn't look you know a lot of times we think first you have to repent first you have to do this first you have to you know in the kingdom the first thing you have to do is come to him when you come to him repentance will come forgiveness will come you will be redeemed you will be sanctified but none of this can happen unless you come to him that's why when when you think about repentance you're like oh I can't do that that's that's not possible well yeah because it is impossible it is when you come to him that makes it possible when you come to him repentance is possible forgiveness is possible miracles miracles are possible through him we need to come to him and everything that we think is impossible will become possible everything we think we can't get rid of we will get rid of you know Jesus is the provider of all of these things it is his kingdom and we need to make this step into his kingdom in order to receive these things and no matter what place you are in today he is calling you into his kingdom he has a purpose for you and that and you might think oh well I'm stuck in this I can't get away from this I can't stop doing this the number one thing he wants you to do is to come to him when you start walking towards him he will run towards you with open arms and welcome you and then you can sit down and talk about what you need to fix and what you daily okay what can we do from tomorrow which is Monday it's any room to improve to daily preach the gospel the people we see on the streets in the college in the school so what do you think what process because if this is truly a goal you know God's will for us to use this service to bring souls to him you know if you are yielding to the Holy Spirit and you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you when you're sitting next to your friend you will start to feel like oh tell him this tell him you know you know invite him to the service and usually it can be different for different people but this the Holy Spirit will guide you through the process so even if you're scared yourself if you stay close to the Holy Spirit he will help you in those situations well beyond the end of it we don't want to be out of the camera so start with one question do you know what's God's will for you in this 2020 oh my goodness that would be open conversation I mean that's the one right there I can offer you one question to your friends to people even if you don't know how to talk so easy use the English text just just put the text on your phone and just put a scent do you know what God's will for you
