blessed to have everything I need and everything I want so I thank God for that it's funny how God prepares you sometimes too because I wasn't prepared to speak today but God did give me a word something short shared that I wasn't expecting to so there's a church where I'm from in Venice that started growing over the years it was a very small American Church and I ended up going to it a few years ago I saw a lot of people from school and I saw a lot of Slovaks which surprised me and it was maybe like the this size Church in the very beginning about five years ago so every maybe few months I popped in when I was down there and I didn't come here and they slowly grew grew grew and they they're becoming one of the biggest churches in that area last time I went they expanded to a whole new building they built on campus the whole place is packed they have three services so there they're pretty busy but I ran into somebody that Slavic that worked at that church volunteered and I ran into her at the Northport conference and she said leave that church and asked her why and she said I took I was being convicted she said she said that when she looked at her church her church believe in divorce they believed in gay marriage in homos are in homosexuality and transgenderism in Halloween because that was coming around and she said her church believe and all those things and through that she's like I was starting to believe all those things even though I didn't want to I knew the Bible said so she said she felt convicted and she left that church and it was really funny because my dad had friends that came into town and they're moving in and they decided they weren't to look for a church and all the churches that they were looking for were a lot of older people so they were trying to look for something young and they ended up going to that church so when the dad was submitting his kids into Sunday School the Sunday School teachers were asking his daughter's what are you a boy or a girl they're looking at the teacher and they're like what do you mean I'm a girl no no what do you want to be called a boy or a girl she's like girl her dad's like all right you know uh but that got me to start thinking you know this is one of the biggest most popular churches in that area and they believe this and I started thinking to myself you know I can stand back I don't have to fight against this I don't have to push against this I you know somebody else will speak for me somebody else will stand up against this and then I remembered when we were at a missionary conference in Atlanta uh a guy got up and he says bear with me if I can bear with me but I'm gonna share a crazy idea he says I believe the lbgtq F Y Z community is doing something right he said they represent less than 1% of the US population less than 1% and how much power do they have because they organize behind behind one idea one thing and they have so much sway that they're changing laws they're changing schools they're changing they're changing so much and how much Christians make up in this population and we can't even decide on a single thing together through the denominations we can't decide and get together so that got me thinking about you know having to stand up having to be bold what if I'm put in a situation where I have to say this is wrong even though the world outside is saying no this is right the law says this is right we say this is right you're the wrong one but I have to point to my Bible says no the Bible says this is wrong but our laws are law so we passed say this is right no what if I have to stand up against that someday and I started thinking back you know a lot of people like to preach this is the end times incident times but I I believe every generation has something they have to stand up for most of us in this room either have parents or grandparents that were in prison for their faith you know what our Slavic background was persecuted they had a time where they had to stand up and stand up for what the law said was wrong the laws of the Bible was wrong and they had to stand up for that No and one of the things that I remember David praying a little while back was for boldness in in in school in in work he prayed to be bold and to stand up for what he was doing and I was thinking you know what did God do and God works in a weird way where he does the opposite just to save the whole world he sent a baby he said he sent somebody meek somebody small and I think that's to send me a message sent us a message that even though you think you're tiny even though you think your little little you can have a huge impact one one person died for you Jesus Christ and he changed everything you know and I think that's a trick of the devil that he wants to make you think that you're small you're meek that the world is a huge huge place but smaller than you think you know I can I've run into people multiple times traveling around the world in different countries the people who sat behind me in high school in a whole different country you know the world is smaller than you think you have more of an impact than you think so be bold be encouraged and stand firm in your faith amen David just said about very touchy subject but homosexuality and I think right now it's a big problem and they they want to make some superior some something specialty about their situation and some Christians they don't know what to do I remember one sister told me she she been working in the office and the new place and then she found out that her boss is lesbian and Shri Krishna she didn't know what to do what to do you know and she prayed and felt uncomfortable when go to Michelina office you know what to do in the Holy Spirit said to her treat her is other sinners not less not more like a fornicators so many around us drunk people or could use the drugs or whatever it is and we know that and she said peace came to my heart and I was stabled and work was good not more not less young people will face this just see was the Bible says you know treat them like other people because they're sinners they need Jesus they may be they special something actually we know according to the Word of God there's a fornicator work with you talk about something fornication you know that sin okay you not judge them but if it's time will come to testify about Jesus you do right you do so that's my car just want to say that I don't know when David was speaking about these people and become the world in a scene different kind of scene but witchcraft how about to worship idols or you know that's the many many other scenes but we live here and we have to be a light and then we need to be aligned church has to be a light and all that stuff but we have this kind of little heavy time I believe it's a Holy Spirit teachers what was that direction I truly believe that I truly believe that you know at the time when we wanna just but Lord want us imagine this Israel pollination go through the hard time imagine this at Israel lost their power to even vote to do that stuff was supposed to be the holy nation neither they got Romans on the streets occupy the country it was so terrible time and when the Jesus speak and preach later in his life about freedom they thought he's gonna establish the kingship right now he talked about the kingdom of God it was so ready to changes on the physical world at that time was so horrible you just might think you know what's people was wrong with you know but meets of that it was a baby boy Jesus the gift of God the kingdom of God starts ours verse right there and that heart horrible time so sometimes we think in the Christmas time we just want to be fun we have a joy we have a G but we just caught up with all this stuff and we just thinking what's wrong with all that it's supposed to be a fun but it's not as much as we supposed to be expecting you know it is a time God wants us to care in that light in us in this Christmas time he'll lift up his name there follow his command you kind of like enjoy in being sure but you know what you know there's a lot of you know I will have that one oh my goodness I start dream about what I'm gonna do with all the money all the mission trip is right there all the mission work is gonna be right there establish spirit it would be done church people friends even I found some form in who I work for I said he's a mean guy but he is nice just for sake of it I'm gonna buy him a new book go ahead in let him go fish in the Gulf of Mexico so I already with those billion dollars what can you do you can do a lot isn't it you can do a lot I said what would be changed man oh my goodness everything's gonna be changed I mean I'll be nice I mean those people who cut the grass and all this stuff I just one day say christmas is coming here's you take it and it was like whoo whoo I said yeah so I will share their worlds with everyone and I was a dreaming and dreaming and come to the stoplight and finally my dream was interrupted because I see my driveway Lord speak to me what about which you have the kingdom of God in Christ in you are often treated that is a treasure are we gonna look into the world which world can give us how much more you and I have in God in Christ sometimes we just treat a lot of more than Jesus Christ true treasure and it's it starts me thinking so in this today Christmas season is the perfect time to actually just recap your search it just come and humble yourself God he said Lord Jesus what do we world is chaos around us and we feel like we small where we're not we look at all of them for somebody they have it no what you have in Jesus Christ what I have in Jesus Christ was a church was a english service I tell you what I can truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit I truly do you guys feel the same way I don't know about you I feel so relaxed then you feel the same way I feel so so kind of a easy know no pressure like you say in English right you guys feel the same way I don't think it's amazing because all we want is to be filled with the holy spirit all you want is to experience him through prayer through worship you know I'm a while back I actually was thinking you know maybe we should just get together one night before we install these services and just like have a worship night I really like the way we do our prayers on Mondays those guys they don't go on Mondays please do I like the fact that you don't have any preaching we just pray and the fact that it's just prayer or if it's just worship some things about it and I was like I wish we would have a service where you just kind of work and worship and pray and you worship again and you pray again just gonna like be in the presence the Holy Spirit because the light that we have is so busy is so distracting early in a Monday morning service I mentioned about this this this closet prayer closet and I'd even though I did mention that my closet is me driving but I must admit it's not a perfect one because I said I'll have to look at the lights I have to look at the direction many times only when off the road I was like I wish I could just have that time where I just kind of like like the quiet part it's just kind of like you know it just kinda like it's so easy there's no rush there is no limit for time that's my dream for that kind of time with God and I can feel like we're having some of this tonight you know what I wanted to say it is far as encouragement for myself and for you guys as well I have to be real and admit something here there was a time and this this year not far far far ago I shall little down I felt down for many different reasons you know as a matter of fact because of that I stopped reading news I'm done with news I'm not really news no more I'm don't read news no more because I got all kind of news fake not fake all kind of news the thing is I noticed I notice I'm becoming so kind of town and kind of like depressed you kind of like look at live and you kind of look at my children I was like man the world have you live is so crazy what's gonna happen to them like are they gonna grow up to know you Lord those thoughts going through my mind and I felt like I'm getting very something heavy on my shoulders I'll be honest with you I've been a Christian for many years but I kind of I must admit I come to a point I'm like there's no hope and like you just you just get that feeling in your mind you know you have God you know that you have Christ you know that you have a hope you know you know this different you know it but it just right here you don't feel it sometimes you just cannot feel it sometimes sometimes you know there is God there is hope but you just don't feel that you you feel scared you feel those emotions they take over you sometimes and I must admit I have been through that so I call up my sister in Orlando I shared this with her you're very open so I was hoping you know you know she's gonna tell me you know what I kind of feel the same way and she's like no I don't feel the same and she started telling me what she feels just like listen and you know landed this is like 20 members in that church very tiny Church and she's like I'm praying I have so much faith I believe that God do such a miracles in Orlando the God was gonna heal people the God will save people I believe that the church to be arranging today will be filled with safe people I believe in a few God will do something and she's like in my spirit I'm feeling that and after the conversation is like Nick man seriously this is this is what you need to feel this is how you need to see God remember in the morning service when we pray we have to see God that there's something such a big thing just like David said this 1% they think they rule the world really no we are the believers of Christ we are the children of God it's really that the heaven English speaking churches they have way way better than we have would you agree way way better we have to practice many many many years to catch them up but what will bring people to Christ and bring to this church is that hope that we have is that faith that we have because when this world that looks at us is like listen I want what this person has I want what Natasha has what Oksana has what lad has I want these things and maybe Dinah shared something with you if you shared this in a nursing home she said I went to a store and this lady chasing me her husband thinks that she's a little crazy she's like listen I need to talk to this young man so she pulls him they basically actually had to like catch him in a different store he's like hey we just saw you in a different store but I want to tell you something here he's like okay so she comes up to him and she says listen there is something different about you are you believer of Christ he's like yes I am so the person saw him driving saw him just on the street and he says listen I feel it that you are different I know that you are different there is something different about you and this is what Bible says that how the people will know that you are my disciples that you have love among you you will have something that this world does not help this world does not have love think it she'd it on every corner people sit on drugs on pills because they have what they call an anxiety what is that anxiety you start shaking you starting feeling things you cannot pass the test you have to grab a pill you can you bill you got an anxiety you have to get your Prozac drinking now that's how this world lives they do not have what we have they do not have the peace that we have they didn't have the love that we have they do not have their hope that we are so my encouragement to myself number one and for all of you that we need to have this we need to have Christ so close to us we need to help that piece we need to have that love need to have their joy and people will notice and believe me this whole neighborhood would know that there is a service but bunch of people that have all this is the service with this hope is being preached this is what this is what what makes us special this what makes us unique and we have this through Jesus Christ this celebration this is what we need to celebrate that and this is something that God has put in my heart you know I was thinking you know it's maybe the church maybe I have to move somewhere maybe and you have to do something boy in church maybe I have to do more kind of preaching maybe I have to involve myself with different things maybe I was thinking of different ways how can I change what I feel how can I change this how can I get out of this and do one thing I thought it's things around me that that's that's default but I realize no it's me it's me it's me you know there's one man he comes to the doctor he says listen I touch here it hurts I judge here or hurts I thought you over here it hurts not just like listen it's not your shoulder it's not your stomach it's not your neck it is your thing is anything you touch is hurting and the same thing happens with you if you are not right in your life you anything you touch in your life you're gonna say you something's wrong with this something's wrong with that something wrong with this something is wrong with that but the problem is you and this is like what God can like speaking to my heart personally fix up yourself start feeling differently you have this whole open Christ and this is what we need this is what we need I tell you what you young folks you need to be dead light for all the folks even in our church in our homes and our families or you think your parents don't need encouragement right or you think that people around you don't need encouragement of course they do but you need to have that joy you have to have that hope in your heart and I believe and I strongly believe I tell you what it's very hard to believe you have to make yourself to believe sometimes because the devil he wants to try and steal their joy from you he knows he knows very well you take this away from him he's done so he will do everything in his power to take this away from us it is always been encouragement for all of you may God bless you praise God everybody I am really enjoying what the Holy Spirit is doing here today and you know it's really interesting to just hear everyone speak and you know half the people weren't even planning on speaking and they're speaking and I just love the freedom of how everything is going and you know it's so interesting too because even what I'm going to be speaking about has to do with everything that has been has been talked about already and I just wanted to touch on something Nick mentioned how he said that the Holy Spirit Xperia is very you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit deeply here and I remember when these services started I was put a sign to make the call to people to ask how you know what about these services what should we change how did you like them and when I was making these calls the one of the main things that people told me I would ask I'd be like should we improve our worship should we improve on the this or that and one thing that almost every single person told me I said the one thing that you need and shouldn't change is the presence of the Holy Spirit and making sure that that is the one and only thing that is always present and will never change meaning that when we make these services when we do when we gather here like we are today that the number one and sole purpose that we are here today for is to meet what the Holy Spirit and experience him in this place tonight so it was said that I'm gonna be saying a sermon but I would like to say it more about just a message because you know I'm in need of this information that I will be delivering to you tonight just as much as you know anyone here is and and maybe even more so I would like to begin with a little example many of you guys know golfing right thus the sport you hit a hit on a little small white golf ball on a tee try to make it into a hole I know far far side of a huge field anyways so there was a man and he his father was a professional golfer and this man one day decided never been golfing but he was going to gather his friends and he wants to be like his father he's going to go golf and try it himself so he goes to this you know he goes to the field gets all his friends to go there puts the tea in the ground sets the ball grabs his club and you know he sets up and swings it's a hits the ground and a bunch of dirt flies that all his friends and they're all like whoa whoa you know like all right you want to maybe try that again so he swings again just gets a bunch of air doesn't even hit the ball just and they all look at him like all right I don't get what's going on so you always about seven times doesn't hit the ball once and one of his friends says he's like all right it looks like you know it looks like whatever you're doing is a good exercise it looks like you know you're gonna lose some weight maybe or something but I don't understand what the purpose of the ball is so the fact the fact that I'm saying this is the what I'm the message I'm trying to deliver to today is what is the purpose of our lives as Christians you know sometimes sometimes we as Christians are like this guy we have our purpose set up on a tee for us God had already prepared it for us it's right there on that tee and we take this club and we're swinging at it we're cutting you know we're so many times but we never ever actually nailed that purpose and tried to deliver it to the end goal which is God's will for our life so you know we may be coming to church every Sunday we may be you know doing so many so many things but we're not actually touching on the purpose that God had intended for our life so you know do we actually like if we were each and everyone was to kind of think of ourselves this question do we ourselves are we active or are we at least seeking for the purpose that God has for us in our lives are we you know active in trying to do something to make this change do we shine light into the world as Christians Nick mentioned it you know with this purpose you know if we do even nail it are we through that purpose actually bringing light into the darkness into this world are we encouraging the people around us are we are we you know through the fruits of the spirit are we actually making a change in the world around us and both of these questions you know it's no to either one you know God wants to give you purpose he has a purpose for you but we need to seek it so man the first question I asked was did we try to find our purpose as Christian so seeking purpose I wanted to read a verse from 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9 it says but you were a chosen generation a royal priesthood a holy nation his special people that you may proclaim praises of him who called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light so first of all we were called out of that darkness into the marvelous light so once once we are these shows than people it shows in generation that means now we are carriers of this light in order to bring it through the darkness to those play play places that is part of our purpose now we can't say that each and every one of us has the same way worship or you know to evangelize to do this book but each and every one of us has something to put into that of bringing the light into those dark places and the bigger the big question is are we all you know doing something to find this purpose so we are chosen people we are special people and the reason why I say this is you know a lot of times we for example we go to school we go to work there's many things we do in our lives you know it'd be it'd be as if we go to if we were to go to church and just you know do it without a purpose it's the same thing as if you were to go to school you go you listen to your you know you're just in your classes you listen to the stuff they say you go home you know just come and listen but you never end up passing the classes you never end up getting your degree you never you know you never end up getting to a and goal which means you're swinging you're going to the you're going to school you're listening you're trying to do what you know but you're not actually you're not actually applying it you're not actually being active and what you're learning you're not taking it to the next step so in other words you're missing this golf ball each and every time same thing with work you know if you go to work and you're not actually you know you're not serving your purpose there if you're not doing what they hired you to do you're gonna be swinging up as well eventually you're just getting fired you're not you're not serving your purpose so we as Christians you know we all have to have something that we are doing that is that bringing this light to the darkness in this world so my my second point is actually sharing this light so does your does our purpose allow light to shine into the darkness does it make a change in the world around us for the glory of God you know a lot of times we tend to actually make like a secular and sacred divide so to explain it better is like imagine like this big room right there's a lot of light and there's a lot of darkness in it and a lot of times in our lives we tend to like put up a wall say like we separate the darkness and the light so okay this is church stuff this is this is world stuff this is you know I'm going to work so church stuff doesn't have anything to do with world and what this actually does you know is it pulls us away from being able to serve our Christian purpose in the world in our everyday lives whether it's work school and different things that we do it keeps this makes this makes it hard for us to remain in our purpose when we when we you know pull ourselves away from basically where we go to church Sunday all right this is church but then we go to school the next day no longer you know our purpose in churches for church but when we go to school there our purpose no longer has anything to do with this so what I'm trying to say is that our purpose should always consistently be bringing that light that's in you into those dark places in in an everyday life it should be a part of our lifestyle and the reason why I'm sharing this is because I feel like you know if we actually truly like all each and every one of us are seeking after our purpose with a pure heart like fully fully dedicated to finding what it is that God wants from us I believe that you know like they said 1% of the lesbian gay community you know how driven they are and how to make sure that all these laws fall in line all these thing has happened now imagine if whatever percentage of Christians were truly driven with a purpose you know to to share this this you know this like like I said people feel the presence of the Holy Spirit we were all driven to make sure that everyone about this power and this and this the presence of God and the power that's behind it if we were all truly applying ourselves you know to actually make it happen what kind of change we can make in this world today as Christians you know and before we go into prayer I just wanted to you know to point out the main point is that for us to kind of you know stop swinging that club you know without you know actually hitting that ball truly truly in our relationship with God in our in our fellowship with him and our prayer closet like nick has mentioned multiple times to to actually ask God you know what it is he wants from us what it where he wants to put us in order that we can actually make a difference so that we're not just swinging this club for no reason and then we're you know we're just we're not getting nowhere you know and so that so that we can actually ask Christians be confident and state remain bold that we are actually doing something if you you know if you hit that that ball and it actually goes somewhere and it's getting closer to that to the to the hole then you can boldly proclaim that you did the right thing so if we boldly aim for our purpose and it's yes closer to the goal that we can boldly proclaim as Christians the things we believe and the power that we have as Christians the light that we carry we can boldly bring it into the darkness we won't even have to put up that wall between darkness and the light we'll be able to tear that wall down and bring the light into the darkness because we are we understand that this is light we carry we we are firm and bold in our purpose in Christ and we there will be nothing that will stop us from bringing that light into that darkness do you understand my point so I am here to encourage all of us and I'm struggling with them myself you know trying to find this purpose in it and you may be like really close to it and you know and sometimes you get really close then you fall back because you feel like oh maybe that's not it because there's many distractions in the world there's Mary many things that go on that take you away from you know from finding this but I believe that this is like this is the key you know finding your purpose is a key to that boldness it's the key to to that ability to to bring that light into the darkness without you know because you're firm in it you know that this is the power you know that you have it and and you know that Jesus lives in you and you know that this is your purpose this is why you are able to do what you do and this is why if all of us find this these seats will be filled wewe won't have to worry if we're in a supermarket that ought to tell other people about somebody like Nick said people will know that the people gathered here have something that the rest of the world doesn't they will want to come here and get a taste of whatever it is and they will want to find their purpose as well so as we go into prayer um it doesn't have to be an altar call or anything I just want I just want everyone to truly like truly from like actually you know dig into their hearts and and ask God to to reveal to you know at least you know put that effort to ask God to reveal to you you know where it is that he wants you to be where it is that he wants you to apply yourself maybe even try you know like some people have may have had prophecies whatever revelations saying oh you you belong and worship you should be you know doing worship writing music whatever if somebody maybe speaking preaching you know but to actually ask God and begin to apply yourself begin to do something you know what I mean and I feel like when when people actually start moving in this you know and with God's guidance and the Holy Spirit and help of the Holy Spirit we will all be able to find our place we will all be able to find our purpose and to actually work together and bring people to this to this unity and the Holy Spirit and to actually be filled with with the power of God and move in it so we as we as I conclude I would stand to our feet in prayer and ask God this question what is my purpose Lord what is what am i what am i a Christian for you know why do I come to church why do I attend all these church services I retain all this information but why don't I apply it why don't I do something you know with what with what I'm learning you know so as as we pray just ask ask these questions and and truly like I don't know if some of you may have already done it but you know but to actually apply yourself like you would in school you want you want to achieve you know your degree so you apply yourself you try you try so hard to get to it otherwise there's no point of going to school same with work you go to work to earn money to get a paycheck to get a raise you apply yourself you keep doing it because you want to get that hand goal okay well what's the point of going to church if you're not going to apply yourself you're not gonna find a purpose you're not gonna try to reach your end goal don't then what's the point of coming to church so the same same way for school and work you know we come here for a purpose and why not find that purpose and actually apply my apply ourselves to reach that end goal see what I'm saying here so let us just pray and ask God you know to guide us in this process to help us find this purpose to help us make this difference bring that light into darkness into dark places of this world let us pray father God thank you for bringing us all here God thank you for these services that we have I know they're only once a month but I believe that there is power in them I believe that your spirit truly moves these services God and I love all the people that are here with us I love to fellowship with all these people God and and we enjoyed the presents and fellowships of commotion for brothers and sisters and the ability to praise and worship your Holy Name God we think that you have given us a purpose you have prepared this purpose for us God but we are here today God and we are seeking out for it we want to know what it is that you have for us God you want to live a life as a true Christian God me we don't want to just come to services we don't want to just be a part of the church God but we want to be active we want to actually make a difference God we want to be make a difference in this world God if the lesbian gay community can make a difference in this world god then why can't we we have the true power we have the truth the Holy Spirit the power of God in our hands God why cannot why why can't we display this power through Alive's God we pray that you that you reveal to us what it is what our place is so that we can use this this power that is given to us as Christians God we have we are special people chosen by you God and we pray we ask you to reveal to us what it is you have in store for us what it is you have purpose for us your will for us in this life God we do not want to live live this life without no reason God without no purpose we don't want to be coming to services and not not bringing fruit out of this guy if we're gonna come to services and we will reach her and go we will hit that golf ball God and we will finish if we will we will fulfill your will for our lives here in this life god we pray we pray that you give us the boldness we pray that you give us to give us the ability to be firm in our faith God and give us a purpose that we know that we can share with people without any doubt God that you are the way the truth and the life God we pray we pray that you give us this this assurance and this boldness God and I pray for every person in here they're opening your hearts to you God their hearts to you I pray that you allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them to speak to them in those areas that they may have questions that they may not know what it is they are to do next God but to give them this assurance that they are valued by you and then you treasure them each and every one of them and they all have a purpose they all have a place in your kingdom and bringing that light to the darkest and setting those captives free bringing those souls to you God and I pray that meet we are we are able to display this power to all of our communities all the people around us God and I pray that you use
