butchered and everything is ready come to the wedding banquet but they paid no attention and went off one to his field another two to his business the rest seized his servants and mistreated them and killed them the king was angered he sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city then he said to his servants the wedding banquet is ready but those i invited did not deserve to come go to the streets corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find so that the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find both good and bad and the wedding hall was filled with guests but when the king came in to see the guests he noticed a man there who was not wearing a wedding clothes friend he asked how did you get in here without wedding clothes the man the man was speechless then the king told the attendants tie him hand and foot and throw him outside into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for many are invited but very very fun and glorious time and the bible said like in the old testament there was always a great celebration and also it was not just like we celebrate a few hours it's ukraine they celebrated uh weddings especially unbelievable like three days we're not going to say how they celebrate it's another question the especially the rich people when they invited uh guests to their weddings it was accustomed them to to give their or their own clothes that belong to that house actually was a requirement to put on the garment of the owner of the father of the bride and that's how they how they know the more the people they invited the more closest they gave away it's said about the stat status of that particular person so if somebody it was like very uh common things if somebody comes not wearing wedding garment that means that they were not even invited and if we see like in old old things when the king had their own armies it's a really kimono so you arm you they also the army were every noble man had his own uh like a sign yeah because his noble scheme take him status like in and a lot of kings uh kings have lions and if you don't wear the the the clothes of that particular king then you don't belong to your to his army it's if you want to be a part of the army you have to wear the the clothes the colors of the king army you know when uh king nunking the general uh came only one change of clothes they don't didn't have another alig maybe who who worked maybe they had two big and that's why the the bible said that if somebody gave you clothes uh like as a collateral to to for your money be make sure you give him back clothes until the sunset because that's his covering that bible says because that's his clothes that's the only thing he has to cover himself we should say obsession but what else bible says about clothes let's open up isaiah chapter 61 verse i delight greatly in the lord my soul rejoices in my in my god for he has closed me with the garments of salvation and arrayed me with a robe of righteousness as a bridegroom adores his head like a priest and as bride adorns herself with her jewels so he adorned me with the garments of salvation of odessa and the god says that the the also bible says that our right our clothes is our righteousness and and what god says about our uh our righteousness it's as a filthy clothes and he invites us to righteousness but christ's righteousness is but does it mean does does that mean that i i'm good already i don't need anything else because a lot of people say okay you repented you you you received spiritual as to spiritual they actually bible says they had a lot of spiritual gifts without but they are not righteous inside they don't have that righteousness inside of themselves they still did not put out their own clothes and did not put on the god's clothes if we read first corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 and 10. know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of god do not be deceived neither sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves no greedy no drunkards no slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of god and also if you read galatians chapter 5 verses 19 to 21. sinful nature are obvious sexual immorality impurity debauchery 20 21 20. idolatry witchcraft hatred discord jealousy fits of rage selfish ambitions dissensions factions 21 21 and envy drunkenness orgies and the like i warn you as i did before that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of god so people were positionally righteous because they repented they received christ in their hearts but they live by flesh and what does the bible says if you live like this you will not inherit the kingdom of god how do how do i live by spirit how do i change it because this is my nature this is my character i live like this since i was a little child and it i cannot change by myself and a lot of people some people say oh this is my character that's how i am just receiving me as i am today but what the bible says you know a lot of churches try to to change people from outside in bahrain says military the insides are not ready for it in vitro okay you have to do this you have to do that you have to change this and sometimes sometimes they do change okay if you tell me to do okay i'll do this more humble people do that i mean what did we learn just now i was talking about the how the wound heals because sometimes from outside can be healed the skin is closed there is nothing you cannot see that there is we get changed then the moment and the bible says ask that you will receive. seek and you will find but our outward appearance it's not salvation ezekiel in chapter 36 verses 26 and 27 says what is verse in the word of god it's not an opinion it is a fact that is based on the word of god another one that if somebody were to ask me so why jesus is god even though he was a foolish man or not because in the word of god we see that jesus was given divine names his eternal word vineyard slova his everlasting father vineyard another factor that what points to his divinity for his divine uh qualities is his actions characteristic when he does something that humans cannot do that testifies that only god can do it the bible says he raised people from the dead it's not just his name but it's also his action that testifies that he is god another one is divine worship in should say we know when people wanted to bow before him and recognize him as god he accepted it another point that what testifies that he has divine qualities is that he himself made claims that he is the son of god syndra and we know that many times nothing but the claims of him is claiming that he is the son of god and it got him into most trouble because of that problem this is one of the reasons why they crucified jesus christ i am the son of god that's what we started and we went over last wednesday and i'd like for us to go over the human qualities of god of jesus christ number one that he was born as a human being because he was born from a woman the bible also tells us he was a son of david and the bible says in john that he was a word that became flesh is the second human nature of jesus is that he had a human origin lutzky if we read the new testament it is there for a reason there is a lineage that says this was born from this this one was one from that this one board for that for one simple reason with so that shows that the origin of jesus christ is is human origin you know bible never says that or jesus at least doesn't acknowledge that that joseph was his father but he did acknowledge that god is his father and mary is his mother he acknowledged that mary is his mother and people of that time when jesus was living they had no question they had no doubt that jesus is the son of man so christos the third point that here that points to a human nature of jesus is his human name we already mentioned one of them that he is the son of david in matthew 1 1 it also says that he is son of abraham he in is jesus is called the son of man 80 plus times in the new testament i apologize it's in in the bible 80 plus he also talks about his nationality remember when samaritan woman she said you are a jew and i'm a samaritan woman we shouldn't be talking to each other so he points and he says you're a jew and i'm a samaritan you know the fourth point that highlights the human nature of jesus that he had absolute human nature still who and he had spirit in my in john 13 21 let's open up it's in john 3 chapter 13 verse 21 that says jesus was troubled in spirit and testify very truly i tell you one of you is going to betray me you say he was troubled in spirit the second one they testify say but the soul of jesus is in john chapter 12 verse 27 12 27 john advantage and it says now my soul is troubled and what shall i say father save me from this hour no i was for this very reason i came to this hour about his body we can read in luke chapter 24 verse 39 that says look at my hands that he talks to these disciples and thomas and feed it is myself touch me and see a ghost does not have a flesh and bones as you see i have peace of christ we know what happened when jesus appeared to them they thought it was not a real jesus christ they thought it was a ghost appearing in front of them so we see that he was absolute humanoid he had absolute human nature he had number five from the word of god in the new testament we see that he would develop and grew as a human being i'm going to read a few passages we're not going to follow them on the screen it says in luke chapter 2 verse 40 that says and the child grew and became strong he was filled with wisdom and grace of god was on him so he grew he became stronger he developed just like any other human being and bible says you also develop in wisdom and age and in english i like how it says it's stature which means stature if you definition of stature it's height that he was actually growing getting bigger vinegar vegetables and in luke chapter 2 verse 22 it says and jesus grew in wisdom and stature meaning height he was growing and it's in favor with god and man and in hebrew 218 it says because he himself suffered when he was tempted he is able to help who are being tempted and what's very interesting and yes last time we actually had a question about this he was limited in his understanding and in matthew chapter 24 verse 36 it was mentioned last time but about that day or hour no one knows not even the angels in heaven or the son what points to his human nature is his sinless weakness of human nature [Music] i like how it's in english as a sinless weakness of human nature one of them that we all can relate bible says he was tired and it's actually written let's open up in john chapter 4 verse 6. it says jacob's well was there and jesus tired as he was from the journey he sat down by the well. and that is the story of the samaritan woman and in verse 7 look what it says there and he talks to the woman he says will you give me a drink so that means he was thirsty jesus was thirsty yes and look what it says in verse 8 also very interesting we can also understand that he was hungry because it says his disciples had gone into the town to buy food and we read this from the word of god in each time what's a slow booster another one that really testifies about this again the same nature that we as humans have bible says he was crying in [Music] now let's open up in john chapter 11 verse 33 it says when jesus saw her weeping and the jews who had come along with her also weeping he was deeply moved in spirit and trouble jesus was crying jesus it also says he was troubled do you cry let's open up in matthew chapter eight verse 24. we know this story very well that says when disciples and jesus were on the boat what is he saying here what did jesus do christos and in luke chapter 24 verse 43 he talks dead he also needed support and it says and the angel from heaven appeared by him and strengthened him it's going to be luke i'm sorry 22 43 chapter 22 luke 43. we know when jesus was praying in the garden he needed encouragement he needed and these points that i'm going to highlight it's very interesting let's us think about it together maybe we'll even murder in light of all the the nature the the human nature of jesus christ jesus had a but was without sin we know that um in the word of god and we know that we that are born of adam we are tempted we fall into but jesus christ who was also tempted but he was never committed any sin you know the interesting thing when i was researching this is that adam uh and jesus when they were tempted you know when adam was born he was without sin is that correct when jesus was his bible says he was without sin you know the difference between the two one was created another one wasn't and so the temptation that both of them went through i would call it external temptation but for you and me because we are born of adam we go through what we call internal and external temptation that's why apostle paul says i do things that i don't want to do publication so he's not just tempted by devil because he's offering certain things but we're also being tempted by a sinful nature with our flesh this is why it's very important to remember because when it's in the word of god it says that jesus was tempted to we immediately start to kind of like apply it okay so how do i go through the temptation that means jesus was going through that exactly the same way being attempted externally so that's why our temptation and temptation that jesus went through they are not the same problem you know this topic of temptation and and it's it's much deeper and much longer we're not going to talk about this today [Music] but i would like to summarize that that he was born of a human being he had a human origin he has human names he has absolute human nature body soul and spirit absolutely he grew and developed as human and he has sinless weaknesses of human nature about [Music] also he experienced that and he experienced resurrection these are the some of the points about the human nature of jesus christ let's remember that he was fully human and he was a perfect human being and he
