Psalm 23 says my shepherd yemi pastor and I shall not want he makes me lie down in Green Pastures he leads me beside the Still Waters he restores my soul he leads me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me for your rod and your staff comfort me you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies you anoint my head with oil my cup runs over surely goodness and mercy shall follow me [Music] [Music] foreign it is your world that is a word that is guiding me in this dark world and I will see because you go before me let's bow our heads and praise our worships I will lack nothing in my life Hallelujah Heavenly Lord we thank you Father we thank you for your word Lord we thank you Lord for your church we thank you Lord for God's house that we are present here today just like this Psalm says that I will dwell in your house at all times Hallelujah Lord this is the comforting place this is the place for us this is the place for all of us Lord when we start this New Year we will start this New Year with you Lord that's number one because you are guiding us Lord you are giving us your word that is light to our feet when we stab when we make the next move when we mix the next step we know Lord because we have this confidence that is in you Lord you are my shepherd you are The Shepherd of my family You're The Shepherd of my children You're The Shepherd of my brothers and sisters you are a Shepherd Lord hallelujah you are comforting us with your word you are comforting us with your Holy Spirit Lord be our Lord not deserted we have not left out because we have you we have your holy spirit that is with us that lives in US Lord we thank you Lord there is a comfort there is a joy Lord help us truly celebrate Lord this this tremendous blessing that we have through Jesus Christ this tremendous blessing that we have Lord with you Lord this world has no hope this world is scared this world doesn't know what to do next Lord but we are your children Lord we are God's people Lord help us Lord to be your children because you say in your word that my sheep the my sheep they hear my voice Lord help us Lord to push everything away in our life that is not allowing to hear your voice because you want to guide us you want to lead us Lord but sometimes we're not able to hear give us this ability to hear your voice and walk with you this 2023 whatever that brings Lord that is under your control that is under your hand we are under your cover we are under your blessing we thank you Lord Heavenly Father amen turn to your brother and sisters say the Lord is your Shepherd the Lord is my shepherd me pastor and I will like nothing you will like nothing he is a Year and it is isn't it amazing to be in the Lord's house today made it through one year God has allowed us to make it here to the next year 2023 it was a blessing over here and uh as we step into this new year we are expecting God to do great things in our church and in our families and my desire is that we would all come in agreement to pray first of all to thank God for the previous year for everything that he has done to be grateful before him and the second uh is to request and ask God that he would bless us in this next year and this that we would fulfill his will the will of his kingdom in our church so that salvation healing and deliverance would be taking place here in our church so that we would truly see the work of God his power the power of His Spirit working Among Us so that the Holy Spirit would truly be alive here let us play Church father God we thank you Jesus for this last year of 2022 God we thank you that you have allowed us to live through it Lord that you have given us a whole new year Lord we we give thanks to you we exalt you Lord that you were the one Lord to have given breath in our lungs father God that you have given provision you have guided us Lord you have showed us the way and we are here at the end of the the year of 2022 father God we raise our hands and we we lift up our voices Jesus we thank you that you have allowed us to get to this point you have allowed us to get to this place Jesus and it is all glory to you it is because of you we are here today and we give you praise for that Lord we exalt your name Jesus we thank you Lord that you have done this for us that not only have you died for us Lord but you continue to walk with your life in us that we are are able to commune with you daily Jesus and that as we go into this next year father God lord we ask that you would guide us that you would bless us and you would counsel and advise us you would show us the way Lord what your will is for our church what your will is for us individually God that you would speak to us that you would reveal to us that we would that we would hear prophecies Lord that of what you are doing and the great things that you will do and we pray Lord that we dedicate this next year as a church to you before you Lord God and that you would do as you will Lord so that we would we would look back at this last year and we would say Lord this was truly a year that we have dedicated to you Lord I pray that the Holy Spirit Lord would work in our church Lord that we would hear prophecies that we would see salvation that we would see healing that we would see Deliverance Lord God that people's lives would truly get touched Lord and that we would be able to testify of the power of the Lord amongst us in our church in our families Lord in our lives individually I pray Lord that we begin to grow more and more in you Lord that we be stronger and stronger as a church Lord that we would come to peace and unity for you Jesus Christ so that we could stand Lord at the end of the year of 2023 just as we are today after 2022 Lord and we can stand and say thank you Lord Jesus that you have kept us together that you have held us as one Lord and that we have been able to Proclaim your kingdom for another year Lord I pray that your spirit your life be among us for the next year Lord and we thank you that you have given us Lord a church a family of people Lord that we are able to Fellowship that we are able to grow together that we are able to experience your presence with one another Lord I pray that we also step out Lord and we proclaim the gospel of your kingdom that we proclaim the good news to the Lost Lord so that we would be a beacon of light Lord to the people that are lost Lord the people that are in darkness the people that do not see Lord though we see Lord that we would be able to show them the way that we would be able to speak the truth into their lives so that they would be able to see that you are the one the almighty God the Prince of Peace wonderful counselor Lord Lord you are alpha and omega beginning and the end Lord of Lord King of Kings God of Glory in Jesus name we pray amen [Music] praise God dear church and happy New Year it is so good to spend the first day of this New Year here in this in this place with all of you yeah you know I believe that last year was very very difficult for some people yes for some people it was a little bit easier but but some people struggled last year but I believe this next year this will be the best year of Our Lives we will go from glory to glory amen if you believe it say amen amen that's just so wonderful amen I just cannot wait to see what God has yeah and today I wanted to share a word with all of you yeah it's a this word has just been on my heart this whole past year yeah God's just been speaking to me over and over and over about not being ashamed of Jesus about not being ashamed of the Gospel yeah and I wanted to read in the Book of Luke Chapter 9. follow me for whoever wants to save their life will lose it but whoever loses their life for me will save it what good is it for someone to gain the whole world and yet lose their very self foreign whoever is ashamed of me and my words the son of man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the father and of the Holy Angels truly I tell you some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God yes but I want to focus on verse 26. whoever is ashamed of me and my words the son of man will be ashamed of them when he comes in all his glory is what is being ashamed of someone you know if you look it up ashamed means being embarrassed or feel feeling you're guilty a state that does not actually choose to receive [Music] um and many of us would be like no no no no no I'm not ashamed of Jesus you can't put me in this verse don't compare me to this person and I thought like that too but when you think of it as embarrassed when you think are you embarrassed of Jesus did you say you know if somebody asks you are you ashamed of Jesus he would say no but how do you show it with your actions when you walk around do people see this in their everyday life foreign everybody left him and you know he didn't leave us he was not ashamed of us on that night you know when he looked at you and he looked at me Jesus was not ashamed of us on us when he came on this Earth he knew what was going to happen when he was being betrayed he knew what was going to happen but still he was not ashamed you know when he was being being beaten and whipped on the back he was he was thinking of me and he was willing to take all of my punches because he was not ashamed and many of us live our lives like submarine Christians and does anybody know know what a submarine is a submarine is just this ship that goes underwater for a long time and a submarine Christian is is certain types of Christian in the world today these Christians are just like a submarine they go under the water and they begin to swim and the whole week they're swimming but then Saturday Night comes and all of a sudden they start to go up and then they come to the surface on Sunday morning and now everybody sees the therapists and everybody sees them at church and everybody hears them praying at church and this prayer is so powerful people think that Apostle Paul rose from the dead at this point but then Sunday night comes and all of a sudden they dive back down they go down under the water and then on Monday at work nobody sees that there is [Music] [Music] and then maybe on Wednesday they come up really fast because and then they swim swim until Saturday night again and then they come back up to the series and all of a sudden they're a Christian again I don't think this is this came on this Earth to die from yeah I didn't think I don't think Jesus wanted us to be like super spies Christians on this yeah no he wanted people to know that we are Christians he didn't want us to live under the water and he wasn't embarrassed of us on this Earth so why would we be embarrassed of him you know Jesus is the son of God he is the only one worthy of Praise he has all power and authority of Heaven says but he loved us so much silna that he was beaten and bruised and even died on a CrossFit um you know when he was dying on that cross he was hanging there naked bleeding out of everywhere in his body he was still not ashamed of him he was thinking of us and he was saying son daughter I love you he was willing to do whatever it takes to save us and sometimes people at our work don't even know who who Jesus is to us because we're a little bit afraid we don't know what people will think I mean his names if they know we're a Christian you know my pride is going to get hurt if somebody knows I'm a Christian is they're going to know I'm Christian and then they won't accept me anymore oh yeah it's so terrible people are gonna know I'm a Christian and they're gonna look at me differently no no people don't reject you they reject Jesus you just you just have to be ashamed to show that light of Jesus you know we need to be bold in this world in Proverbs it says the wicked flee though no one pursues but the righteous are bold as lions the righteous are bold as lions We Are All Made righteous through Jesus Christ we are made righteous through Jesus so we can be bold as lions you know when a lion roars he is not afraid of anyone they call him the king of the jungle because he has a mighty Roar and he is so bold he's not afraid and we are those same Lions on this Earth we can walk around on this Earth knowing we are righteousness we can be bold as lions and so Jesus to this world because that's who we were created we were created to be bold as lions and I want to tell One More Story he showed my story I want to tell a story about a certain old man and this old man was a farmer and he lived where the worlds would run around all the time and he would collect their eggs [Music] and he loved his chicken Farmers but one day he was climbing the mountain and very high in the mountain he sees a nest and this Nest is the nest of an eagle and he sees three eggs sitting in there so he decides to climb up to this nest amazing idea he looks to the left and to the right [Music] he doesn't see them [Music] and so he takes one of the eggs and he climbs back down and goes yeah and when he comes home he comes to his chicken chicken yard and he finds one big mama chicken that is and she's sleeping foreign I even heard that there was one wants an eagle that lifted up a goat and was able to take a goat off of a mountain yeah that's how Mighty the eagle is started to grow up with chicken so the day came when all the eggs began to hatch and all of a sudden all the chicken eggs began to hatches and all the eggs of the things were hatching first um and I don't know if you know but when a baby chicken is born it looks very very beautiful is these chicks all begin to hatch and they start walking around start looking for food yes and they're all waiting for their big big brother to hatch yeah and all of a sudden this big egg starts to crack in it and this Eagle comes out it's never egos are very different from chickens when they hatches this ego was very very ugly he wasn't like the chickens he couldn't walk he couldn't find his own food this ego was just sitting there with his mouth open waiting for his mother to feed him is just waiting for food because this Eagle couldn't do anything the chickens were looking at him and said he said why is our brother so weird something's wrong with that guy but it's okay they grew up with him and all the time they were growing up the chickens thought they were better than the eagles they were looking at that eagle and thinking he's never going to survive always looked at himself and thought something was wrong with him why does he have wings that are so much why is his claws so much bigger than that he was thinking there's something wrong with him and all the other chickens would laugh at him but then one day one day they hear a noise in the sky um all the chickens were in the yard and the eagle was there too it says she's flying high foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and then he looks back down at those chickens and he realized is that's not who he is and so he looks back to the chickens and he says goodbye you stupid chickens [Music] I was made to use my mighty mighty eyes foreign foreign and my friends this story is about us we are like this [Music] the devil tries to lie to us he tries to tell us that we're like this chicken that we cannot fly that we are weak that we might just walk around the ground smacking our head into the ground stuck in this chicken coop but no my friends God created us as a mighty powerful creature boxes and he won wants us to use what he has given us but we have a choice are we going to spread our wings and begin to fly clearly are we gonna be as scared and ashamed and just sit on this ground with these chickens in the Bible in Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be fainted you are like an eagle you can fly high quality you can be bold as a lion you do not have to be ashamed or embarrassed anymore because you have Victory in Jesus he was not ashamed of you when he was dying on the ground and he was not ashamed of you when he was Raising from the Dead background and that's what Jesus did for you he gave you victory over death and darkness he gave you um so why are we still afraid of all of this why are we still ashamed yeah and right now and I want to ask you yeah if you think back to the last this is if you think back have you been ashamed of Jesus have you been afraid of telling others what he has done for you have you been like the submarine Christian hiding Christianity maybe you were like this chicken wandering around aimlessly not where you're supposed to be like you're but you always need foreign [Music] [Music] let's start off the new year right now let's come back to Jesus come back to the one that has given everything for you and so right now every eye closed every head bound yeah I want you to be bold as a lion right yeah I want you to take a few steps of faith and when I say I want you to come down to the front can I tell you I want you to come here to Jesus to renew your relationships the only thing that is shameful is if you know if you know you need this and you stay in yourself it is right now if you need to give your life back to Jesus [Music] is the front yes this is supposed to fly come to the front Jesus is waiting here waiting forever he's waiting with open arms he's waiting with love and peace there is no shame there is no guilt there is no condemnation in Christ there is only Victory there is forgiveness and that is what Jesus [Music] you can still come now right now you have time yes but one day the time will come when it will be too late so my friends come now and youth service and tomorrow on Monday There's going to be no prayer it will be on the following Monday on January 9th on Wednesday we have service at 7 30 p.m and please show the announcement for Saturday at 5 p.m we will have a yeah and brother Peter can come and give some additional information about this Christmas dinner and this is made specifically to reach all those people that came from Ukraine Belarus Russia here to America to invite them all welcome party it's like a welcome party so that they would feel that they are not here alone this is that this is God's Church God's family he called us to help these people say sorry in advance for those who will participate I hope we all know at the end of service let's pray about this event so that God praise God and so there's going to be much spiritual food and it's going to be a dinner physical food yeah and it's going to be Fellowship Jesus mighty name and at 11 A.M we're having the beginning of our service next Sunday but January 14th that is in two weeks from 10 to 12 we will have a men's prayer breakfast and we invite all brothers and then at 12 o'clock we will have a Brother's meeting about the budget for the next year and brothers we ask you to please come in and I will be on Saturday and then on Sunday already we'll have a shorter service and right after we will have a members meeting uh based on the new budget and other questions with the church and we always vote about the budget so if you're not able to make it please let brother Pastor Nikolai know amen amen please do not forget uh right now we'll have a love offering the first offering of this new year we'll have two offerings today first for the needs of the church and the second one we already talked about it will explain it for Poland for um serving in Ukraine um and I want to read one verse from Malachi chapter 10 3 10 chapter 3 verse 10. ah prinitiative bring the whole tide into the storehouse that there may be food in my house test me in this says the Lord Almighty and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it is I don't want to talk about last year or the year before that because a new year is starting this is and here God talks to his uh his people and he's telling us today as well [Music] and it says bring the whole tithe not half the tithe or a fourth of the tide but the whole tithe a tithe is a tenth of what God gives us so that even in this you can test me it is it is the most simple the most simple test of our faith the Lord says test me in this Lord says I will open the heavens for you summer and we talk so much about salvation so much about healing about serving but the the first thing we have to we have to be obedient in is in our finances first starting from the pastor and then to every member of the church do we want blessing in this year and this is from us what will we sow Brothers I call you to show your faith in this and do it with hope so we will take this hope to all aspects of our life and so that you would test the Lord not your pastor not Brothers but he would test the Lord it is the most simple it is the most easy business for every single one of us you agree with this believe God and we will be waiting um for God's blessing malitis pray every time I put my finances in I say Lord you are my shepherd and I shall not want yeah I'm not asking God I don't need the Millions but I know that he takes care of my needs and my family amen amen do you want a favor in this year Financial blessings would multiply God's peace and his grace would multiply yes I believe that last year we felt and enjoyed the peace and especially in these last days we have been in need of God's peace and grace even more yeah and I would like to ask you how is it in this new year and when I walked into church today brother Norris greeted me in the and he said you look exactly how you looked in the last year and I thanked him um you know it's actually to notice that as the years go on and it changes but to be honest nothing really changes as it was goes on foreign situations these viruses that enter into our lives and today I believe it's not too late it's to do this to think of the last year how we lived and What could be changed and in this in this new year to renew our promises in which we may have said in the past it's something that we have thought about to change in this new year in order to do this according to the word of God and the word of God tells us reminds us that truly his grace and mercy will multiply and may the Lord stand to our feet and pray for our children foreign [Music] foreign foreign foreign [Music] foreign welcome down um slavable praise God I agree all that have stepped into this new year and I truly greet you with God's blessings and as we enter into this new year I would like to ask us a question how much have we truly grown in spirit another year has passed by of Our Lives the weather is a secret or not to you we have grown a year older of course prettier more beautiful we have gotten one year closer to our Lord and savior of Jesus Christ but the question stands how much have we grown spiritually you know this uh topic has interested me for a long time now because our spiritual growth is directly in uh attributed to our Salvation is [Music] second Peter chapter three in verse 17 and 18. I mean the word of the Lord calls us that when we have achieved salvation received salvation uh we can work on it is in order to grow spiritually you have to be born spiritually if you are not born from Spirit and um who are in spirit from the water and from from the water and the spirit you will not you cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven you cannot enter it is you know this is a serious topic yeah I would not like to live another year knowing that there could be a chance that I am not actually saved and therefore maybe I read my Bible in prayers but the question is a way you can test yourself why because spiritual growth will always be evident in a spiritual life I would like to return to the question of Salvation I noticed that uh Salvation has three steps the first step is through repentance and belief or faith in Jesus Christ we receive the Forgiveness of our sins therefore salvation this is not by our achievements but this is only by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ it is received by faith in Jesus Christ and receiving his grace being born again I become a child of God and I am now a uh inheritor of the Kingdom praise be to God Allah in other words a save must remain safe and this this step of Salvation is uh occurs throughout the rest of our world and this is a Salvation from sin from the authority of sin and the authority of death this is a work of the holy spirit in our soul of the spirit it's if you're it's the spirit that was dead back in Eden foreign my character doesn't get born my character does not change in in the process of being born therefore when I mean when I am born in the spirit the process that takes place is the spirit battles against the Flesh in order to make me uh like Christ and there therefore why is this such an important question to grow spiritually Galatians Chapter 4 verses in other words if a child is born it's hard to see that there is a new child is born it's amazing because it's a new child yeah as a brother before me has uh said it looks for food looks for the mother Allah imagine a child that is is five months old and still doesn't eat doesn't talk doesn't do anything and then the question stands is the child alive and the reason for that question is is because if it was truly born but there is no science of of life then is it alive these are these are like uh spiritual s it's something that is not right spiritually yeah and there's a there's a record that shows that the smallest person in the world it's 54 centimeters and therefore when you don't see that person growing then you understand that there's some something bothering that growth and therefore we must also grow spirits and not to remain like a spiritual projects you know even if a person has uh went through salvation and being born again but it's not growing spiritually and it causes the person to ask themselves the question am I safe no no desire for victory over sin no desire for growth no desire to even eat spiritual food the apostles and Apostle Paul speaks about these these people these that are are not growing properly in Ephesians Ephesians 4G verse 11 and Lord foreign Ministries and being a minister it's in order for people to to be ready to minister yeah if people are not serving or getting ready for service if ministers are doing their work and the Holy Spirit is working then there must be spiritual growth then if there is no spiritual growth then the question mark stands is there really is there really also Paul says that we must go towards the image of Christ so that Christ would be evident to be seen in US people would look at us and not and see us but to see fully the image of Christ this is the process this is a process because you're infants and the brother read that the mother chicken is she puts the food in their mouth and the chick gives that very uh easy food into the chick's mouth and that's also how we raise our children and praise God that our children have grown money and so as the children were growing we would draw a line for their height and measure it yeah I'll share an interesting Secrets when I look at these lines and it's my children are actually lower than my grandchildren on those lines foreign we were real really low there God desires for us to grow spiritually in the grace of God getting to know our Lord in goodness and works of goodness to because this is God's will you know in the spiritual life there is this principle that if you are moving up up the hill or mountain and if you stop you begin to backslide in First Corinthians chapter 10 it's a lot to read there but you can read for yourself remember the example of Israel how it was a miracle how they got out of egyptus and through many different Miracles God help them the one of which being this the the slaying of the Lamb foreign put it on your door jamb a yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and oftentimes we don't remember yeah and we oftentimes miss this but it says let everyone remain in their home it says that the angel of death will go by and only the ones that are behind the door of where this blood is they will be protected oftentimes people receive salvation in that anointing but they often times in their life step out of that anointing and and the and the the blood of Jesus Christ they have walked away from Jesus Christ but the word of God says the word of God says that they went through the through the water was parted uh Manna From Heaven the air experienced many things but many of them did not fully we're not in the hands of the Lord and a lot of them died in the desert and this is an example for us brothers and sisters but at the same time it is speaking to me and all of us here today we would grow spiritually in his grace Jesus Christ returns we will be found in him without blamer blessings in second Peter you started you receive salvation Specialists his divine power has given us everything we need Godly life through our knowledge of him who is called us by his own glory and goodness and you can read down to verse 11 it is next next one fifth yes for this very reason make every effort to add to your faith goodness and to goodness knowledge and therefore saving Faith actually is supported by um by fruits in other words a living saving faith is alive at the end of this chapter it says the following words in this way if you walk in this life uh and it will be multiplied in you because it's a um says therefore my brothers and sisters make every effort to confirm your calling and election for if you do these things you will never stumble what must we do to uh confirm our Salvation Now work on your salvation is from knowledge to self-control and self-control and self-control to perseverance and to perseverance godliness and to Godliness Mutual affection and mutual affection and I would like to bring us to a conclusion is our Salvation we have received as a gift from God but our Salvation must be maintained so that we will be called worthy to step into Glory with Christ in the process of Salvation we have become become children of God and the bride of Christ you know between the engagement and the wedding there's a period of time right now we are a church in the process of Engagement soon our groom will come and the church will come to meet him and the work of Christ on this Earth in the church follow me in spirit act in spirit a step away from flesh Lady this is what the Lord is inviting us to today just being confident of this that he who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus God is a strong God he's the one that has given his son to the cross and it is him how he can be not giving us everything else how how then can he not give us all all other things and I would like us to just simply praise our Lord and to walk into this new year just to say Lord thank you for you you have saved us we are your children let us grow spiritually unless the brother said the new year we don't know what could come to us physically but but to actually grow spiritually it's the glory of Jesus Christ into the image of Christ into a prayer prayer of
