every speaker lord so that your holy spirit would work on this stage whoever it may be that is up here lord that everyone in the crowd receive your word receive your revelation lord i pray that your holy spirit just moves in this place the fire of your holy spirit lord the revelation of your holy spirit god let your word just be just be proclaimed off of this pulpit lord i pray that every person here receive something for themselves lord and let them be renewed let them be refreshed and let them be changed in jesus name and we invite your holy spirit here to lead us in every single thing that able to make it here father god and if not online we are able to see we have the technology you gave us father god to be able to watch you and worship you wherever we are father god because you live in us father god you made a home inside of our hearts father god and through you we are able to shine that light to the world father god we thank you for the opportunity to be here father god and we pray blessings over everybody father god we play blessings over our nation over the leaders in our nation father god we pray that you give him the spirit father god that they're just able to make the right decision and today we just accept your blessings onto our church father god pray that you pour the holy spirit out over us throughout this whole service father god yes lord we thank you jesus today that we just love you jesus a few weeks ago or a week ago we just remembered how you came on the cross father god you father god were the lamb that was slain for us father god even though we are imperfect father god you created a place for us in heaven next to your father you went back up and said i will create a place for you and today we accept that message in our hearts father god we thank you that we're just able to be yours that you loved us so much god that you gave your one and only son for our sins yes lord and today we just sit in your presence and we marvel at the great works that you did in our lives father god even though we didn't deserve it father god you still bless us father god you still heal us father god you renew us father god every single day of our lives and we just sit in your presence father god we just want to stay here all day jesus we want you to be with us all day into the end of time and we pray that we could just be that life for other people so they they can know what you did for them they can know the gravity of what your sacrifice meant for their life father god we thank you so much jesus yes lord thank you jesus hallelujah thank you brothers and sisters for worshiping with us amen how is um so as i'm writing sermons i find that the hardest part in writing a sermon is the introduction so today i want to start out with sharing a story uh you know there was this one couple a long time ago they were very poor and this woman she had very long hair and her husband had an heirloom something that's given down from generation to generation heirloom it was this pocket watch naruko this pocket watch was old and broken they wanted to do something special for one another [Music] so that she could get some money so that she could fix his pocket and so when she came home she sat there and she was waiting for her husband on the other thought i'm going to go ahead and finish the story at the end of my sermon today i'm going to be talking about the difference between being rich and being wealthy you know i looked it up in the dictionary what's the difference between rich and wealthy rich and wealthy and in the dictionary it actually has the exact same definition and it's having a great deal of money or assets biblically speaking the bible says that you only need to have three things in order to be considered wealthy if you have clothing food and shelter is and i think all of us can see that we're all pretty much wealthy according to the bible uh the first place i want to read in the bible is luke chapter 18 verses 18 to 25. and we all know this story it's about the rich young ruler and he came to jesus and he asked him how do i get into the kingdom of god and it reads the following a certain ruler asked him good teacher what must i do to inherit and to inherit eternal life why do you call me good jesus answered no one is good except god alone you know the commandments you shall not commit adultery you shall not murder you shall not steal you shall not give false testimony and honor your father and mother all these i have kept since i was a boy he said when jesus heard this he said to him you still lack one thing sell everything you have and give it to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven then come and follow me when he heard this he became very sad because he was a very wealthy man jesus looked at him and said how hard it is for a rich to enter the kingdom of god indeed it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of god now in this passage we see that this man he was very attached to his personal gained wealth and so through this section of the bible we can tell that being rich is never enough does anybody know in worldly terms in worldly terms what's better than being rich being more rich so being rich is never enough movies and then one car for every single day of the week and that's a lot of times that's how we are a lot of times we don't see it but it's true it's human nature another passage from the bible i'd like to read is acts 16 14 and 15. and this talks about this one woman who was also wealthy but she did certain things that the rich ruler did not enact and it says one of those listening was a woman from the city of tayarita tayatara that's what it is named lydia a dealer in purple cloth she was a worshiper of god the lord opened her heart to respond to paul's message when she and the members of her household were baptized she invited us to her home and in this passage we see that this woman in my bachelor was still amista she was a worshiper of god [Music] for those of you getting baptized raise your hand so being baptized is making a covenant with god you make a covenant twice this same covenant two times in your life hopefully only two times in your life when you are marrying your spouse for rich or for poor baha'is in sickness and in health and this is the same exact covenant you make with god when you get baptized the key is you can tell that she was a missionary because she accepted paul and the people that he was with into her home so now that we know that we are all wealthy what do we do how do we serve god how do we glorify his name with the possessions and the bible actually has instructions on that these next two verses i'm going to read i have three points from them first timothy chapter 6 verses 17 and 18. it says command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth which is so uncertain but to put their hope in god who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment so this verse the first one chapter verse 17 it has two points and the third one i will read later it says do not be arrogant and do not put your hope in wealth another verse i'd like to read about how to not be arrogant is in deuteronomy 8 18. voices and moses said the following but remember the lord your god for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth you know what it is and to not put our our hope into our wealth [Music] in proverbs 23 5 it says cast but a glance at riches and they are gone for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle and then so in this verse we can see that nothing is promised to us whatever riches we have today we don't know if we're going to have it tomorrow and a perfect example is job [Music] job was a servant of god he worshipped god and he thought it was only because of the possessions that he had even ticked he went to god and he said god i'll bet you if you take away everything he has he will stop him we need to always remember food clothing and shelter and that's everything that we need to be thankful for back to first timothy chapter six and it says command them to do good to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share this verse i think is the most important that when it comes to our lives what do we do with our riches what do we do with the things that god has blessed us with in the bible it says you reap what you sow and where do we sow exactly do we sow into the church do we sow into the sunday school to me or the youth for the glory of god yes and i think it is very important for us to remember this next verse that i'm going to be reading it's ephesians 2 8 through 10. when i was in middle school in high school i think every single year was enrique i was homeschooled so we had a bible school there yeah and it says for it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves for it is the gift of god not of works so that no man can boast for we are god's workmanship created in christ jesus to do good works which god has prepared prepared in advance for us to do and in this very last part of the passage it says that we are created in christ jesus to do good works and then later on it says that god has prepared in advance for us to do this when there's a guest speaker that comes to our church see it is very important for us to know that these people are sent to us by god today so when we have a collection especially today i encourage you guys to give a little extra instead of going out and maybe eating at an expensive restaurant and treating yourselves i encourage you guys to give a little extra to be generous and so back to my story when the woman came home she was waiting for her husband and when her husband came home he was shocked her long beautiful hair isn't there no more and she said i cut my hair so that i could get enough money so we can go and fix your watch [Music] so that i could get you a nice pin for your long hair and so this is a very good story for us to remember this couple was to rely on money in our lives but to rely on god because he is our provider money can't buy you everything in this world and we need to remember that god gives us the time that we have on this earth and we can't waste it with money you can buy a bed um [Music] but you can't buy good health you can have insurance but that still doesn't guarantee your safety so we've got to trust god rely on god [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] and [Music] help them to also build a relationship with you and to seek you god and to fulfill their will that you have for them father god i pray that you help us to remember that our riches are not what help us to live our lives so that we would live for you and i pray that you bless the remainder of the service and our speakers i pray that you reveal yourself to them so that they would also serve you and bless the youth blessing help us to also seek you god i thank you for everything father god you're jacob to be mean in your mighty name i pray for you amen today at five o'clock we'll be having our classes for holy water baptism um 6 30 we will be having our youth service tonight monday at 7 30 we'll be having our church prayer here in this place wednesday at 7 30 we'll be having our evening service and we will be having two guests one from ural bernard i'm sorry verna gore thank you after all is next sunday at 10 30 will be our prayers and at 11 the beginning of our service we will also have a guest from russia and he will serve with the word and song alexander guzif and his name is alexander gustin sunday night at six o'clock and we will have our outreach english services but before we um talk more about it and this service will begin on saturday uh greetings everybody you know we have a english cell group and we decided this time to do something different before our english service merited we decided to go to downtowns to sponge ducks chile at privates of spanish ducks downtown central gorda tarpon springs preach the word propaganda and we ask all of you to pray for us and pray for the people who's going to be hearing the word and we're gonna gather here on saturday at 6 30 street so bottom of the champions yes we're gonna pray palm olympia and at seven o'clock we're going to be meeting in sponge ducks if cmc saw veterans yeah first and foremost and on that we will be uh our announcements are coming to a close we will be having our offer and we will be having two offerings we miss him and we are glad that he we have this opportunity for him everybody let's get up and pray see more i'm sorry all pray guys foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] m i just want to thank thank you guys for the opportunity i know uh our youth pastor wasn't able to be here today but i know he's watching us live it's his anniversary so happy anniversary paul yeah all right guys so i um want to start off with i mean we were just going over in our bible study and just the way jesus came up and preached in the synagogue i just wanted to bring that up right before i start my word and it's in luke 4 16. he's the goat preacher and anybody in sports means great greatest of all time go preacher g-o-a-t the greatest of all time yeah the greatest old time on youtube so he said so whenever he would go he was uh he went to the synagogue and he was like then he came up uh and stood up to read next year it says and then the scroll the prophet isaiah was handed to him so they would come there he didn't come up with the bible or anything indeed and so you already know he memorized the whole thing so he gets straight to the next part he says the spirit of the lord is on me because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor he has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind to release the oppressed. certainly like oh by the way i was talking about myself and just imagine how savage i was back and so i just feel like it just reminded me of like our modern day church that we have now all right so i just want to get into my word that was just something that was a big revelation in me and i just saw like how jesus was preaching and so she wanted to show that all right so i want to be speaking about the power of faith and so i know all of us if not if not everyone but at least i would hope all of us believe in god we believe that jesus came down we believe that as the son of a god you know if you'll say he died for our sins and was resurrected i believe in the holy spirit so it's not this topic isn't about the just scratching the surface of belief yes so first we know that the most important so we have to start off with the basics the first thing about faith is that you cannot be saved without faith how can you be saved uh from your sins and from your uh from your ways if you don't even believe that god can do that or if you don't even believe god exists is and then uh also dennis shared ephesians 2 8 it says through believing then you are saved through faith and this is not from yourselves and then romans 10 9 you can see that that if you confess with your mouth jesus is lord and believe in your heart that god raised him from and so and even um atheists they are they are uh they're ones that believe and know god is and so that's why just faith alone is not it's enough i caught myself i know whenever people would ask me yes like hey how long have you been a christian because it's russia my whole life is that that can be that has to be one of the biggest lies how are you born a christian yes you are born in a christian family you are given a better opportunity but you are not a christian until you uh accept jesus into your heart so now i changed and i said well i was born although i was born in a christian family i did not become a christian until i personally received it from myself christianity through generations or by showing up to church on sundays you're going to be saved through accepting jesus christ and i know it's kind of like uh i i know a lot of you guys can go back to that moment i know a lot of people relate it to like um uh whenever you fall in love i know whenever i at my engagement party yes um some people have a story of oh i saw her across the hall and she flipped her hair story died the heavens opened up [Music] but you know that but it's not everybody has it like that some people maybe she was just going to use service all the time that's the same youth group and then then you started realizing you're catching feelings and you started spending time i was changed but then you but then you finally called it to yourself and so i want to move on straight to the next to the next category because i believe that we all here already accepted jesus into our lives faith is an ongoing process it's not a one-and-done determine between two contradictory propositions uh and are unable to be certain between them and so you know whenever somebody tells you hey it's um let's say it'll rain tomorrow and i'll say i'll doubt that i doubt that it's just something wise that means i don't know if it will or if i don't know if it won't yet it does not just there is no and so you have a purpose that god has called you for no doubt one example that we just recently read was uh first samuel 6 8. 68 and so this story is a story whenever the uh philistines the story of philistines and so what happened is that they stole the ark of the covenant and the reason why they kept moving is because everybody that uh wherever that argument the covenant was god showed his wrath on him and so they started showing up tumors and he and so what they did is right here in this story oh there it went away here i'll read it it was in first samuel 6 8. so what happens that they sent it back and in the chest beside it put the gold objects and you are sending back to him as a guilt offering send it on its way um and so then they said but keep watching it if it goes up to its own territory toward beth shamesh then the lord has brought the great disaster on us but if it does not then we would know that it was not his hand that struck us but that it happened to us by chance yes and so they're sitting there and they're like i don't know i don't think it was god although there was hundreds and thousands of people dying from tumors so let's just do this one last check and so often in our lives do we say oh i don't know if that was god that did that was that was it coincidence or a god incident and so a lot of times the christian struggle between what is a coincidence and what is god inside christianity [Music] in limitations 337 it says and everything that god has a plan for or in everything god uh whatever god whatever happens god has control of peace mary and joseph were neither of them were from bethlehem no new york and so just by chance it was night to cook with china that they had to go back to bethlehem because of uh taxes and so we should have that faith and look out for that to be like all right god i see that you're working in my life it's not just a could instance that that happened and so i know uh there's an another extreme to it though my boss believes like i believe there's no quit incidences right but my boss will go to the extreme where he stubs his toe uh like oh no that was not a quick instance god wanted me to stop my toes yes let's go stop yes yes so i mean sometimes sometimes you stub your toe because you stub your toes but all right so and now our second thing that hinders or uh creates that um and so it is it is easy here and now as an american to be prideful uh was not much but a second it is easy for us to be prideful and so it says this is what the lord says curse is the one who trusts in man who depends on flesh for his strength and and whose heart turns away from the lord so do you have faith in yourself or do you have faith in god it is easy here be like oh i i was the one that earned that money you know i'm saying i worked hard but don't forget who gave you that opportunity and so i know like nowadays america versus whenever i i talk about whenever i hear my parents talk about ukraine yes i feel like back then was a little harder to be prideful i call it the caveman times yes because what happens is they had to pray for rain because otherwise they wouldn't have food and so now the third the third way that you can uh turn away from faith or your faith it is avoiding his word this is biblical it's romans 10 17. adam romans 10 17. yes it's it says consequently faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of christ faith comes from hearing the message stop showing up to services what do you think's going to happen stop reading the word of god what do you think's going to happen your faith and so uh your faith in your relationship is going to starve without it that's why it's literally called the word the breadth i can press on my phone and that thing was just real read me the bible telephony app yes while i'm driving to work i'm bringing it in [Music] it's because i don't like to read but i mean if it's read to me then i love it there is no there is no excuses so you find your way which works and so it's crazy though that we believe in a god we believe i was looking for a mattress furniture shopping right now it took me three weeks after watching 20 youtube videos of which mattress i want yeah youtube and now we're about to spend our entire lives we're about to spend our entire lives with god and we can't even spend a couple hours a day just to read and to see what's more about him we can't even finish the bible before we pass away listen i still haven't finished i'm going strong we actually started a bible study huge huge promotion and so what we do is we read one chapter a day from the old testament then we do like three chapters from the new testament a week and so now we're done with i would say like we're up to first samuel in the old testament we're up to i believe the third gospel in the new testament would share be like man i wasn't going to read this week but i knew we had bible study today sometimes they read it one a day you know sometimes to read all but we all just came together and we said hey we have that passion to finish the bible and so what are you doing to to get your breath i know and even in the in uh in the prayer of the lord's prayer yes it says give us today our daily breakfast and so we we focus and we spend so much of this time instead of in his word and so just to please man and so what does that show with our faith um we focus on our haircuts we focus on the gym our car all right so this leads me to the next point and i just want to reiterate faith doesn't stop at believing yes and so you guys i'm not going to read it because everybody already knows it but it's faith without deeds is dead and so and it goes into example and it says uh even inside james it says uh even the devil believes in god but if you keep your faith inside and you never so that faith that we have that there is a heaven in health that encourages us ok ok uh if you believe that jesus died for us if you believe in the good news of the gospel then you would want to preach it oh yes yes you won't want to keep that in mind it starts twirling inside and breathing do you have flows of streaming of living water flowing out of you oh tibia is your faith just show up to church on a sunday are you feeding it every day faith doesn't stop and obedience is compliance so the obedience is compliance with an order request or law or submission to another's authority is if you don't want to proclaim it and so a great example i think the the one of the best examples in the bible is uh honorable mention is noah honorable mention it's like uh like a second that's kind of my second best yeah second best is i mean imagine building an ark for a hundred years and everybody's just sitting there i mean it's about the don't and it's not quote in the bible but about 100 years and everybody's just sitting there and just cracking up at you we can't even read our bible five minutes and this guy's building it for for 100 years [Music] whenever whenever they're sitting there like i i try to picture it in my head like a movie and so imagine just a dad and a son he's just like hey we're going for a camp trip oh paige and he knows he told him we're going to go on for a sacrifice and imagine imagine i mean it's a couple days long relative and it sounds like yo dad where's the sacrifice he's he's just sitting there for a couple days and he's scratching his head [Music] and so he took his son all the way to the mountains it's because for me even my mom let me have those with my mama i'm moving 25 minutes away and she's what about us and so because god saw his obedience we know how it all ends but what a role model is to us but i feel like nowadays we're more like the israelites in the desert because whatever they would do is they just they're like hey god we believe you you told us to leave egypt like yeah we believe you exist but maybe we should have just stayed in slavery i just showed you like the 10 at least miracle no like 20 miracles just on the way out here and you already forgot how often in our lives god it shows like oh god if if you really want me do the do the dude i'll make the do uh the grass wet but not my boyfriend and so he does it in our lives you're saying oh god if only you answered this one miracle i will never doubt you again i will never be like oh god where are you oh yeah so he does it how about we do it reverse are you kidding us do i need to like walk down there and tell you myself that you need to do this and so don't be like these examples take action if god is calling you to action show your faith in him and do it teenagers that would say and send it uh no send it send it it's like just go send it means it's like all in ah okay so if god's calling you to testify to people around you do it yes if god is uh sharing or give you a kind for heart help others god gave you a voice worship him if god no prison show your faith in your ministry and take action and so those were just examples that i had and so in john 14 12. i tell you the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what i have been doing he will do even greater things than these because i'm going to the father all the way to 14. and i will do whatever you ask in my name so that the son may bring glory to the father you may ask me for anything in my name and i will do it yes so the first part of this verse it says if you oh can you go back it says uh anyone who has faith in me step one faith in me and then step two in verse fourteen it says you may ask me for anything in my name and i will do it yes he didn't say sometimes you say if if if you feel like it yes if do you believe that and then i know like as a child you're asking like oh i want to ask for a million dollars god i have faith you said faith of a mustard seed that's pretty tight uh not the greatest movie but anyway superhero movies i like superhero movies wonder woman 1984. anyways um so what happened is in the movie oh we left this one out how about that in the movie everybody gets granted their wish and then you just see that the world turns into chaos muslims yeah so it's basically so what happens whenever everybody gets exactly what they were asking for and so you have to have faith you have to have faith in god's plans and i believe that i can get a million dollars all my life if it is not god's plan let me get this straight point if you start writing down your answered prayers imagine if the egyptians wrote down every miracle that happened to him or no not the egyptian sorry the israelites so then right before they would start crying out to god if he if he still hurt him wait why are we doubting him with some new items and so we're very quick to forget you know at the end of the semester we're just looking back we're like oh man i remember this prayer oh i remember answering this and then all you can think about is not oh where are you god it's wow god and so also share your testimonies to uplift the people around you what is he is there why either what you know what he's doing or not on time your body peter you know i'm behind you peter is nice you have faith i'm behind you if you're stressed out but see you don't know what i'm doing right now nothing is nice no clue what i'm doing see so we can be sitting here but god is doing his works and so i want to lead into my conclusion and so i just want to reiterate that faith doesn't stop at believing oh i believed god i said you know i accept you my heart once i'm done what are we doing with our actions we know that the devil all right guys so if whoever whoever has that whoever has that the social desire in their heart i know that everybody here already accepted your name and if not then you were called up too yes and yet the most prominent people lord to the altar yeah is [Music] you the praise in jesus name amen i mean i don't feel like it's done it's anybody so if you need that special prayer what are you waiting for what are you waiting for close your eyes and let's just pray to the god hallelujah jesus hallelujah lord jesus [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hallelujah may the lord's presence be with us hallelujah [Music] and we worship him let us just pray for more faith for a faith that it rests in our heart not just in our minds let us just receive this word that was given to us by vlad lord and and we know that the holy spirit was speaking through him and that we received this word directly from you lord jesus let us receive it so that it lives in our heart god let it be not on the outside that we just think that we have faith lord but let it be something that comes from the inside let it be something that we act on let it be something that we actually show and project into this world lord you left us here for a reason you left us in this world in order to magnify you in order to bring glory to you lord and we must use this faith in order to bring that glory to you jesus let us just call out to your church let us call out to the name of jesus and let us ask him to refill us renew us with this new faith lord to be to be to be faithful followers of jesus christ as he has commanded us to be so that we would do greater things as was said in the sermon lord let us pray let us pray church father let us pray in in conclusion father god we thank you so much for this for this moment for this time that you have renewed us with faith that you have given us a new desire to serve you and everyone that is here has made that personal commitment to grow in faith to show their faith and to act on faith lord we thank you so much for this and in the continuance of this service lord bless every heart that is here in this place and every heart that came forward we thank you in jesus name amen and we will continue after [Music] during this week my mom made me cut their lawn because david's on strike for two reasons anyway so uh i was like man i haven't gotten some good sun we had our good weather and i decided to do a shirtless yeah and i ended up being a lobster you think i would have learned my last [Music] and first and foremost we want to thank all of you guys because we wouldn't have a youth if it wasn't for all the families all the parents all of you guys prayers yes so it is all a blessing because you guys pray for us you guys give whatever you want thank you guys for everything i want to give kind of a little praise report uh from conference we had already back in february and we went to start conference in jacksonville confidence in nachala and before that it was just the whole thing getting people together to go to us about privates and conferences because paul couldn't go for some reason and we didn't know if we were going no one made any plans and i i have my wife and like i like i'm like man i don't want to take another weekend it was valentine's day valentine's day i needed to go on a date the amount of youth that kept coming up like guys are we going let's go to stop starting conferences and they needed somebody to go with them so that just kind of i'm not going to say cry but like a cry out just wanting to go yearn yearning for god so anyways we all ended up going it was such a blessed time and the most memorable night was uh saturday night the altar call after kunda i think david and uh he was speaking and he's an evangelist by heart so his sermons was very short now like some of the slavic preachers but anyway so he made a call and he's like everybody i don't know i don't like if you guys have a feeling that god's calling you today to come just for prayer raise your hand and i came late so we were kind of sitting more in the back and as i'm saying you see everybody's here and then as and then he says everybody make your way to the altar and like it just looked like soda everybody turned and everybody liked the soldiers it was all moving straight lines nobody left and that prayer was so powerful and the reason we're able to experience this is thanks to your guys's prayers have a short prayer i'm just going to thank you for you guys lord we thank you for our church for the support that we have for the youth ministry of the parents for all the members of the church that just keep blessing us father god and we thank you that they let their kids go and yearn for you and seek you father guys [Music] our i mean are we going to see it or we're going to sin yet [Music] so [Music] from the fear of having nothing [Music] [Music] oh god from the knees from the fear of being lonely do you live [Music] oh [Music] the [Music] is from the fear of serving up and from the fear of humanity [Music] me [Music] is [Music] i shall [Music] i shall [Music] and i would like to see this more and more you do you know what i'm talking about huh more and more often i mean amen and today we were spoken about faith you know with faith in general we are christians we are believers this question who is truly a believer in christ if you're a believer in christ you can raise it raise it higher hallelujah praise the lord you know christ once told thomas do not be a non-believer but be a believer because some came up some didn't but you know what i would like to see in them and you brothers and sisters that you would see with eyes of faith and i would like to call them forward should this precious faith god will no matter what temptations in your life but your mouth they are very precious before heaven because with your mouth you can continue to preach so that they would they would be on fire you may come forward and put your hands on
