with an entire church was fellowshipping in the park together and when we were praying for our families in our church you know we a church family when we are in park or anywhere we are we are always a family yesterday has passed but today we have a new day at the end Lord's House with us in the park you enjoyed it they had a great time I'm sure our children were praying we're jumping we were praying and and and and fellowships but what's most important that the weather was accommodating and we did not have any rain now but today is Lord's day and we're on God's house as you can see a wonderful youth is leading this service today you know we started this service with this song Lord we need you guys say this in your heart Lord I need you in my previous turn to the neighbor to the left or right if you say Lord we need one another I'm happy that you are in Lord's house today it is the time and that opportunity to greet one another [Music] and now let's tune together so we can come before the Lord and ask for it and one verse from the book look at them go to the Village ahead of you and as you entered you will find a cold side there which no one has ever written you you untile it and bring it here we experience we support himself we try to bring kids closer to us because we want to protect them so they will save it and closer with us but today we would like to pray and say Lord we are releasing them into your handsome something we have against them maybe there is there is some that are maybe not there yet [Music] we are praying and blessing each and every one of you who is here we are releasing as we agree together but we want you Lord to be the leader of the service bless each and everyone who's participating bless those are going to be preaching today how are you guys doing today um so I woke up today and I did not know it was gonna be this cold yeah I maybe should have worn like a little jacket Maybe but thank God that we have heat um so it was uh our last youth LED service about two months ago [Music] our youth leader he asked me if I was able to share a word for this uh upcoming youth service at first I told him I'd get back to him but as I was praying I I just felt that I needed to share so as as everyone my mom has told me before she said pray that God gives you a word that the church should uh that needs to hear so I was praying and I was studying the word of God the young lives at you with child's law abortion and uh uh so I had a revelation come to me and in this Revelation it was it was exactly what I was asking it was God telling me what I needed to speak about it but at the time you know I was just doing other things so I I did what I do with all of my other thoughts yeah I wrote it down in my notes and I saved it for later yeah well uh the end of the day comes I go to sleep and wake up and continue I go to school I'm in school and I start to uh think about this Revelation that came to me and and I look into my notes to find to to look at what exactly it was but it wasn't there so I I began to think why is why is this not there and a few minutes later I realized that it had actually been a dream so so I lost what well I thought I lost this Revelation yeah well I shared this uh this uh story with some some of my friends and one of them told me that not not to uh think about it as a loss but maybe the Lord's going to be revealing it to you as you study foreign so I continue to uh in prayer and in studying the word of God yeah with Chinese he began to reveal the thing that he originally revealed in that dreams and the best way that I could sum it up is it's up there traits of productive Christians foreign now first I think we should uh examine ourselves look are we living a life that is for us are we living alike a life to become more like Christ because in reality we're supposed to be living to become more like Christ and to be with him in his presence so can we switch to the next one so the first first one is reading and obeying God's word now I have a verse up there second Timothy 3 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which you are able to give the wisdom that leads to Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus this this is just uh I thought it was a good way to start off this point because it's written to Timothy that because he knew the the sacred writings which the word of God [Music] that he was able to gain the wisdom that led to Salvation so now whenever we read the Bible it gives us power the Bible has power whether whenever we read it we gain the knowledge to use to help us fight back from Temptations [Music] to use it maybe to help in we have we're struggling we can look to the word of God we can reference the word of God whenever we are trying to help others too much and because we have the word of God back in our uh back pockets we can stand for what's right but more important than just reading and having the knowledge of the Bible is obeying God's word uh James says but be doers of the word and not hearers only so he he's saying not don't just like listen read and gain that knowledge and have it in your head but but to act on it and by reading by reading whenever we read the word of God and we ask the holy spirit to guide us in it when which time a slow version not only will we find God's will but we'll find his will for our lives because whenever we re read the Bible and the Holy Spirit guides us it gives us this power to know what we are reading and to be able to use it foreign so I just encourage all of us to read the Bible and to allow God to use us speak to us and give us this power his power as we saw in the song he is a powerful God that he could transfer that to us that we may be able to be successful their personal question is foreign it's having an active prayer life I believe we all know that prayer is important in a Christian's walkway in faith I see his name on the speaker in Philippians 4 and verses five to seven it says the Lord is at hand do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ in Christ Jesus this is why prayer is important he says that whenever we do pray it can give us his peace it will give us this peace that is going to guide it's going to guide us it's going to guard us it's gonna help us in our walk yeah and in Matthew 6 6 it says but when you pray go into your room and shut the door and pray to your father who is in secret and your father who sees in secret will reward you to be there foreign value in in this verse it says that when we pray and when we are in the secret place God's going to be there is not saying that you know you know sometimes he'll be there sometimes which uh surprises me in in a certain sense as to why all of us as Christians aren't in that secret place spending time with God all the time because if I were if I were to tell you or if it was on the news that Jesus was going to be at this certain store you know maybe the Publix off of 19 over there I'm sure that everybody would pack their bags and they would go there to talk to him ask him questions and to see him [Music] now these are the secret place isn't necessarily a physical place but anytime any place that you go to spend time with God we can see this in Jesus's Jesus's life anytime he was you know he could be walking and he would step aside and pray and this is also seen in Paul's Ministry anytime before he would go into the cities he would pray for guidance he would pray that he would be led now sometimes whenever we're we get to that secret place and we are praying foreign but I just want to say that God he works in the spiritual realm the realm that we cannot see you [Music] that whenever we pray even if we don't see it right away God is working God has never left us if we pray he's working uh and James it says the prayer of a righteous person has great power right there it literally says that whenever you pray you know that there is great power behind your prayer how is there great power if we're not uh if if God's not working because it's not us it's God and in John 16 24 it says until now you have asked nothing in my name ask and you will receive that your joy may be full your joy may be full foreign Jesus knows that whenever we receive whenever we receive that our joy we get this this sense of joy yeah [Music] but first we must get there and we we must come in that secret place and we must pray to him and us not just not just oh man I want this but to to get there and spend time with God and ask him and he will answer and and I'm sure a lot of you guys can uh uh um I don't know I can't find the word but uh have have had this happen to you your family when you're praying for something whether it be uh healing some there's a sickness someone's salvation and or just help in general whenever God answers whenever he answers that prayer there's just great joy we're happy um so whenever we come before him it should not just be uh-ish there should be power behind our prayer and there is a supernatural power behind our prayer but we can't just come there and just say a bunch of stuff yeah yeah [Music] it's it's important to ask for guidance into what to pray [Music] in Matthew 6 7 it says when you pray do not Heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do for they think they will be heard for their many words do you not do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him here you know we're not supposed to just pray because you know it's we're planning on it we're just we're just gonna pray you know but this shows the importance of having making that prayer powerful because a prayer with power gets answered now um do we do we just want God to answer us or do we want God to actually or do we want to have this relationship with God do we want to just go to him whenever we need something because I know that I would want a relationship with the heavenly father um and I think it's important to not treat God as this Genie foreign but you but you actually come to him not just to not just uh for those reasons but to have grow your relationship with him um now in Matthew 7 verses 7 through 8 um it says ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be open to you for everyone who asks receives and the one who seeks find and the one who knocks it will be open now it starts off ask seek and knock yeah it is important to ask God yeah but he doesn't want us to ask once uh seek Him for 5 10 to 10 minutes or knock on his door once and run away God wants us to constantly be asking him seeking him and knocking God isn't looking for where you say it and it's done earlier it said that God already knows what you need yes so you coming to him isn't just to let him know what you need because sometimes he he wants to do something he's just waiting for you to pray and come to him foreign [Music] in the natural world the more that you eat the more full you get the less you want to eat um but I mean but I just wanted I I wanted to say before we go into the next uh trait that in the spiritual world the more that you the more that you eat the more that you hunger so the more that we pray the more that we read the Bible the more we're going to be seeking him and um for example let's think about it this way if you were to lose your phone number how long would you look for it would you look five minutes ten minutes or would you look till you find it so I want to encourage you pray till you receive until you find what you are looking for the moment all right so trade number three it's important to set spiritual goals now uh even even just setting goals in our normal lives are important many many teachers not even preachers are secular teachers [Music] um they would agree that whenever you plan you are probably going to succeeds and this isn't any different in the spiritual world just as tomorrow some of you are probably going to work there's School or maybe you make plans to maybe go out to dinner with some somebody some people to remind the planet if you never plan for something it's probably not gonna work picture both spiritually and in the physical regular world um in Matthew 6 33 if we could open it but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added to you it's important that in the beginning it says but seek first the kingdom of God and whenever we are setting up our plans and setting our goals three [Music] so we plan them it's important for these uh to have root in the word of God and in in Christ so that these uh Roots would not or these plants would not be a burden but rather fruitful in your lives and whenever we whenever we put God first in our lives this helps a lot because whenever we make uh goals that God wants for us he's going to make them happen [Music] but it's also important to uh allow God to uh help you find the plans that are good for you because sometimes we might get carried away and make a plan that we that maybe isn't so good for us this goal foreign so it's also important to ask God and tell have them show which of the goals may be aren't best for us is [Music] and water the the plant that is going to bring fruit we also see the same in uh Proverbs 3 5-6 it says trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make you straight your paths trust in the Lord have your roots in God don't don't listen to yourself whenever you're making spiritual plans use use your your foundation in Christ to help you grow up Now with uh new goals that we make is it's important to change our mindset it's not it's not only okay this is my goal for the next year or so but you have to change your mind to make sure that goal happens yeah and then let's go to trait number four characteristics serving others we we know as as the verse says up there just as the son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many Jesus came on this Earth to be to serve D and at the beginning I said we should be looking to become christ-like like Christ yes so Christ Christ served people so as should we foreign and the Bible also in places it says that it shows that serving others will yield blessings to you because of your slow version not only is it you know good to uh help people serve people [Music] but but it says that it will be blessed Allah as each has received a gift use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied Grace here we have we have been given a gift and we should we should use it to serve one another whatever that gift may be God wants us to use that gift to bless other people in their lives keep it for ourselves but to also make the world a better place and when we serve it's important to look outside of just ourselves and not let our uh not let us be in the way of serving others yeah it's important to put others before yourself and that will help a lot with serving which we will start with the inches so I encourage everyone use your gift to serve others whether it be outside on the streets um in your families in the church anywhere that God needs you and he's asking and he wants to use you that we've seen here we did the spot watches serve others Psalms 2 11 serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling serve the Lord with fear is God he wants us to offer our whole entire life to serving him he doesn't just want us to once a week on Sunday come to church and serve him maybe a few times during the week but he wants every second of our time so that he is able to use us through us to save other people and to do his will begin and whenever we do serve others it is important to not let this burden us but to give us joy foreign so whenever as as we're just uh going through our lives it's important to always ask God and the Holy Spirit to work through us to save people to help people to talk to people and to bring others to Christ another encouragement wake up every single day and ask God to use you but it's also important to act on on wherever wherever he's trying to send you out of course because sometimes God speaks to you and he wants you to do something I'm okay foreign so it's also important to act on whenever we ask him to use us it's important to also act whenever he wants us and then trade five is to remain focused on the kingdom how many of you are doing some kind of work and you lose focus how much do you get done probably not as much as if you were focused now there's a there's a story in the Bible that uh goes with this um and most of us know it so I'm just going to quote to it Matthew 14. it's whenever Jesus walks on water and Peter comes out to uh to Jesus blue is Peter had his eyes set on Jesus on Christina but once he he got carried up in the the aspects of the world like the wind is he lost focus and what happened he fellow now a little bit later it says that Jesus reached out his hand and picked them up so whenever we do maybe lose focus for a little bit it's we have to know that God's there with his hand out waiting to pick us up we because you lost Focus doesn't mean that God doesn't want you anymore just just because you sinned once he doesn't watch him no in reality he has his hand out and he's just waiting for you to grab it so that he can pull you up because now I think in uh in Mark of the same account it says that Jesus whenever he was on the Mountainside after the disciples had left he saw I have whatever um he saw that they were struggling and he felt their struggles I think he said he painfully saw them struggle so God knows he's he's with us in the struggle something even though he's not actually there we might not feel him he's there and he feels for us now whenever we are walking in Christ um Satan Satan's gonna do anything to uh get us away from him and just like Peter he's going to use the things of this world so once again it's important to pray to the Holy Spirit to God so that he can guide us and show us exactly what we should be focused ones we need to listen to his voice and Paul teaches this he says keep focused on things above things of God [Music] Colossians 3 1 and 2. it says if then you have been raised with Christ seek the things that are above where Christ is Seated on the right hand of God set your minds on things above and not on things that are on Earth here once again set your mind on God stay focused on him and not of the wind or on things on earth and the great thing is is that the presence of God is a great place so once we're in that place we don't want to leave once we're in that place we don't want to leave because it's a place of power and authority is because when we pray whenever we read the Bible he it it's Allowing God to work in US [Music] when things happen whenever God speaks to us so it should be our goal to dwell in the presence of God not only be there whenever we need help whenever things aren't going good to talk and whenever we need him or whenever things are good and we feel like we don't need them it's always good to be in his presence and to constantly be with him seeking him so that we can find this awesome love and place of power so I'd want us all to get on our knees and pray foreign Hallelujah father I pray that you would just fill your pour your spirit out on this place fill us allow us to have you as a God that you may show us the right way show us how how to live how to be more like you more like Christ live this life of of serving others God that whenever whenever we say something whenever we quote Jesus that there would be power behind it whenever we pray to you God that you would always be there to back it up and that and that presence Jesus I just asked that you would constantly allow us show us and so that we would not want to leave your presence but that we would constantly be more hungry more hungry for your word so that you may you may Empower us you may show us the all how awesome how powerful you are and that all we need is you Jesus all we need is you and our all our daily lives our human lives everything that if we just focus everything on you you will make straight our paths God Amen foreign [Music] you know you know when I look at these young people that are preaching and serving the lord and what really brings me peace and even amazes me sometimes when you hear them share it with a word and maybe something that they're worried about sports and it shows what God is speaking to them in that very moment and every time it just brings me peace because I see God is working in their hearts and when we hear somebody say these words that we don't have to run to God when we have problems but we have to always have a connection with God only the Holy Spirit let's say praise for our use for our children that God is working may God bless them I want to remind everyone that today at 6 PM we will have youth service on Monday at 7 30 we will have prayer we continue our main topic of our prayer is about the war in Ukraine that God would show uh mercy and on Wednesday we have our midweek service at 7 30 p.m we invite all of you we understand you might have work or school but try to make time to come to this service and Sundays our service starts at 10 30 in the morning in the conference room with a prayer and at 11 in the morning we have service here foreign we will ask you to stay after service in the conference room for a few minutes our service will be shortened we only have one sermon because we'll have a members meeting afterwards and we will have a financial report for the year of 2022. um [Music] and also I want to remind about the mother and daughter events you will receive more detailed information later on but right now you can write it in your calendars on May 6 is the mother mother and daughter events and I want to invite the sisters to come up front we will have a collection for our church and after that we'll pray for our Sunday school and then we'll have one more collection for our youth okay may God bless you praise God so this song that I'm going to be singing I just wanted to say a few things the words of this song are like a huge testimony for me yeah the first time I heard it spoke recipes also makes me think of the the session we had in December I think it is whenever we unpacked the passage about the names of Jesus Everlasting fathers Prince of Peace wonderful counselor um and a song talks about the names of Jesus and um like kind of like a testimony I want you to look at the words whenever [Music] thank you [Music] you are the medicine the only cure for everything I feel [Music] is laughs you are the true [Music] foreign [Music] resting on my shoulders foreign [Music] amen and now we're gonna pray for our children to put a chance so I want to invite all the children to the front but before we pray I want to tell you guys a little bit about yesterday you know yesterday we had a family Day picnic picnic and we had this awesome game that we played with all the children and all the adults you know the game was everyone would stand holding hands together hand in hand and this was the parents and the children and they would hold their hands there would be someone from the other team that would try to run and rip through their hands and you would have to hold your hands so tight so they could not rip through it and that's what we're doing today brothers and sisters today us as the church and these children up front were standing together hand in hand you know we're standing together with Jesus so no enemy would be able to break through the bond we have his name and we just want to make this connection together so let's stand right now so that we would bless our children so that everything they learned there in Sunday school that we would just grow closer together with them so that we would be able to stand hand in hand with them with them and with Jesus together [Music] Jesus we pray for all of our children here we pray that you bless them and fill them with your spirit God that right now as they go into Sunday school Jesus that they would learn something there that they would receive something from your holy spirit that they would learn to love you Jesus they would learn to walk with you every day of their lives holy spirit that you would speak to them through the teachers through the lessons Through the Bible that every single one of them would fall in love with you Jesus they would love the Sunday school they would love the church and they would just grow closer with the parents Lord we bless them all with all the blessings that we have that you fill every single one of them that you keep them safe and you guide them Holy Spirit and we thank you in Jesus mighty name we pray for all the children up here in Jesus name we pray amen amen foreign and uh I could have the the band come up and get ready but before that I would just like to thank the church that you guys give us the opportunity to serve and worship and uh you know reading of scripture and preaching so I just want to thank you yeah yes and I remember when tadas was uh you know a new youth leader [Music] he had this Vision that that we're like seeds that that were planted yes um and in the first semester the seeds are in the ground and the roots are growing so you go you don't see any fruits is yes and but but there is growth because there it's sprouting roots that go deep Allah but then the seed sprouts and there is you know growth and then you can see some visible growing up yes and I would like to read uh or in Mark 4 it's the parable of this the farmer who sowed seeds and I would like to read a mark 4 8 where it says still other seed fell on good soil it came up and produced a crop some multiplying 30 some 16 some 100 times this is speaking about you know uh about blessings and Christians are like farmers and then earlier in the verse it says that the Pharma scattered his seeds and some seed fell on bad soil but some fell in good soil and It produced a crop you and there was great Great Harvest and I would like to say that Christians have you know finances have talents that God gave them and we could waste it on worldly things or we could waste it or not waste it but give it to to good soil and there will be great harvest so right now we will have a youth LED offering Buddha [Music] um whatever God puts upon your heart may God you just want to continue to worship God as we all know the word is just as important the word and so uh before we conclude our service I want with the time that we have left to deliver a word that I have on my heart for you yeah you know when Jacob mentioned that the youth is like the seeds in the soil uh and so what the youth is growing from what we're the life that that they have is the life that has been transferred by faith so I urge you to continue in your prayers in your encouragement for example and so to start off my word I want to share a story about three kings and each King had a son so they were Fathers as well and each King uh gave his court the opportunity uh to have something called um actually go back a little bit each King had a a set of rules or obligations that the nation had to carry out in order to escape judgments but he he had an offer where he gave a seal of Pardon for anyone that would enter his court and would submit to his authority would enter so he would give a seal of Pardon what is this it's of Pardon meaning if they were under uh conviction if they were convicted that they could Escape that judgment and so each of these Kings had this standard because the son of the son of the first king is fell into transgression and he he did not want to receive that seal of Pardon because he didn't want to fully submit to his father or to his yes and so he wouldn't even go to the father because you know he would judgment would be executed on him the second son you know he said wow well receiving the Seal of Pardon that's a good thing but he himself also ended up in transgression is but you know he thought well okay I have this seal of Pardon so let me just continue in my transgression for it yes [Music] so that was the Second Son the third son he received the Seal of pardonia and he transdressed but he realized you know how gracious his father is that he would pardon him in his transgression so he decided to go to the father and the father welcomed him and he said you know son I understand yes I'm gonna give you my counselors my best advisors and I will send them with you and they will be they will guide you and they will lead you and they will show you the way you must go in order to avoid this trespasses and so if I were to ask us today which of the three would be a gospel like evangelia number three create here okay and so my goal today is um to explain different aspects of Christianity in the years before us and to try to bring it all together in order for us to get a better and full understanding of God is the first son he lacked the fear of God uh or or yeah his father the king and so and so he you know but he feared that judgment so he didn't go to the father and the second one you know he received the love of the father but he continued in his trespass and thought that you know he enjoyed it more so he didn't want to go to the father for it to be addressed and so a parallel to this is you know in the church as a whole in the 60s and 70s history shows us that the church was very well established in the fear of the Lord in the 60s and it led it led so much so in that direction that it caused people to even you know fear God himself like be afraid of God um so they would hide and they would try to escape that judgment yeah but as we know there was a great revivals in those years to come before the 80s and 90s it is and so it led the the that Revival was based off of a revelation of the love of God and so people you know jumped onto it because they realized you know God actually does love them and even though he is a wholly powerful righteous God that he still makes room is that the church began to go too far off into lawlessness you know meaning well God loves me Jesus died for me and so boy continuing my trespasses and so they took it too far to the other experience and so the fear led people into you know uh lack of joy in in Christianity to lack you know they had fear period is but on the other side people were just living lawlessly and trespassed against the Lord and thinking that it was okay I believe that what is coming for us as a church is is something where the where God is trying to give us a clear revelation of both yes we need to be established in both the fear of the Lord and in the love of the Lord now we'll attempt to bring the two together and it was a powerful Revelation for me and I hope it blesses and so covering fear I would like to read from Exodus chapter 20 verse verses 18 to 20. Exodus 28 18 down to 20. is what now all the people witness the thunderings lightning flashes the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking and when the people saw it they trembled and stood afar off and they said to Moses you speak with us and we will hear but let not God speak with us lest we die and Moses said to the people do not fear for God Has Come for God has come to test you so that his fear may be before you so that you may not sin so then the people stood afar off but Moses Drew near into the thick Darkness where God was and so what I find interesting here because God Reveals His presence to the people of Israel is and we see it brings trembling it's a very powerful so much so that people even said you know Moses let us hear it from you we don't even want to talk and so this is what I find interesting is that Moses says said to the people do not fear because and it's interesting because in the same sentence in the same verse he says for God has come to test you that his fear may be before you said and so you know as Moses contradicting himself do not fear but but let the fear of the Lord be within you okay foreign and so what does that tell us you know we see literally in the next verse 21 it says this was the outcome of this Moses understood the fear of the Lord and so he it says so the so the people stood afar off but Moses understanding the fear of the Lord it says that he he and he drew near to the thick Darkness where God was and so what this is telling us is that the person who is scared of God has something to hide um uh I'm gonna try to bring some clarity to this for example when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden they understood that they were dirty that the Judgment was to come for them but God was more concerned that that they were lacking fellowship with him that that relationship that connection between them has been separate separation is so the fear of that George separated them from God in the same way with the Israelites when they were taken out of Egypt the whole purpose that they were God took him out of Egypt and led him through the Wilderness before the promised land was because he wanted to reconcile them with him and so the person who is scared of God just something but the person who has the fear of the Lord is terrified to be apart from God meaning meaning it's more than fear you you want you want to make sure there's nothing that that happens that separates you from God that he has this Great Mighty holy powerful righteous being that created us that we would want nothing ever to come across our lives that would separate us to the Hebrew word fear yes and it actually means a deep sense of awe that that is that leads to Trembling yeah imagine as if a great king was walking you know into into a place you know when the people react they're like wow you know his majesty his his go you know but imagine the God of all heavens and earth you know the troubling that that way it's a deep veneration honor respect esteem and value in reverence towards and so being afraid of God related to sin uh afraid meaning being afraid that he's going to punish you right will lead to sin the reason this is true you can even see it in the lives of Israel the Israelites after this instance I read about you know they didn't want anything to do with God they feared his judgment about 40 days later they made a golden Calvin began worshiping and you might say but look they feared God they stood far away but it wasn't the true fear they were like the first son of the king that was trying to just avoid that punishment you know since the beginning of time man hid from God because of the fear of his judgments you know in Romans chapter 5 verses 6 to 11 it says chapter Global chapters 5 verses 6 or 8 through 11. it says but God demonstrated his own love towards us that in while we were still sinners Christ died for us much more than having now been justified by his blood we shall be saved from the Wrath through him and so we see that that judgment that wrath of God that was Upon Us was was there because of the sin of man from beginning of times and so the Israelites and everyone all the way till the time of Jesus's death they had every reason to distance themselves but the revelation of God's love towards us as Believers as Christians that believe in Christ it has to bring us into a place of understanding that that wrath has been removed through one reason only preaching is our faith in Jesus Christ you know in first John chapter 4 verse 18 it says chapter 4 verse 18. was you know what I'm going to read I'm going to read a little bit of higher for context from verse 16. it's just not supposed to help us it says and we have no one and believed that God the love that God has for us God is love he who abides in love abides in God and God in him so in this verse we see that if we abide in love and God God abides in us and so so we see that God is love and so if we have love God is in us so knowing this the next verse says love has been perfected Among Us in that we may have boldness in the day of judgment look at that and so it's interesting so if we have this Love Is This Love in us here it says that we will have confidence in the day of judgments because as he is so are we in this world next verse says there is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment yes are we hearing this and so we love him because he first loved us so I want to clarify what is not saying it says that we not that we don't fear judgment in order to continue to sin it is as I mentioned with the second son he used that pardon on on um in order to give him a license to sin is but we must actually continue to fear the lord out of the love that was revealed to us even as it was mentioned so that we do not sin because as we see in Exodus 20 20 it says that the fear of the Lord so that you may not sin business and so what we see here is that justification what Jesus did on the cross for us he pretty much pardoned us from this judgment and wrath That was supposed to come upon us on this list and it doesn't end on love because even Apostle Paul ran into this you know they asked them okay so you know must we continue in sin so that Grace May about it and he said he said certainly not we must understand that he said certainly not he said but to desire to continue to sin the desire to continue is actually showing a misunderstanding of His abundant grace and they're sinning in contempt of Christ's sacrifice and so this is pointing out that going too far and abusing this is also wrong is but we see that the answer in this Vietnam and what I believe is the answer is that God wants us to draw near to him this is his plan for mankind from the very beginning you know from from the very first day he created man he intended to have relationship fellowship and intimacy and from the fall everything is salute me and from the fall everything that he did was to try to reconcile that relationship and so we see an extra at the last verse in Exodus 20 20 it says the people stood afar off but Moses Drew near me and I believe today God wants the church to have this full understanding of the fear of the Lord and the love of God a healthy understanding of it so that he would be able to do his work in Us in Hebrews chapter 7 to conclude in Hebrews chapter 7 verses 18 to 19 it says this is a great truth revealed in Hebrews it says for on one hand there is a annulling of the former commandment because of the its unweekness and unprofit unprofitableness for the law made nothing perfect on the other hand there is the bringing of a better hope through which we draw near to God for instance and how many of us know that that better hope is Jesus Christ Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father exceptions near to the father through Jesus Christ you know it is important to understand the necessity of drawing near to God you know what before I get into that I want to go a little bit deeper in this section in Hebrews uh from verses 22 to 28. by as much so Jesus has become a surety of a better Covenant also there were many priests because they were prevented by Death from continuing but he because he continues forever has an unchangeable priesthood therefore he is also able to save and and the uttermost those who come to God through him since he always lives to make intercession for them for such a high priest was fitting for us who is Holy harmless undefiled separate from Sinners and has become higher than the heavens who does not need daily as those High priests to offer the sacrifices first for his own sins and then for the peoples for he did once and for all he off offered himself for the law appoints High priests men who have weakness but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints the son who has been perfected forever amen and so we see here is yes that our high priest our mediator our intercessors is Jesus Christ Jesus Christ and we are to draw near to God through him he has he has fulfilled all the requirements yes he has fulfilled he has done the one and only sacrifice needed he is sitting in the right hand of God the Bible says we can enter his throne room with Grace in order to access his grace and mercy in the times the New Covenant is not just to find forgiveness but in it can be found this freedom from sin and the power over it you know God came down because he wanted the hearts of his people he wanted them to have relationship with him know what God now what God has done we can come boldly before him fear and deep reverence to him understanding the love that he has demonstrated you know some may say that this means that the standard for us is lower you know because Jesus did it for us so we don't have to do anything but on the contrary I say otherwise I believe that the standard is actually much greater yeah because on the basis of Love The One and Only holy and mighty righteousness God that because of the transgressions our transgressions he would die on um so that we could be in his presence and by demonstrating his love that he has given us the Seal of Pardon even though we did not deserve it this should stir up such a great fear in awe of him a great awe foreign we should have no desire to sin because we recognize how deep his love is for us and we should not want to do anything to him and to bring this pleasure to him we should love who God loves and come and hate what God hates and so as we come into prayer today I want to read from Hebrews 4 16. it says let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and Grace in help in the time of help in needless should give you the desire to give your life up holy to him completely there should be no desire to live for ourselves yes the battle between flesh and spirit always exists but the more time we run to him to his throne room the more and more we will realize and recognize that we need him more and more and he wants our hearts he wants our lives he wants our lives to please him we don't have much time I don't want to do you know anything uh alter like altar called anything I don't want to do anything big I wanted to be genuine you know I want us to truly understand the fear of the Lord and the love of God and not to go into either Extremes in the same way that Jesus gave up his life for us we should have an even greater desire to give up our lives for him let's stay into our feet you know Apostle Paul at one point said it is not I who live but Christ who lives that means it's not David who lives it's Christ who lives in him don't fear do not be afraid as Moses said but run to the father draw near to him for in him is the power that is to overcome your sins the blood that will cleanse you and give him Temptation and right before we pray I just want to remind us about the products you know when he decided to come back it says and he arose the son and came to his father but when he was still a great way off his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck imagine this I don't know about you you're a prodigal son or daughter you have made this decision to draw near to him and it says the father has compassion and before you even get a chance to repent before you even get a chance he runs towards him he hugs him he cares how deep and Powerful is that run to the father in him is found the righteousness and Holiness Church let us pray Jesus Papa thank you thank you is foreign oh Father God as we stand in your presence Lord as we stand in this place as we enter your your presence your Holiness Lord though we were not worthy to do so Lord we know that by the by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ the high priest Lord that is a mediator for us as a as a one that intercedes for us on behalf on the behalf of us always we are boldly entering Lord before you and we stand Lord Jesus in fear and trembling before you Lord we acknowledge your greatness we acknowledge your Holiness your righteousness Lord God that you are Mighty and we stand in all of you in deep reverence Lord Jesus we glorify your name we exalt you Holy One you are the one that is worthy Lord God of all the glory and praise Lord Jesus but we as your children as your people Lord we enter boldly into your into your throne room Lord and we ask you for your grace for your mercy Lord for your forgiveness Jesus and I pray even more so Lord God that you Empower us to live a life of victory over sin Lord God so that we would become the ones that would be called holy the Lord so that you would come back and you would come back for a church that we would be without splaw or blemish Lord that you would come back for a church that would be called holy Lord Jesus let us truly step into this truth let us believe truly and receive this this discreet mystery Lord God in in the fact that your grace and mercy is not for us to to use it as a license for sin Lord God but it is for in order to empower us to live a life in victory over sin that Grace does not end at Salvation and forgiveness but grace empowers us into a life of Victory and overcoming sin and and being be in standing against the the the schemes and the tactics of the devil that he that he is trying to bind and to keep people away from you Lord Jesus and I pray that this fear of judgment be removed in Jesus mighty name because we know that you were the one the Son of God that was put up on the cross for us so that the so that this judgment and wrath would be removed and so that in in our place you died for us so that we were no we would no longer fear this judgment God but that you would that you would that we would receive this love Lord Jesus and still be in fear and trembling before you understanding that we should have and we would have received this judgment if it wasn't for you Lord Jesus let us know this let us understand this great fear and the fear of the Lord that you have revealed to us Lord but at the same time let us have a have a healthy understanding of Your Love Lord God so that we could truly be these effective Christians Lord proclaiming the gospel of your kingdom to the ends of the world and Jesus mighty name I pray this amen amen you may take your seats I mean is special um thanks to the Lord and so as you're preparing I would like to read from John chapter 15. John chapter 14 14 15 7 15 7 and 8 and verse 8. this is my father's Glory that you bear much fruit showing yourselves to be my disciples whatever you ask it will be for you amen so glasses in you with one um if his word remains in you and your desires are formed based on his words and you will receive because and you will receive God's glory because he put it in you is and this you will bear much fruit to the Father the ones that who knows the Russian word discipline does you know how this word came about it's from disciples disciples and so discipline came from the word disciples meaning it's a person that walks in discipline to their masters and so let us make room for his words and the desire to form ourselves within his words and so the the desires that he has in us that they would come to fruition is response Allah I will not song um [Music] National attacker foreign foreign [Music] [Music] foreign foreign foreign foreign thank you for hearing me out we will pray for your ear s who has ears let him here well God says he helped with shipments being sent to Ukraine look at that Thanksgiving okay now we can stand anyone else is yes foreign I mean is greet one another and be with the Peace of the Lord no no no
