us we implore you on Christ's behalf be reconciled to God Paul says he is an ambassador for Christ you know what is an ambassador if you look up the definition an ambassador is um a person or a diplomat who sent by a country as a representative to a foreign Nation [Music] so an ambassador is somebody who's in a foreign Nation representing their Nation you know if you ever heard of embassies you know a United States Embassy in a different country there's ambassadors in that [Music] Embassy ambassadors go into those embassies and when they are there even though it's a different country around them the country they're in is their Nation so Paul says he is an ambassador for Christ so what does it mean to be an ambassador for God for Christ or for God or for God's Kingdom you know an ambassador is someone who represents they're there to to represent the country they're almost like a messenger yeah so you know to understand this and understand it in a kingdom in a kingdom way a the king you know imagine you know let's say the president of the United States you know gives you a phone call and says hey I need you to go to this other Nation as an ambassador for the United [Music] States you need to go there on behalf of United States you have all authority of of the whole country of the United States in that foreign Nation you have one purpose and it is to do what you were commanded to do you have one purpose is do what you were commanded to do if you're doing anything else you're you're doing something wrong but there is something else if anybody stands against you they're not only standing against you they're standing against your nation because you are representing the whole nation you have all authority so if you're in an embassy of United States in a different nation and that Nation starts to attack that Embassy they're not only attacking the embassy they're attacking the whole nation of the United States and it's almost the same in God's kingdom our church here we are like an embassy for God's Kingdom we when we step out of these doors we are ambassadors for Christ's Kingdom we have a purpose in this Kingdom we have all the authority of the Kingdom we have a purpose from the King to go and send a message to to the people you know back in the days in kingdoms Messengers they were almost like protected there was nobody could touch a messenger you could never touch the messenger of a kingdom you know I'll give you an example if you read the story of job this is just about Messengers I wanted to talk about in the story of Job there's certain things that happened to him there are certain evils that took place in his life you know first all of his livestock died all of the livestock died but what happened there was one messenger that came back to tell then what else happened all of his servants were killed all of them but one who came back and told job and then all of his camels were attacked and all of them were stolen except for one messenger that came back and told job and then job's children were killed but one messenger came back and told job and you know before I would read this story I would think what a coincidence always one person survives to go tell job you know there was natural disasters but there was enemies also that attacked why would they leave one person alive it's because there was always a messenger who must go and tell them they would leave one to go and to tell him what happened same thing in a kingdom when a kingdom when a messenger is sent you never attack the messenger it does not matter what the message is the messenger is protected because if you come against the messenger you're coming against the very King himself in the message he is sending and just thinking of that imagine you were a messenger back in the day in a kingdom and not just any King let's say in that time it's the biggest superpower in the whole world is your kingdom you know even if I wasn't in my own King om I would walk around so proud that I am the Messenger of that [Music] King even if I wasn't in my home Kingdom or Nation I'd walk around you know just being boastful and proud people would ask me who are you I would say don't you know I'm from the kingdom of heaven don't you know who my king is my King's Jesus he's the one above every Kingdom even your king and people might get angry people might you know try to attack me but I know they couldn't touch me because I'm a messenger of the king and if they're attacking me then they're attacking the king the most powerful [Music] King so I would almost walk around and not be afraid and that's what we are here on this Earth we have a purpose to serve [Music] Paul understood he's an ambassador for Christ Paul understood he had a message to share with the whole world Paul understood he's in a place he's in a nation that is not his homeland it is a foreign place he is only there for a certain time he's only there to deliver a message and that's what Paul did now imagine you were a messenger and Ambassador sent for a [Music] mission you know everyone knows you're that messenger you're walking around that foreign Nation but you're not delivering the message you were told to deliver you know the king tells me go to that Nation establish an embassy there and tell people about my kingdom they have horror going on they have evil in their nation in their Kingdom tell them to come to my kingdom uh tell them they can come into my kingdom freely I paid the price for everything and then I would go to this nation as an ambassador and I know I have to build an embassy I know I have to deliver the message but what do I do I build myself a nice house and then what do I do let's say I want to maybe get a job and I'll start working there oh I found some cool friends in this nation uh I'm gonna you know make a lot of new friends oh they have maybe they have some some sort of entertainment I don't have in my my kingdom my nation I'm going to you know enjoy this entertainment for a while and I keep doing all these additional tasks except for the one task I was sent to do now what kind of Ambassador would I be what kind of messenger would I be if I don't deliver the message I don't think the king would send me anymore on any kinds of you know I wouldn't be the messenger anymore because I didn't fulfill my purpose in the Kingdom because the king needs to be able to rely on you just like the Centurion said he says do and he knows they will do it our king must know when he tells us to deliver a message we will deliver the message when he tells us to do something we do it we shouldn't live like everyone else in that foreign Nation we should stand out because we are from a different Kingdom we should establish ourself as a different Kingdom that is there for a certain purpose I want to open to Colossians chapter 3 and I want to read chapter 17 and whatever you do whether in word or deed do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through him whatever we do right now we live on this Earth we only are here for a certain appointed period of time we are from a different Kingdom we know this is not our home Paul tells us whatever you do in word or deed do it in the name of the Lord Jesus because that's who you're representing that's who whose kingdom you're representing you know the Kingdom of Heaven it has not been opened to everyone of this world they don't know what the Kingdom of Heaven is like on this Earth they can only see a small piece of it and that's when they look at us as ambassadors they look at us they see whatever we do in our word or our deed they think we're representing the Lord Jesus so wherever we go whatever we do we have to represent the Lord Jesus not just for our sake but for others sake also as ambassador we must know what Authority we have Jesus understood his [Music] authority we might say yes he is God though he's he's the son of of God you know he is the king of course he understands his [Music] authority but that's why he gives us his word in his word Jesus says all authority has been given to me and then he says go and make disciples and he says go and preach the gospel to All Creatures he is telling us he has all the authority he is the king above every other king there's no Authority that he does not have and then he gives us a command as an ambassador you go and make disciples you go and preach the gospel so if you're going and you're doing these things you're making disciples you're preaching the gospel and there's somebody that's standing in your way they're trying to stop you or hinder you or maybe they're even attacking you doing evil to you you know what you do you show them your decree and your [Music] command you tell them I am not here on my own but I am here on behalf of the king and my King has all authority it's written right here in Matthew 28 my king says he has all authority in heaven and on Earth and my king told me to go and reach these people do these things so if you have a problem your problem's not with me your problems with him any attacks of the enemy that might come against you they're not coming against you they're coming against the entire kingdom of God because when the enemy attacks you as an ambassador he is attacking the whole Kingdom and the king is standing behind you the king's power and authority is with you and you know what's the best part of all of that is that we don't have to be afraid we can be proud because we know we represent the king that is above every other king he doesn't just have all authority that's not it he also tells us how everything is going to end he tells us the end what will happen to our enemy he tells us the end what is going to happen to us so we should not be afraid we should go around representing God's Kingdom in such a way that people would just be able to see us and they they would know that we are not of this world but we are ambassadors of Christ and in Proverbs chapter 13 I'm going to be finishing here in just a moment Proverbs chapter 13 verse 17 it tells us how to be good messengers of God's kingdom it says a wicked messenger falls into trouble but a faithful Ambassador brings health they a faithful Ambassador brings health I want to ask us what kind of messenger are we to this world are we just do we just keep falling into trouble maybe we just keep going on getting sidetracked not doing what we're supposed to do we're not delivering the message or are we trustworthy does the does the king know he can he can give us the command and we will do it and when we do it we'll bring healing because I want to tell you this this world this earth right now needs a lot of healing there's a lot of evil in this in this foreign Nation this world and the only way we can bring an impact is if we listen to our King listen to our King fulfill his commands and that will bring healing to this world we go and tell others about our kingdom we don't just tell them we show them about our kingdom in everything we do in word or deed we represent Jesus and his kingdom we would have that faith we know that that the king and all of his armies are standing behind us we wouldn't be afraid of the enemy or anyone standing in our way because we have a message we have have a purpose to go forth as ambassadors of Christ and bring healing to this earth that's our purpose in the kingdom of God our purpose is to be ambassadors here on this Earth and you know as we close as we conclude here come to an end I want us to pray to ask God two things ask God maybe to show you where we haven't been a faithful [Music] Ambassador so that we could correct where we haven't been faithful we can represent Jesus in everything we do word or deed and the second thing is ask God right now what message does he want us to carry where to whom does he want us to carry this message to because you know we all here are ambassadors but maybe one of us is an ambassador that must go into the colleges and share the message but maybe the other one is an ambassador for your neighborhood one an ambassador for Tarpon Springs another one an ambassador to Palm Harbor or St Pete but we are all ambassadors so ask the Lord to show you ask the king to show you where he is sending you so that you can carry the message and bring healing in Jesus name Amen Let Us stand to our feet and pray Lord we thank you God we worship you King of Kings Lord of lords there's none like you King Jesus we thank you God we thank you for this privilege for this opportunity to carry your word to carry your kingdom wherever we go that we could be representatives of your kingdom we could be ambassadors of your kingdom here on this Earth Lord that we could show the whole world in all that we do in all that we say wherever we go we could represent you Jes Jesus we could walk around and we could Faithfully truly say as Paul that I am an ambassador for Christ I am am an ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven I carry the Kingdom of Heaven inside of me wherever I go they will know I am not of this world wherever I go they know it is different it is different in my home it is different In My Kingdom there is Health in My Kingdom God is with me God is my king he is the one who sits on the throne he is the one who is above all and my God my king can deliver them from whatever they are going through God I ask that you show us maybe this area of our life where you have sent us you have said go do this share the message there I have put you in this place maybe we have had been faithful God we ask that you send us once more give us another opportunity to share your message God to be your ambassadors God what message do you want us to carry put it on the inside of us in our hearts God where do you want us to go who do you want us to share the message to we will carry your word we will be this Embassy here in Tarpon Springs this church will be the embassy God for your kingdom where people can come and they can hide away in your kingdom when people are going through the difficult things of life here on Earth they know they can come to this place they can hide away in this place in your kingdom in your kingdom where you rule and you Reign Jesus we thank you Jesus that you have all authority we thank you Jesus that you came on this Earth You died died for us you Rose again and you have given us the authority to go you have given us the authority over all the powers and rulers of Darkness over all the principalities Lord we ask as we go we would not be afraid but we would understand that we are ambassadors that we are going forth Carrying Your Kingdom God the one true Kingdom that is above every other Nation God that when this earth falls when people pass away all the other kingdoms fall apart your kingdom would stand God we thank you Lord we thank you God we thank you for instilling this Faith inside of us like this Centurion God this faith that we would know we would know that you're going to do what you say you do that you don't have to go you can just speak the word and it will come to pass God so we ask as you go instill your word in our heart if anyone tries to stand against us we would show them your word and what you said God I thank you for every Ambassador in this room every single person representing your kingdom let us be faithful ambassadors to the end however much time you have given us here Lord let us be faithful ambassadors to the end God so that we would share your word with everyone who is broken down in this world they would see there is a better Kingdom for them the Kingdom of Heaven that it is there wherever we go we would carry your kingdom we thank you Lord we glorify you Jesus we glorify you God we thank you Holy Spirit the king above every other king in Jesus name we pray amen aen uh [Music] am for [Music]
